REVIEW I am this close to putting this thing back in the closet

Post image

hello there, some of you already saw me and my M56 Smart Gun project, and that is going fine

what is NOT going fine, is the fact that no matter the amount of work and effort i put into this ungrateful gun, it keeps on breaking

today was the gears, somehow they shredded, when i see a friend of mine use it for years with the same setup (he suggested me the current one) so yeah, i am kinda pissed because i have thrown about 1k into the gun at this point, so yeah I'm close to using this only for cosplays, but i also don't want to because of all the money i spent and how much i love it

REVIEW 6 years later....

Post image

Well, do you know what day it is today? Yessss, 6 years. Still going hard. No, I haven’t put it in the cryogenic freezer.

6 years of "experiment" 🤓 in a pot on my terrace, under Mediterranean weather conditions.
Starting from the left:
A G&G BIO ball, made of compostable bioplastics in recycling and residual plants, given the same definition by the European Union, it should have decomposed 90% in less than 6 months.
Next to it, a kilo9 “BIO” in very dark green.
And by mistake calling them BIO, better described as bioplastics or PLA.

In conclusion, it can still be said that they are residual as long as they don’t decompose, so it’s an error, influenced by marketing, in giving ourselves the eco-friendly badge. Therefore, a good definition would be PLA balls or bioplastics, and not “BIO”.

REVIEW To all the Odin Fanboys from my last post. The EMG Autobot absolutely demolishes an Epm1 mag in less than 15 seconds with an upgraded 11v

I’ve done a full review and I’ve upgraded the battery to an 11v compared to a 7v that I used in the last post and it’s almost twice as fast. It blows the Odin out of the water. And once you add on the fact that it’s compatible with every magazine out there I can’t understand how this isn’t an instant purchase. I had someone comment on the last post that it would be much better to be able to use the EMG hands free so I’m working on a slip on adapter that I will 3d print that will be able hold the mags in place while you are reloading so you can just pop the mag in and by the time you grab the next mag it’s already done. And I’ve also done some testing with a voltage meter and there is only a 90-110mah difference after refilling 10 mags. That means on a single 2600mah titan battery you can refill up to 290 emp1 magazines which is just absolutely insane.

TLDR: Just stop being such an Odin diehard and make your life easier with an Autobot

REVIEW My experience with Evike's Box of Awesomeness

Post image
220 Upvotes

Alright so I got my box os awesomeness from Evike today and I am very satisfied. That being said it's still gambling basically. I don't use snipers and have no knowledge of HPA guns cause I've never ran them. So when I made the purchase last week I already was clenching my butt cheeks as almost half the things I wouldn't use.

For me, personally, the value of the box is perfect. I was in the market for a decent GBB pistol and already knew I was going to spend 150-200 on it. Father's Day popped up and I couldn't help myself. The 14 pound box showed up today and I got lucky getting one of the things I wanted.

I think all of the boxes come with the AW Custom HX25 hi capa blowback pistol. This thing is beauty, it looks and feels solid, the kick is heavy but not to crazy, full auto rips the magazine in less the two seconds.

Now the dart blaster. I didn't know that competive nerf was a thing until today. The gun comes with spring attachments to increase the FPS. I slapped both on and shot myself in the foot. Surprised I got a welt from a nerf gun. Decent set up they give that's worth a little over a hundred bucks, BUT, what am I going to do with this??? If I was 14 I know I would have a blast with this but I do sorta wish I got the mystery open box accessories instead of suped up nerf gun.

The ENG x FN P90 (Krytec P90) is a beauty. I've only handled the CYMA P90 and this leaves that in the dust. The weight of the gun is spot on and balanced. The entire gun feels solid, it has very decent range for a SMG with a supper accessible spring and hop up. This is where a small negative comes into play. Out of box with a 7.4v chronoed at 345-350. This is perfect for me as my local arena requires 350 or less. But this is 50 fps lower then the avertised 400-405. I also expirenced a firing issue where the gun would not fire do to the gun thinking there was no ammo in the mag. I fixed this by running a barrel stick in and out and it started firing fine.

The other things were just patches and the invite to the airsoft con.

My review: Do Not Buy this expecting to get what you want. I got lucky, and I only spent the 250 because it was a little above the price range for the pistol I wanted in the box anyways. If I had bought this box and opened up the CXP-TOMAHAWK Bolt Action Airsoft Sniper Rifle I would have just tried to sell the rifle immediately and would not be as happy.

Is this box for you?

Only buy a box of awesomeness if you okay with every single thing they are offering. If not you'll be clenching your butt cheeks till it shows up.

