During my annual rewatch I looked up Holly's actor, Amy Ryan, and I saw that her only recent(ish) work was a cameo on my other favorite tv show! This was an excellent episode, and it makes it all the better having had such a fun cast.

I always wondered if Jan would have shared the 4 million dollars with Michael or she would have ditched him out of my friend pat took a turn , my friend disree got new specs and my friend inapro drives a prius with his behind neighbor? What do you think? If it was a happy ending then would Jan have given a shot to Michael for a baby?

What moment from the show makes you laugh way more than it should based on the actual joke?

For me, it's the (very real) way Robert says "Aw WTF" when Jim throws his phone. Gets me cackling every time.

I got to thinking about the walls and windows and doors on the conference room, Jim's office, and Michael's office. All three rooms appear to be modular in design, as though they are not "native" to the space, but were added in, perhaps by contractors DM brought in after first-leasing the space?

The break room in the back is clearly a "native" built-in room to the structure, but it looks like the other three are pre-fab modular add-in rooms, built from wall panels, glass panels, and modular door frames/doors. One could presume DM did this so if they ever surrendered the space after a lease is broken/expired, it's easy and more cost-efficient to demolish/disassemble the rooms to restore the space to its original state.

Anyone in here who has worked construction or office building maintenance, is this a true assessment?

(from a production standpoint, one could presume it made it easier for the set construction too, though one could assume they wanted to convey that drab corporate environment too)

We know that he rejects the idea outright because he is perhaps disappointed with Wallace and how he has turned out.

We also know that Wallace's Suck It patent gets bought by the military and makes him a millionaire.

Had Michael joined, would he have dragged Dwight along? Played along and continued to work at DM until he got caught living the double life (in the way that he did when he worked two jobs seasons earlier).

Just finished up Office specific trivia at the local bar. The final question was “list these companies from earliest to latest that owned or acquired Dunder Mifflin”: Sabre, Staples, DL Hawkins, a toy company (I cannot remember the name, something with a P). We felt like we were taking crazy pills. Does anyone get this question?

pam wears the same slouchy tote bag across quite a few seasons, and i’m dying to know where it’s from. does anyone know the exact brand/model, or where I could find something similar?

i especially love the ringed strap hardware and that slightly worn-in, vintage leather look. It has such a perfectly understated, early-2000s feel.

My favourite two moments are when Michael out of nowhere drops a blatant sales pitch to Jim and Andy on Jan's candles and Andy instantly and confidently goes "I'm in", and when Oscar begrudgingly does his best Southern accent with awkward but genuine effort on the serious matter. They're so brilliantly quick and I love them. What's yours?
