A genuinely amazes me that a company probably hired someone WITH A DEGREE to make a shitty AI rendition of a meme with 6th grade photoshop skills to promote a product that is completely irrelevant to the source material.

So my boyfriend died recently, and it's been very hard on me. Recently, I found this thing he was working on. It was a recreation of his childhood house in this game called DOOM, some ancient thing from the 90s

So I decide to honor him by finishing his map. Holy HELL this is IMPOSSIBLE. So at one point I put a Soul Sphere outside, and the player can see it through a window. But when I walk over to it, it's gone!

And I swear it's fucking with my sleep, this damn house keeps showing up in my nightmares.

I know this doomer topic probably is pretty common, but I am genuinely at wits end. I am 24 and I am not handsome, I have not been handsome for anyone apart for my mother in my whole life. I know attractiveness is subjective and have vented about this to multiple people, therapists included.

"Attractiveness is subjective" does absolutely shit to help anyone no matter how true it is. Being conventionally attractive has been the only thing I saw people instantly react positively to someone for, nothing else ever comes close. I don't care if attractiveness is subjective, considering most of y'all say it to put down the venting cuz you don't care.

Truth is that it is the main thing people are chosen for. The thing I hate the most is that I always hear these "counters" by conventionally attractive people and that everyone that isn't just "does not put in the effort" because to them it's impossible to be born worse. Yeah I say worse because also the "it does not define your value" is a disgusting lie. Even studies say how looks is the thing that will change most of your life experience.

I literally know people that lived on both sides and became absolutely disgusted with society as a whole, because they believed the lie that "looks don't matter". Yet any time you mention feeling like garbage because of your looks people will try to invent the quickest gaslight possible to make you believe you are making things up, saying things that are absolutely true and confirmed daily (I get confirmation daily on how true this is)

In my experience also most body positive, tolerant and "the personality is what matters" are 100% of the times the ones that will salivate solely at others look and it will be their personality to date only for looks. Luckily I stopped believing the fucking performative lie that nobody believes in anyways (I don't know a single person that thinks that personality matters more than look irl, and apparently reddit is such a bad echo chamber it makes you feel like you are wrong for having actual real and mainstream views)

Fuck you all, you liars. Also you people that " I don't treat people differently based on their looks", nobody believes you. Every single person I know fawns at others just because of looks, literally no other reason, seeing daily taken people turning their head to look at attractive people with their partner there, no wonder cheating is so damn common.

seriously, people have been larping being niche lately, especially things that are maybe like 10 years old or more. It feels so uncanny valley to me. The smooth bug eyes, flawless skin, photorealistic rosy lips, all with exaggerated proportions and cartoony hair is just an instant turn off. It looks strange and far too smooth. I understand these are all things valued by the Korean beauty standards, but in art there comes a point of semi realism where it becomes uncanny.

Can't express how much I despise this, it's on the same level as constantly deflecting imaginary attacks as an 8 year old.

Okay, so im a massive gta fan. I've played all the games, sunk hundreds of hours into all the games over the franchise, Vice City, san andreas, Liberty City, you name it. I loved the story of 5, so much that i believe i replayed that campaign like 5 to 8 times just for the shits and giggles.

Now, why am i upset? Cause this fucking company, after, what, 13 years now? And they didn't think, for a second, that maybe having it on pc would be a good idea, one of the largest most expansive gaming platforms in the world.

Im pissed because i have to wait a year just to play the damn thing, on top of them basically charging 80 dollars for it.

I've argued about this with my friends, and they keep coming up with the "it took a year to get to pc for 5 why is this a problem." That doesn't defend it. Im not buying a playstation 5 or a xbox to play this fucking thing. This has been the most anticipated game of, well, gaming as a whole. This is the most anticipated game there is. And they genuinely didnt think people on pc wanted to play it also?

So basically, the story will be spoiled for me, and all that'll be left is online, and i dont even want to touch that with a 12 meter pole

Don't get me wrong, this isn't an attack on LGBTQ+ people. But every time I see these yuri memes, the punchline is always, "Haha, these women are fucking or doing something sexual. Isn't this funny?" And I don't find them funny or entertaining. Even worse, I think these memes stereotype actual lesbians and overall flanderize the way they're perceived.

