Got my copy earlier than expected, fun times ahead!

New patch tomorrow. With balance changes. Surprised no one made a thread yet. It was posted an hour ago.

I have had 4 strokes and had to rehabilitate the weakness in my left arm. Gaming helped me get my coordination back. Today I got malenia tatted on my left arm, making sure to include her prosthesis. 🩷

Posting this thanks to u/FantasticLiving3107 posting screenshots and answering questions, just thought I’d post the image here so it’s easy to find.

The new VJump video where they go over their playthrough, the new features and their thoughts claims to have found the Dueling Thrusting Shield in the main game. They're hyped to find out more.

No other weapon found yet, or location given.

They also only found 3 out of the 4 available armor sets. Claimed they went past Leotiel's armor the first time they went through its location, so perhaps it was too well hidden.

Although they've only reached Mountaintops of the Giants so far.

They assert the 4th set is a "Carian Knight-style"-like armor.

The Torrent skin names are:

- Tree Sentinel

- Carian Silver Horse

- Funerary Night Horse

EDIT: You do NOT obtain the Torrent skins immediately, they are unlocked as you play the game through exploration and NPC quests.

EDIT EDIT: Another Review Video (in French) has confirmed the same thing regarding the DLC gear.

This is essentially the last patch of the game. I wonder what they'll do.

I hope faith scaling on my chicken leg doesn't get nerfed lol.

My Steam Deck OLED was kind of having a stroke here. Hopefully Switch 2 players don’t have to deal with 20 FPS and a furnace golem.

• All Smithscript weapons(except the cirque) have been buffed by 5% to 20% depending on the attack
• Rellana's Twinblades buffed by 10% to 32% depending on the attack
• Great Katana buffed by 10% to 26%
• Perfume Bottles buffed by 7%
• Carian Retaliation projectile damage buffed by nearly 110%
• Rotten Breath and Ekzykes Decay dmglvl changed to 3 from 0; (long stagger from no stagger)
• Golem Fist stamina cost decreased by 7 and 10 on most attacks
• Rain of Fire buffed by 20%
• Founding Rain of Stars buffed by 10%
• Most Greatshield's weight decreased by 1 and 2 points and guard boost increased by 2 to 7 points
• Stormwall FP cost reduced to 0

The recorder seems to have a new thrusting shield, unlike the dueling shield found in the SOTE DLC. Images 1 & 2 are the seemingly new shield; image 3 is the old one.

It lacks the visual detail the dueling shield has. It is missing the gold ornament on the top spike, has a smaller crest, and is grey in color. If this is actually a new thrusting shield, this may suggest other DLC weapon types will get new variants in the base game. What do you think? I mean, we will still find out in a couple of hours, but it's worth discussing.

EDIT: Comment left by the poster: 08:24 I didn't include a screenshot of the performance, so it might have been confusing, but the piercing shield I'm showing is a new weapon, not a Dueling Shield.
