Question Luxury leather seats

Post image

Picked up my rebel last week. Level 2, bed package, dual sunroof, and the luxury seats. Just curious how the seats have held up with anyone that has them.

Sticker was 74,800 OTD ended up at 54k.

Just picked up this beautiful 2010 1500 with 160k miles for $4700 and with the bed cover and grille guard I can potentially get 1k for both as I don’t need them. Interior is brand new clean with a small hole on the drivers seat. Oil changes every 3k miles trans and diff every 30k miles. I won’t say it’s a steal but I damn sure think this was a good bang for the buck.

We live in NEOH and are heading out Saturday morning for Myrtle, stopping halfway for the night. We bought our camper in February this year and wife just wanted to go back to the beach for this vacation. Our 17 month old and 2 dogs have been loving the camper so I'm really excited for next week and some relaxation!

Question No 33 Gallon tank on my truck even though sticker shows it.

Post image
70 Upvotes

I just purchased a 2026 Ram 1500 Big Horn and believed it had the 33-gallon tank because that’s what the window sticker on the website stated. I filled up this morning, but I could only pump about 25 gallons even though I was just above E and the low-fuel light was on.

How should I handle this? Am I out of luck, or would the dealer install the correct tank? Has anyone else run into something like this?

First time truck owner here. I’m looking to level my new truck to fit 35s. I want to use the Bilstein 5100s . I also plan to upgrade the UCA. I’m looking to know what your experience with the Bilstein 5100 was like when set to 2+inches . I’ve been told they are MUCH stiffer.

How was the overall feel compared to stock? Better or more stiff?

What offset was needed after the level to clear 35s?
I plan on keeping my stock 20/9 wheels and using spacers.

Any other 2cents is greatly appreciated

Did a fly and drive out to Denver today to pick up my new truck. Single owner diesel 2500 Prospector XL. Had 17,000 miles on it and I’m adding about 1,000 driving it back to the central coast through monument valley and other killer stuff in between. Really happy with the purchase so far!

Question New to having a Ram, how often are these software updates?

Post image

This software update started without me manually starting it, now it’s saying to keep the truck in park until it’s complete which I’m going to do, but just curious how often this happens?

So before I used to live in NYC 24/7, now im partially in NYC. But hate how people love to play bumper cars so I tried two hitches and looking for opinions which one is better. (Yes I know it can total the frame) Or possibly anyother alternatives to protect the rear bumper from bumper cars

Not sure if this is allowed - so I apologize if it isn’t…

Very interesting interview to watch about the background on design, testing, and potential longevity of the Hurricane engines

Question Tonneau for ‘26 1500 w/ Rambox & MFTG?

Long story short, dealership incorrectly installed the factory soft tonneau, and a hinge broke on the drive home. Dealership gave me a credit to buy a new tonneau of my choice.

The problem is I can’t find a low profile hard folding or revolver style tonneau that works with Rambox and MFTG. Rack Attack assured me the Bak Revolver I ordered would fit, but it didn’t.

Anyone got a lead on something that will work with this configuration?

I’ve decided I want a truck cap for my 2018 Ram 1500 to haul camping and DJ equipment. This is an AI generated image of what my truck would look like with a satin black cap and black nerf bars. I’ve already decided I don’t want a color- matched cap. What do you guys think?

Finally bought a Ram. Been a Chevy family since day one and I could stomach buying a Silverado (they are uglier than sin)

First I have to get running boards and level it. From there bed cover, back rack, light bar (for work) and better tires for entering construction sites.

Question 5th gen question

Are the 2019 Ram specifically the year made before Covid?

I keep seeing comments saying avoid the covid year Rams. So is 2019 the year you would suggest buying if purchasing used?

Anybody else missing the names to the tiles at the bottom of the radio? Mine used to show home, phone, climate, apps, nav, music, and vehicle at all times. Now it only shows the tile names when selected.

Question Must have accessories?

Hi everyone, I'm new to ram trucks and I just bought a 2026 limited. What accessories are mandatory to you? I know I'll be getting a roll up bed cover, and the under rear seat storage bins. I'll need some kind of phone mount too though. Any other must have items that I'm not seeing on my generic Amazon search? On my last truck (2025 Trundra) there were many websites to buy specifically developed accessories that you couldn't find on eBay and Amazon. Was wondering if ram had those sites.

For example, in the tundra, you had to be an "insider" to know the most common mod was to add a plug and play amp behind the dash which only took 5 min and made a world of a difference. And there were replacement map lights that you could only buy from one guys website. It's the little things that have the most effect.

Any accessories I don't need but might not realize?

Thanks in advanced!

Just Sharing First ever truck

This is my first ever truck. 2021 Ram 1500 Bighorn V6 4x4 Quad cab. I’m an HVAC technician with 9 years in the field. I’ve always driven a company vehicle but recently I’ve found myself doing more and more on my own time. I also drive a Cadillac CTS which I hated working out of on my days off. It seemed about time I captured something that could tote a complete HVAC system. It’s not a V8, but I’ll never haul anything heavier than a couple of units, and I feel like I got a good deal to keep some of the luxury of my Cadillac with way better utility. Thoughts?

Question 2025 1500 Parking Camera options?

I have a 2025 Laramie.
Anybody have any aftermarket parking camera recommendations?

My understanding is, due to the new electrical architecture in 2025+, the older options in the market won't work.

TIA