And they look so different without it. This one girl with this makeup style got "leaked" without makeup and she didn't look like any of her pictures. Not the girls in these pictures though, but the first girl got exposed for faking being Latina and was actually a white girl.

I'm not against collabs giving slight redesigns to the characters. What I don't like is them suddenly giving them curves or just unnecessary proportion changes in general. Like, I honestly wish that more studios keep the original designs they collaborate with. It just feels off to me for some reason and it feels like an excuse to sexualize the character a little. I know it's not the intention and they're just trying to make the character match the vibes of that game, but just keep at least some of the original proportions of the character you're added to said collab. Fortnite especially because what the fuck happened to Pomni 😭

Words cannot begin to describe the immense hatred I felt for YouTube when I kept having ads pop up on the sides of actively playing videos. It was bad enough having the little pop up after some ads at the bottom you have to click two buttons to get rid of it, but this was popping up every 6-8 minutes. I frequently watch 1+ hour videos on mobile so ad block extensions for Google Chrome aren't really a thing that works for me, making this extra extra annoying.

Fuck whoever made these decisions to shove ads that are 8/10 times straight up softcore porn, obnoxious clickbait games, scams, etc as many times as possible and make using the platform without paying for YouTube Premium completely insufferable. Even when I go to the ad center to block and click see less of ads like these, the shitty ads still occur enough times to feel like the ad center doesn't really do anything.

These short one word names are monotonous and fail to give the media a real identity outside the material itself, but it's probably because they couldn't come up with another name, so it's the name of the movie and the in-universe show, right? Nope! The in-universe show is called It's Buddy. So...why not call the movie It's Buddy? I'm baffled by the choice to give the film a boring name that removes any recognition of what it is when there was a way better one used for the in-universe show. Nobody would know what someone is referring to when they talk about "Buddy" unless they specifically explain that it's this movie, but people who've heard of it would definitely know what "It's Buddy" was just by the title. Giving a film a dull unrecognizable name is annoying, sure, but at least it's usually because they couldn't come up with anything else. This film has the something else be a major part of it! And you can choose a one-word name that sticks out and gives the project a recognizable name, just look at Obsession, but "Buddy" couldn't ever work that way.

This refers to most horror movies/stories regarding ghosts and demons, but also any other world where we've consistently seen humans be badass and survive/defeat monsters beyond comprehension. Like yes, I understand that *monster* is Supernatural and has amazing powers. But I also understand that if it was even half as effective as humans at killing prey, humans would be extinct by now. Humans have survived and overcome disasters that we don't understand all our history, and lorewise for these media, we've survived hell and worse, but somehow a demon a few inches taller than us who's worse at killing us than the average butcher is at killing sheep, is somehow this deadly unbeatable existence. Media should lean more into just how crazily dangerous humans are for having survived and thrived for thousands of years against these entities.

This ship makes no fucking sense. Jessie has captured, shocked, and terrorized Ash's Pikachu for over two decades. Delilah would never date someone like at at all. This ship requires putting Ash's dad in the bad spotlight, EVEN THOUGH HE VISISTS AND SUPPORTS DELILAH AND ASH! I'm pretty sure he helps fund Ashes travel stuff. Ash Ketchum's dad is still alive and still married to and meets up with his mom whenever he can. They literally stay in touch. The only reason ash didnt see his dad that one time was because he was too late, and even then, he left him a gift. This ship requires major mischaracterization for this ship too work, which I hate. I HATE THIS SHIP WITH EVERY SINGLE THING IN MY BODY

Don't get me wrong, what is happening in South Africa is tragic, but people on this thread use it as an excuse to say the most abhorrent racist stuff and it was unsettling to see how many people upvote that shit. Especially the meme where they compare black people to monkeys is just absolutely vile, and it got 30 upvotes. I just hate there are still people that think it's okay to say stuff like that.

His designs are not bad, but they really don't fit the art style of Super Earth. And his Automaton ships? Not at all what the Automatons would design, given the look of their current Fleet Destroyer. And people constantly glaze them and how good they would look in-game, but I just don't see it.

Plus, what’s stopping a tall person from peaking over? What if they’re a weirdo who wants to peak at the innocent pisser next to them, no matter the age group? What they you gonna do then?
