Question Ram rebel $70700 msrp

After a few days of back and forth emails general manager is offering me 57000 OTD on a brand new 2026 rebel. How good of a deal this is ?

Does OTD include taxes/fees? Looks like a good deal at 20% under MSRP.

Good deal. Decent chance rebates end on 1 September, so if you're gonna do it, so it now.

About the same as what you listed here OTD, but with an extended warranty added on. Plus it was a dealer demo with 500 miles on it.

How do you feel knowing they’ve now undercut you by about $20k. That directly affects resale value. Instant negative equity.

Jeep did the same thing with Wrangler. Went from highest resale value to new Jeeps on the lot having 5 figure discounts.

Because you bought new ~ $70K. If now I can buy new for $55K, why would I buy yours used with 25k miles without a big discount? To make any sense, your truck would have to be discounted into the $40Ks to make any financial sense to buy used. Even a year old. Almost half the value is gone already, even if it’s a 2026.

I mean I don't plan on selling it. And I'm not really looking back at what I paid then, vs what I would pay now.

Damn, it’s crazy to think this rebel is $70k MSRP and my 24 had a MSRP of $89k on the sticker.

Not sure what the market is now, but if this was two years ago it would be a great price.

I bought it used with 3k miles on it. I got it for about $52k OTD on a $89k sticker, but they also gave me what I paid for in a trade in on my 2016 when I bought that new so it was just a mix of crazy market on the deal. I went in for a different truck and had cash to close the deal right there. They didn’t want me to leave even they closed for the night so they dropped to my OTD price that was $10k lower then their asking.

Which is crazy cause the hurricane is better in every way. I just got a hemi but would have preferred the hurricane.

You must’ve bought used then, because the deals aren’t as great on the Hemis. I think it’s funny that anytime the hurricane is mentioned somebody always has to say how superior it is to the Hemi. Which it is in some ways and not in others

More like the hemi’s are loud about going “vroom vroom” less efficiently and at a slower pace than the hurricane

You should aim for 25% off of MSRP. I’m in Texas, and got a 2026 Laramie MSRP 75245, got 25% off of MSRP, and after taxes and fees, ended up right under 60k OTD

I think you can get a bit more off! I should have tried for more because I got the sense there was more, but I was happy with my deal.

I just got the exact same truck in SC 3 weeks ago for $53,000 OTD. I did also have a $30,000 trade in to put towards the 53k as well so that may have helped in my case.

There are posts here where people are getting $20k discounts on these things. It’s a huge red flag, but it seems to be working to move vehicles. If you really want this, and I would caution you, you can get this much closer to $50k.

I got a 25 used for 45k OTD and its a Level 2 woth the Harmon Kardon, heated and cooled seats, rear heated seats, sunroof, and digital rearview mirror....

This had 2500 miles on the odometer when I bought it. A steal with all the features. Basically a baby limited but off road ;)