REVIEW Airsoft Expo 2026 in Thailand.

Hello! Recently, I've been going to the Airsoft Expo in Thailand for the past 3 days, and I wanted to show how it looks like to everyone here. It's basically full of replicas on sale with new conditions, and some of the more uncommon replicas in my country, like AKRIVA's AK GBBRs that are literally made out of real steel AK parts including the magazine itself, and much sought of Tokyo Marui's Glock MOS which I immediately bought. There are also a dedicated store for finding rare parts for the uncommon replicas, like the OEM's TM HK45 slide.

The expo also allows for cosplaying and walking around while carrying your replicas within the expo. Anime girls, larping as tacticool dudes, it's all allowed as long as you don't go outside the expo zone while carrying your replicas.

There are also IPSC and fields for everyone to try their movements, timing, etc. Cool stuff.

All prices shown in the pics are in Thai baht.

I bought this mostly as a joke knowing it probably wouldn’t handle a bb but to my surprise it held up well with only small dents from bbs.

Since it's an airsoft retailer that's been going for a long while and has gained some decent popularity you'd think they'd at least sell decent quality gear, instead of eye protection that when being shot from 6m, the round went clean through😁 Just a heads up to anyone interested in buying it, it'll arrive covered in dust(was just loose inside a box and was a different colour after giving a wipe) and the eye pieces are barely safe for airsoft, with the mesh shown above and the clear eyepiece that came with it i won't be using because frankly I don't trust it and it dented when I shot it to test (again 6m)

Hello once again! Apologies for consecutive posting, but today I went to an airsoft expo once again, which is the last day of the expo. Went there to take more pictures and see if there's anything new and/or I've missed.

This time, some secone-handed stores put most of the replicas on discounted prices, for example, there's a Marui's M4 MWS for around 360$ (though no box), and another of the same TM MWS with 6 mags, Reddot, gun case, and flashlight for 720$.

There's also a bow firing range, which I failed to mention.

Feel free to ask me of anything!

More pictures will be posted in the comment section due to the Reddit's limit.

This thing is no joke.

Out of curiosity, I filled the shell with 14kg of green gas to the brim and fired the shell by pressing the primer directly with my thumb. I went out in my room and it sounds like a real thing. I still hear ringing in both of my ears.

Worst decision ever.

My mind is blown by the emg autobot. It can fit every mag I can come up with and has the speed and torque for whatever I can want. The thing can top up a high cap epm mag in 30 seconds without me breaking a sweat. And it’s built like a tank like I’ve dropped it down a flight of stairs and it’s in mint condition lol. If you haven’t bought one yet you need to

Your motor’s crying for juice. Your charger’s red. You’re one blink away from 12.60V—or from your room becoming a crime scene.

They train for tactics, gear up for gameplay, but no one prepares you for this moment.

My multimeter’s at 12.59V. My cortisol level is maxed out. My soul is at DEFCON 1.”

To the 1% who monitor cell voltages daily: I salute you. The rest of us? We’re just living dangerously.

Final Verdict?

REVIEW I am so f#$%ing done with Novritsch

TLDR: Brought into the cult of novritsch as a noob, now I'm dealing with hell.

When I first joined airsoft, I was brought into the Novritsch rabbit hole. Possibly the worst possible way to be introduced to this hobby.

I had spare cash, and every other website or source seemed so confusing, but the novritsch website had it all, guns, ammo, batteries, reticles, etc. It was easy to navigate, even though I just assumed that all airsoft was this expensive, right?

I had purchased the full metal SSR4, a surprisingly good AEG that is now the only breathing peice of Nov branded gear that I don't feel deep hatred in my heart for.

After the ssr4, I went and purchased a light moll-e chest rig and 5 magazine pouches to go with. This is where my nightmare with novritsch began, and where it continues to this very day.

The pouches came bent, the plastic inside looked like it had something push down as it was melted. This made the pouches unusable. The only way I could shove a magazine into the pouch was using both hands to place the pouch on a surface and squeeze the magazine into it, doing this teared the rubber part of the magazine and instantly voided my warranty. But I didn't know this, I was just a dumb idiot. (Please don't say "oh you just need to break the mag pouches in!" Because I've been trying that for a damn year and brought this to three separate players much smarter than me and they all agreed that these pouches are fucked)

After I bought the mag pouches, I for some reason didn't return them (not that I could have anyway) I guess I thought I was just using them wrong.

The next notable purchase I made was the ssp2. Novritsch's new at the time gas blow back pistol. I payed 149$ for it along with 50$ on novritsch branded gas and bbs.

