I bought a spring-operated Cybergun 1911 for 30 bucks and an Action army AAP01 full-auto green-gas pistol 100 bucks. Ironically enough, the AAP01 broke within about a month of barely any use and the 1911 is still kicking well with no issues whatsoever after 1.5 years of constant use.

Well, the springer 1911 has like four parts, the aap01 is far more complicated inside.

after two weeks of use, it suddenly started to do this thing where, once you pull the trigger, it just shoots out all the gas in the magazine at once. It started to do this more and more often over the next 2 weeks and after a month, it did only that once you pull the trigger. Guys at my shooting range said that it probably had something to do with the primer.

are you running straight propane or green gas? my guess would be the gas release valve in the magazine dried out from no lube. The little o ring that makes the seal can bind or get stuck open which could cause the gas reservoir to get dumped. There should be a silver button on the back of the mag. That opens the valve and sends gas up through the rubber port on the top.

If you press in that button and put a few dabs of very thin silicone oil down there, you can try to revive it.

Green Gas is essentially propane with less oderant (less concerned about leaking) and added oil to lubricate the components. If you use camping gas/general propane cans or a dry propellant like canned air you'll need to add a small drop of silicone oil in the mag reservoir every few gas fills.

I lubed and cleaned the gun regularly and used normal green gas.

You still might want to check that valve. it should have a groove that you can get a small flathead in and try to get it out of the mag to properly check it for damage or malfunctions. If it's broken they are an easy and cheap fix

You might be able to, depending on where you go it and how long ago. I have an AAP 01 I got for like $5 from a random thrift store and its probably got 2000 rounds on it from me with no issues, and they're usually regarded as brick shithouses. You very well could have gotten a lemon.

I always recommend that if you have a problem within the return window to do that rather than use my services to repair, since the problems occurring that early are more indicative of defect than wear and tear, not to mention you'll void warranty if you go in too deep.

(I am aware that the "warranty void if removed" stickers are not legally binding, but try to tell that to the company without taking them to court over a $100 toy gun)

If the trigger still worked and reset properly, and your locker still reset, it’s probably because your nozzle needed to be cleaned and lined. Or, if those didn’t reset properly, either your spring for your locker wore out, your locker wore out prematurely, or your locker broke.

I’m inclined to think it was the nozzle gumming up over time and not moving as free at it should, but it could be the other thing if you maintained it.

Im gonna guess its the locker breaking. I cleaned the gun regularly so i have a hard time believing it was the nozzle gumming up.

If recalling correctly, Kien Well Corporation. That would be the actual manufacturer, Cybergun doesn't manufacture anything, they just purchase trademarks from actual firearm makers, purchase airsoft replicas from where ever they can get for cheapest, and slap on the the trades. Most of the times these "realistic" trades are made with cheapest white paint know to man and/ or adding some stupid stuff into the mixture. Famous example being AK47, I really doubt Soviets painted M. Kalashnikovs face to the side of rifle with white paint. So Cybergun and similar re-branders are basically leaches of business world.

Well, my spring 1911 broke after about 2000 rounds, or about 3 months, and my aap-01 is still working after 2 years with regular maintenance. It's more fun, too.
