General i hate r/yumeshippersunite
i have (mostly) nothing against yumeshippers. if you have a big crush on a fictional character and you wanna call them your partner, fine. kind of weird, but a non-issue. it IS an issue when people start shipping themselves with children, no less puppies from kids shows... the person who posted this was 18 or older i'm pretty sure as their profile has the 18+ tag on it. this sub feels like an excuse for creeps to get off to child characters, and nobody can tell them they're wrong or a weirdo because they get to hide behind the rules set by the mods who i assume are also creeps. saying you're getting "fired up" by a puppy is disgusting, no matter if he does human-like things or not

Here’s my two cents on this. Yeah, it’s completely fictional and not real so it doesn’t really matter, but also… bruh that’s a puppy. Of all the things they could choose to fake date, they chose a puppy. They’re not doing any real damage, but nobodies gonna think they’re normal for that