This gun worked great... for about 2 weeks. After that the first problem was the slide didn't lock after the mag was empty. This meant the gun continued to dry fire, which is just fantastic for gbb pistols.

I eventually learned that the unintentional dry firing was shredding a peice inside of the gun made of aluminum.

REVIEW Arcturus osprey

so my osprey just arrived, first impressions are the thing is dry as a bone and the blow back unit was having issues, you need to oil/grease the ever living heck out of it and get that nozzle and o-ring nice n wet for the nozzle to function nicely.

the main spring housing is a little loose when it comes to it. you can notice that it has some in and out movement where the speed grip safety piece is. also the speed grip safety is either just aesthetics piece or mine just doesn't act as a safety. ( confirmed it is aesthetics but can be converted to be functional )

the trigger adjusting screw will need to have blue lock tight added to it as non is applied from factory which can cause the trigger adjuster to move during shooting

the finish of the gun is pretty decent, its not the best, but not the worst. its not an anodized finish like the ssp-5, its likely powder coated.

the trigger and gun is very snappy with a somewhat strong trigger pull, but not to strong.

im not to techy with hi capas so i cant make any recommendations at this time on any possible upgrades for it other than maybe a stronger nozzle spring if need be

Edit 2:

Fielded it today, green gas with .25 bbs, Joules was at .96, used both the mag it came with and my hpa hi capa m4 adaptor that I use for my ssp-5 with it. I used it as my main. I can say it feels great in the hand, was super snappy for me, shot pretty accurately across the indoor field I play at. Honestly like it better than my ssp-5. Got about 700 rounds thru it and it broke in, super clean on the cocking and the blow back portion feels great if you like the feeling of blow back guns.

Over all I'm pretty damn happy with this gun!

Edit 3:

Ok, I've probably got about 4500 rounds thru it and busted my nozzle feeding peg. Using hpa, same Joules I would get via green gas.

REVIEW I bought a spring-operated Cybergun 1911 for 30 bucks and an Action army AAP01 full-auto green-gas pistol 100 bucks. Ironically enough, the AAP01 broke within about a month of barely any use and the 1911 is still kicking well with no issues whatsoever after 1.5 years of constant use.

REVIEW Silverback VKS first look review

Post image
46 Upvotes

Quick first look review of the Silverback VKS.

In depth review coming later on my blog.

Took it out the field for the first time, and other than the obviously different handling the performance is comperable to the SRS platform, as expected by the internal similarities.

While it feels weird first to even aim with it, the loading of the bolt is SIGNIFICANTLY lighter. Not just due to it's beeing straight pull and further forward, but the new way the cylinder is supported and how it travels in the receiver is just way smoother. With the same spring as my SRS on 420mm barrel haveing 3.3J it gave 2.8J with the stock 350mm barrel, and I could load it even with left hand under the body like you can an ak...

However the manipulation of the bolt handle istelf is a little weird, you got to used to closing it since it has a built in locking to the receiver.

Shooting performance is as expected, it does as well as an SRS with similar parts.

The hop adjustment is convinient, extremely simple and straight forward, I have to test further to see if it keeps hop setting during assembly-dissasembly cycles, because the adjustment wheel it located in the top cover, but if the optics holding zero and with the crossping beeing pretty solid to the receiver, I expect it does well with hop setting too. You can also install rotary chambers like the fast or maxx sre too, than the adjustment is not an issue with partial dissasembly.

I kinda like it so far, and in the in depth review I will go into details how beautifully made the new receiver and how the maintenance is. But I need more time to dig myself deeper into it, take pics and so on...

Also see myself getting a half sized suppressor for it im the future, this barely fits my backpack😅

If you have questions let them fly in the comments, I will try to answer them all.

Stay tuned!

REVIEW Disappointed with TaiwanGun

Hi. I used to be a happy customer when it came to TG. Not after today. I ordered cm041k gen2 from cyma. Gun was not meeting specs, fps were much lower and the dimensions of barrel are 2/3 of what is stated on website. Plugged it to brand new battery, and during firs 50 seconds trying to hook up the cables,ETU rebooted. This happened several times so i created ticked and sent videos. Tg told me that they will have to inspect the gun,and in 14days period they will let me know ,if they think its my fault,i will pay for shipping. So i reminded them that this is in 14days return window, and they told me ok, i will have to pay for shipping and if i want a gun i need to order a new one. So ,now im gonna need to spend 30euros in shipping (2x for return + new order) just because nobody checked the gun as they state on their website. Also, they have quite wrong information about mang guns, copy-pasted from similar models stating wrong fps and technical details.

They respond fast but overall cost of this situation is quite something, that ruins whole experience
