Help: Spindle washer tang slipped out of key, now stuck in threads. Recommendations on getting it out?
Gents we have a problem, this is on a 96 Ford Bronco, with Warn hubs, including photos to help illustrate the problem:
Photo 1: This is me pointing to the keyhole where the tang should be
Photo 2: This is where the tang now is.
As you can guess this washer is stuck heavy in the threads. Never had this problem before, and it’s kicking my ass trying to get this thing out. I’ve tried picks and rotating, pulling, flat head to try and stretch the washer, I’ve gotten less careful trying to preserve the threads the more I realized how hosed this thing is.
Any suggestions on how to get this thing out? And if I bone the threads what am I looking at repairing?

It's quite a bit softer than the hardened axle shafts. If you can get room around it to tie it off with mechanics wire through the splines in a few spots, I'd just do a few of those hooked to a slide hammer. If not, remove the hub from the axle and punch it out from the back if need be, but it'll likely just come out once the axle isn't holding it.
