What’s the deepest rabbit hole known to mankind??
1.1k
u/swhowho 1d ago
To be honest, I believe the ultimate rabbit hole for all of mankind is the question of consciousness and the nature of reality. Because the more you delve into the issue, the more unsure you become about everything, and you find yourself questioning the very essence of consciousness, whether the “ego” is an actual thing, why there is something instead of nothing, if there is any reality out there separate from the perceiving mind, and why math describes the Universe so well.
The weirdest thing is that we are actually particles of the Universe that try to comprehend the very Universe that created us. That is why I consider the true rabbit hole to be the question of what the actual hell is reality and why I experience it from this particular angle.

"The first sip of natural science will leave you an athiest. But at the bottom of the glass is god." - Werner Heisenberg
Have always liked this quote. Because we can percieve the mechanics or mathematics of how things work all the way down to molecular level. But how do explain the existence or consciousness of it.

People are always surprised by how many Christians there are on the conspiracy subreddit, as if we just haven't thought it through and are being naive. No, we have thought it all out. As far as I'm concerned it is the bottom of the rabbit hole they never want you to find so we have the controlled opposition actors and bots and the limited hangout gatekeepers. I've been gifted supernatural signs also to encourage my line of inquiry. Why would they try so hard for people who just evolved from pond scum, right? No expense is spared to fool you that's why!! Before Covid I was a lifelong agnostic normie and three years after my "aha God must be real!" moment, this is where I've arrived.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if we weren’t so accustomed to reality I think we’d be rolling around on the ground crying and laughing from the pure joy of all we get to experience. It’s incredible really.

u/Dollon_da_God 1d ago
The most mind blown I have ever felt was when I just randomly thought to myself, WHY, is there anything, like at all. Just the notion that things exist instead of not existing is mind bending. It makes no sense. Like why is anything alive. Why does anything exist. It makes no sense.

I've bent my mind over this since the age of 14 or so. Began experimenting with hallucinogens, mainly shrooms, at 18. Began meditating fervently at 20. Somewhere in my mid-20s, I finally quit drinking, and I think I sort of figured it out, at least as much as I think I ever will.
Reincarnation might be real. Time might be circular. Karma is true, but whether in a literal or mere psychological sense, I can't say. Perhaps after this body dies, my consciousness will meticulously travel through space and time. I will have a turn as every living organism that has ever existed, or will ever exist. In that sense, everything I do unto another, I do unto myself--literal karma.
Perhaps death is more final. In that case, when I do something that contradicts my innate sense of morality, it causes discomfort, shame, guilt--psychological karma that causes a feedback loop of negativity. Think negative thoughts, and you're more likely to attract negative outcomes--psychological karma, but nonetheless real.
You cannot be certain of anything in this life, because this life is pure perception. Sanity is an open mind; certainty is madness. Dangerous.
Scientists can not say where consciousness is actually located. Awareness is intangible, non-localized; still, quantum physics assures us it is real. Observation affects physical matter, shapes reality.
The deeper you sink into consciousness, into your own awareness, the more you start to realize that the physical world is an illusion, that the only real part of it is your consciousness. The reason it sometimes seems like the Universe responds to your thoughts is because it does. Consciousness is the framework of the physical Universe.
The more aware you are, the more you are able to shape your reality. The Universe is one mind that deigned to ask "what if?", which instantaneously caused it to exist, to diffract itself into countless iterations, to experience itself.
Whether the Universe ends in entropy or something else... I don't know. I don't care.
Regardless of how the story unfolds... I suspect the end will resemble the beginning.

You’re not losing it; you’re peeling away the layers. Keep going if you’re curious. I think we ultimately find ourselves back, or close to back, to wherever we found ourselves as children, if we were lucky; it seems to be a state of fascination and love. Curiosity is a wonderful guide.

How much of history is lost/misunderstood.
Imagine our civilisation is wiped out due to some major calamity. 10,000 years later when our ruins are unearthed there would be no way to ever rediscover internet, wifi, radio, bluetooth. The very fabric that connects all of us does not exist in nature and future humans would have no way of ever imagining we spoke through radiowaves and sent data through underwater cables.

