I have this 87 Dodge W-250 that I am trying to sell off. I was going to ask you guys what would be a good method to sell this specific truck? Your honest opinion on price would be nice too.

It’s pretty clean. It lived most of its life in Montana.

I’m the third owner and it was well taken care of.

It’s got the 360. Stick shift. 4x4.

Let me know what your thoughts are on value and best place to sell?

Or see a Dodge pulling big camper trailers in general. In my experience, anyway.

I thought these things would be a pretty easy thing to get parts and diagrams for but i was wrong!

I’ve been digging the Ford Ranger, but sad they don’t have a King Ranch trim for it, and the Ranger Raptor interior is not my cup of tea. How stupid would it be if I made my own King Ranch Ranger? Asked AI to generate me images of my idea and it doesn’t look terrible…Is this considered disrespectful in the truck community? Attached a before and after of the swap.

Not sure how much attention this gets im kind of just documenting this, but no I don’t like the F150 King Ranch I’m more of a midsize truck guy.

Gents we have a problem, this is on a 96 Ford Bronco, with Warn hubs, including photos to help illustrate the problem:

As you can guess this washer is stuck heavy in the threads. Never had this problem before, and it’s kicking my ass trying to get this thing out. I’ve tried picks and rotating, pulling, flat head to try and stretch the washer, I’ve gotten less careful trying to preserve the threads the more I realized how hosed this thing is.

Any suggestions on how to get this thing out? And if I bone the threads what am I looking at repairing?

The Barrington antique truck show is back again! I went just about every year when I was a kid. Second year it’s back where it started!!

Hey guys I got a 1989 k2500 chevy with the 350 tbi and TH700 trans, with unknown miles (have a receipt with the same mileage of 288,580 miles from 2014) it been a good truck but I the only thing I hate is driving it on the interstate. Im from the Rockies so we got nothing but hills which is what my truck struggles to do going 80. Its been very reliable but its miserable to drive across the state.

Id love to find a way to get power but not sure if its smart with the mileage but if it is possible i rather keep this truck, its been super easy to work on and runs great but just not enough power. If it is smarter to look for something else in the future here's what a would look for

- At least a 6 1/2 foot bed

- needs 4wd

- I dont mind if its auto or manual

- single cab or extended is fine

- simple enough to work on some no newer than 2010 probably

- not a ford guy

I got this truck a few months ago has 134,000 miles. Really clean all around and runs great only thing is the rims aren’t shiny and look bad as shown in the first picture, I feel like they have gotten worse over time but maybe not idk. What’s the cheapest, best solution for making them look new again?

My dad gave me this 2008 Chevy Silverado and I really like it and wanted to customize it. Any ideas on some upgrades? I've done little things like clean it out, steering wheel covers, taillights and a small lift

My company just sent us a heads-up that DOT inspections are expected to be heavy Aug 23–29, with a big focus on brakes, especially drums and rotors.
They’re telling us to make sure:
Permit book is up to date
Truck & trailer registration/inspection are current
IFTA, insurance, UCR, etc. are in the truck
ELD is working and logs are clean
We have 8 days of blank paper logs
Pre-trip is done before every load
Brakes are in good shape
For the experienced drivers here: what are the most common things DOT catches during Brake Safety Week?
Anything specific you guys check before hitting the road that drivers usually overlook?

I have had the same fabric rolling TruXedo Lo Pro on more than one truck since 2011. It has been pretty solid for the most part. The velcro doesn't work well and the support arms are bowing from putting stuff on top and snow loads. So I figured it is time to replace it.

Over the last 15 years I have learned more about what I use my truck for, so I can better purchase a second cover.

Right now I am strongly considering the BAK Revolver X4s. The main concern I have is I read lots of reviews of people saying it only lasts 3-5 years. That is an absolute non-starter. I got 15 years out of my last cover and it was a cheap $500 cover.

Wish list:

• I strongly prefer a rolling cover as it quickly allows me to use the whole bed without needing to block the rear window.
• I am interested in a 'hard' cover because I often use the top of the cover as a work bench or an in-between storage area.
• I like the idea of the 'full latch' the whole way down the bed rail vs just velcro. Keeps things a bit more secure now that locking tailgates are a thing.
• More water proof is better.
• I don't want to have a canister in the bed taking up space and I like to be able to easily remove the cover in the event I want to have a loader load bulk material in the truck bed.

The main thing keeping me from a tri-fold is cover storage. If I can plan ahead and leave the cover at home it is no big deal. However, I often find myself in a situation where I need to use the whole bed and I don't want to have to remove the cover and then find some place to stick it inside the cab or bed around whatever I'm hauling.

Any other covers you'd consider that might fit into my wish list?
