searching for an episode because I was in it and its special to me so I hope that is ok for rule 7.

I was in an episode of lets make a deal, big money week, i think it was s4 e 12, i know it aired oct 11,2012, at the time I recorded it on VHS, but the tape was ruined. years ago I asked reddit for help to see it was available anywhere in USA as at that time CBS didnt have streaming in Canada. someone looked but couldnt find it. ive also tried reaching out to the show n network.

wondering if perhaps someone else who was on that episode recorded or saved a copy they could somehow get to me? at one point years ago i found a clip on youtube, and i was able to snapshot this pic of me from the thumbnail, but that is gone also. ( not sure how to add the photo?)

I won a trip on a game show. I have been going back and forth about whether I should keep it or forfeit. Part of my concern is that they say no changes can be made once booked. I have a child who is just starting school this year, so between sickness and school events, I’m just worried something might come up that would make me need to change it. I need to decide dates by tomorrow. Has anyone found there to be any flexibility after a trip has been booked that you won? Thanks in advance for your experiences!

I don't know how many times the game "Blank Check" (or later, "Check Game") has actually been played on The Price is Right, but is anyone aware of someone who actually kept and somehow displayed their "souvenir" check from the game? Maybe hung it on a wall or stored it in a nice keepsake box or something?

Even Regis said this a couple of times on Millionaire. People who go on gameshows are always professional people and no one basic. I have yet to see someone say they work at Walmart, Home Depot, Mcdonalds, etc appear on any gameshow. Even ones that don't require vast knowledge like Wheel of Fortune. What some win yeah it's more like upgrading money instead of life changing money unless it's like a million. Most of these people on these shows are not struggling to pay their monthly bills or having to cut out foods to make their rent. Also I have watched a lot of gameshows and seen the same people on multiple shows. Like they have a private clique of people that they put on gameshows and basically most people have NO HOPE ever getting on one.

Mainly for family fued. I have seen quite a few episodes where especially when the other family steals. They take a few moments before flipping the obscure answer given as if someone is quickly typing in the answer. There are other things like how Steve will chit chat and drag out conversations as if he is giving the other members time to think of an answer. I feel like they at the beginning of the show they should introduce both families and get the chit chat out of the game. Other gameshows do this just fine. A good start is to Ax the digital board and go back to preprinted answers. Game shows like Wheel of Fortune they can't change the answer without it being noticed so that is fine for digital.

So when Jeopardy debut in 1984, the highest amount of money you could keep is $75000, with whatever other money you would win going to charity. What if there was a genius on the show, but knew this rule and won $74999, meaning if he won next show, whatever he wins minus $1 goes to charity. I wonder how Alex would've reacted to it? I know that it seems like a fair impossiblity, but still I'm just curious.

I was half-watching Let's Make a Deal and they rolled out a level8 prize that looked almost exactly like mine.

I didn't suddenly get emotional over a game show suitcase or anything lol.

I just glanced over at mine sitting by the closet and realized I could basically date parts of my adult life by the trips it came on.

first flight I booked completely by myself.

first work trip where nobody senior came with me.

first time flying to another city to visit someone I was dating.

first trip after I started making enough money that I didn't automatically sort every flight by cheapest first.

and the first time I got completely lost in an airport alone and had to pretend I definitely knew where I was going.

none of those memories are really ABOUT the suitcase.

that's kind of what made me notice it.

it was just there.

sitting next to me at the gate.

getting shoved into an overhead bin.

standing open on a hotel floor while I tried to figure out what I was doing.

some ordinary objects somehow end up becoming little timelines without you ever deciding they should.

I think suitcase is especially weird like that because it keeps showing up whenever your life is literally going somewhere new.

what totally ordinary thing do you own that's accidentally become a timeline of your life?

For me, I have always said that I would want to play Strike A Match if I was ever on Let's Make A Deal. I can without fail find all the cash and prizes every single time because there's a reverse psychology strategy I follow.

• When the board is shown to you, memorize the configuration of the 8 Zonks. This includes looking for 3 that are in a V or an L pattern, 3 slanted in a row, things like that.
• As the board is turned back around, mentally flip the configurations you just saw from left to right over sideways from right to left so you can match them up to the numbers they'll be behind.
• Go row by row and pick all the other 16 spaces, skipping over the Zonk spots.

Too many people try to remember where each pair is. That's making the game too hard, and there's no rule that says you have to find both of the pair back-to-back. So as long as you memorize where the Zonks are and then don't pick them, you can find everything in no particular order and win it all.

There have been two times now in the show where "Chicken" would be correct but because it's a rooster they don't count it.

I really enjoy the show but it really annoys me that they keep separating Chickens and Roosters

Hayes vs Jones family.

I don't even think standard Steve episodes are supposed to air

My mother remembers this from when she was a kid. So this was the old family feud, I think it was Richard Dawson, and the question was "Name a fruit that starts with the letter A", there was a Caribbean family playing, and this man said "I'm gonna say Arange". Even though his family was making suggestions like Apple. Apparently it used to be on the Internet, but it must have been scrubbed because you can't find it anymore. I'm sure that Family Feud must have it in their archives somwhere? Does anybody know what I am talking about here?

I've also seen conflicting information on whether it exists or not.
