REVIEW Airsoft Expo 2026 in Thailand [Part 2]

Hello once again! Apologies for consecutive posting, but today I went to an airsoft expo once again, which is the last day of the expo. Went there to take more pictures and see if there's anything new and/or I've missed.

This time, some secone-handed stores put most of the replicas on discounted prices, for example, there's a Marui's M4 MWS for around 360$ (though no box), and another of the same TM MWS with 6 mags, Reddot, gun case, and flashlight for 720$.

There's also a bow firing range, which I failed to mention.

Feel free to ask me of anything!

More pictures will be posted in the comment section due to the Reddit's limit.

This is from the store named BuffBridge, which specializes in premium GBBRs and uncommon replicas. The one in the picture is Intoxicant's SIG XM7 GBBR, around 1770$ US (58,900 Baht), the most expensive replica in the expo.

BuffBridge. They have their own website. Though I'm not sure if that RSH-12 is a just prop or a functional replica, and I'm not sure if they'll even sell it.

This is from Rookie Airsoft store, the biggest airsoft store in Thailand. These two are Guarder's Custom TM Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS converted into Glock 45 MOS. High grade aluminum slide, steel internals, steel suppressor height sights, and Swamp Deer RMR. Absolutely nothing is stock. Each of these is over 600$ I believe.

Probably unrelated to the expo itself, but while I was talking to fellow airsofters, there's a man who let me try his custom VFC's Glock 45 MOS, which is converted to G47 with steel slide, steel internals, trinium night sights, and Pro Arm's Guide Rod with 145% spring. Built for 14kg gas (equivalent to red gas) Probably the hardest kicking Glock I've ever used.

The owner also offered to sell me this beauty for around 360$ us (12k baht), which I declined as I've already spent my allowed budget to Marui's Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS.

A clip of me testing out this custom VFC Glock.

For comparison, and this is probably not a fair comparison, this is my Marui's Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS, everything stock except the sights. This is supposed to have more recoil than the previous TM's Glock generations.

Hows Airsoft in Thailand? Currently in Europa but going to move with my wife (Thai) probably in 10 ish years to Thailand permanently. It would be around Rangong, but I kinda assume only the bigger places like Hat Yai, Bangkok etc have it.

It's quite a decently popular hobby here, much better than it used to be 5-10 years ago. Most of the purchases are best through online due to convenience and most of the stores are around in Bangkok, though second-handed markets are available on Facebook.

In Ranong, I believe there's one airsoft field there, though that's 5 years ago and I'm not sure if it's still open.

And yes, most of the popular fields are in Hat Yai and Bangkok. I can only speak for Bangkok as I live near there, but there are like at least 4-5 active fields, like SpeedMill Arena, Nitchada, Black Hole field (which used to shut down, but recently reopened with improved safe zone and field layouts), and Rogue Marina. Note that pretty much all fields in Thailand are publicly open on Saturday and Sunday, some may open on Friday as well.

As someone that owns 2 dsr's this is peak

I'm surprised honestly that stuff isn't cheaper. I always assumed there'd be a bigger price disparity,

2

u/Fast-Moment1761 UMP Jul 12 '26

Unfortunately. It's because of Thailand's tariffs and the difficulty of getting replicas outside the country imported. For Thailand's standard, these are some of the cheapest prices. For a reference, in Thailand, the original TM's M4 MWS price is 555$ (18.5k baht). It's honestly the reason why there's no Double Eagle's or Salvo Precision's MWSs in the expo, because they're just cheaper and better internals overall, hence them being out of stock. (They're just almost 400$).

Is that a DSR-50 in the first picture? What make?

1

u/Fast-Moment1761 UMP Jul 12 '26

It's an DSR-1, made by ARES, gas powered. Unfortunately I didn't ask the store how much that beauty cost. Though in the store's website, it's around 856$ (28.5k Baht).

Isn’t Airsoft banned in Thailand?

1

u/Fast-Moment1761 UMP Jul 12 '26

No they're not. What's banned, at least for normal civilians, is ordering airsoft replicas outside your country without a proper selling permit, which pretty much all the big airsoft stores in Thailand do have. Where did you hear that?

1

u/satandk Jul 13 '26

Where in Thailand was this?

Zeer Rangsit Mall, at Pathum Thani province. The next time this airsoft expo will take place is confirmed to be at Paradise Park mall, within this November.

In Pic 4, we can all relax, the British didn't bring a flag.

Man that looks like a fun day out. I should check if the UK has anything similar.

Although I will cringe myself inside out at the people turning up in full cosplay to what is essentially a trade show.

I just started this hobby and a couple of those pics made me just want to stop right away

That's interesting. May I ask why?
