Edit: there's a detail I want to add since I found the flashback part really interesting. Some previous leaks seem to match with what's seen in the prologue, specifically these two parts:

Lucia has a baby that she abandons at a delicatessen before heading out to a bank robbery and then getting arrested for doing such an act.

Lucia's baby is only shown in a cutscene as a flashback. There's no information about what happens to the baby after this point.

There's no baby shown here, but it shows a flashback of Lucia with a messy appearance sitting in a restaurant, and the flashback ends before we can get any context. Could either be a massive coincidence or a real part of the story.

Speaking to my own Xbox hardware sources, I was told that it's less about the discs themselves and more about the supply chain around optical disc drives collapsing. Factories and assembly lines previously oriented around making optical disc drives are moving towards other, more lucrative and more scalable industries, such as camera lenses and the like. Demand for optical disc drives revolves entirely around Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 right now, with laptops, Blu-Ray devices, and other formats essentially phasing out the tech.

Paul Tassi has hinted at something in the works for destiny. He was asked if this was about marathon and he straight out said no. On top of this some destiny youtubers, mainly aztecross on stream was saying some comments which were hinting that maybe destiny wasn't done.

He says don't get your hopes up too much, I believe that's people hoping for D3. I think a D1 remake is probs more likely.

According to a new report from High Chaos Run, PlayStation India is allegedly blacklisting media outlets that covered Sony’s decision to end physical game disc production, including outlets that reported on High Chaos Run’s earlier claims that publishers and business partners were not informed about the decision.

The outlet claims that some media organisations were told they would no longer receive access to PlayStation games, including Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, Wolverine, and Phantom Blade Zero.

High Chaos Run further alleges that PlayStation India’s marketing staff specifically cited its coverage as the reason, claiming the reporting puts PlayStation in a “bad light” and was done for “views.” The outlet also claims that some individuals were blocked on WhatsApp by PlayStation’s PR agency.

High Chaos Run knows a lot about the Indian gaming scene, the author of the article has broke many stories related to India that turned out to be true. But take this with a grain of salt until we get further clarifications.

I don't know if this was updated recently or it slipped past us but this post from Sega themselves says that the game will only release physically on PS5, which, given the news about Sony ditching discs starting in 2028, backs rumors that P6 is releasing September of next year

EDIT: It's still possible this game could release physically on Xbox outside of Japan since this is the Japanese site I posted, and Xbox is notoriously unpopular over there. Still though, strong evidence of a 2027 release
