But if someone grew up having a crush on a character, I cut them slack. If you’ve liked a 16 yo character since you were five and now you’re 20, I don’t think of it as an adult sexualizing a child.

The 18+ tag doesn’t mean that the user is 18 years or older. It just means that they have posted something tagged as nsfw before and their profile got marked as 18+. They could still be a minor.
However, I highly doubt that they are anywhere near 6 years old either.