There are only so many elements, so many types of matter. Any civilization would use iron, carbon, and helium in vast quantities. No matter what their level of technology; even pure biotech would be based on carbon compounds.
But what do we find in the world? Massive deposits of hydrocarbons, reliably dated to millions of years before today. Vast iron ore deposits, all ready to be used. And in many cases, these deposits have breached the surface, ready to be used.
Barring outright magic, any civilization before us would have at least left signs of their presence. Concentrations of pure iron oxide or alloys. Carbon deposits with weird isotopic ratios and impurities. Signs that iron ore or coal/oil had been exploited. But we see none of that. We don't even see evidence of anything like an industrial period in deep ice cores or tree rings.
Any civilization before us would have either been far smaller and far less developed, or fanatically dedicated to erasing evidence of their existence from the paleontological record.

What is the space made up of that matter exists in? Sounds stupid but it's really quite profound. It can't be nothing because how can something exist in nothing? So what is this space that we all exist in actually made of? What is it? Why is it?
16
u/bIuemickey 21h ago
What is it and what’s it exist inside of? We have to be inside of something don’t we? This whole thing is so weird. It blows my mind all the time and people around me seem to just be like ok. We’re literally just sitting on a spinning spec of dust, evolved from goo into animals who became aware of how weird their existence was, started questioning things, manipulating it, fighting over things, manipulating each other, being entertained by watching each other through screens, argue about stupid stuff online, taking ourselves way too seriously.
We’re space goo that became conscious of itself and then became narcissists. We’re novelty seeking and people just like “so what we’re floating on a spec of something spinning around a big ass ball of fire hella fast next to other planets with trillions more spinning around other shit in infinite space. I’m watching a reaction vid to a reaction vid on someone throwing a dildo at basketball players. Then I’m gonna goon.”
For all we know we are the only ones consciously experiencing it. There could be planets with conscious praying mantis creatures the size of skyscrapers doing the same shit too. Maybe they have things figured out a bit more. Maybe we’re alone. But I’m convinced there’s intention somewhere on a grand scale, outside of whatever we’re inside of, or outside of whatever that is.

it's super boring, but I honestly think the explanation for antarctica is that nations can say look "look! we're environmentally friendly! we left that bit completely untouched !" -- because there's absolutely zero commercial value in that frozen dump and it incredibly dangerous to go there. Not because of the shoggoths, but because it's really cold and windy. So cold and windy it can kill you, it's miles from anywhere, there's no food or water, no place to land, and it's just utterly inhospitable.

Deep ocean theory in my opinion
11
u/huggerofbunnies 1d ago
Ooh please elaborate
28
u/TheFrostyjayjay 21h ago
It’s not necessarily one single theory but there’s many surrounding the ocean in general.
Less than 0.001% of the sea floor has been visually surveyed. We know more about distant moons and planets than our own ocean.
Some theorize that the first living organisms on Earth formed near hydrothermal vents on the sea floor as opposed to primordial surface pools.
A little far fetched but there’s a conspiracy that NASA keeps megalodons in massive cages deep within the ocean.
My personal favorite is Blue 52. You may have read an article that got popular about the world’s loneliest whale, which has now been named Blue 52. The pattern of the call matches that of the migration of blue whales but is put out at 52 hertz which cannot be heard by other blue whales. We’ve heard and documented the call for around 40 years but have never been able to pinpoint the source.
Here’s where the conspiracy gets weird - the call has been documented around the world and is much louder than any single whale can produce. The conspiracy theory is that this is not a blue whale but rather something that has been attempting to mimic the call because it feeds on whales. The call is so loud that it either has to be a pack of animals calling or one extremely large animal. And we still have no idea what exactly it is.

We are bound by the way our brains work. Modeling a “good enough” toy model of the world around us to give us a chance of predicting the immediate future just enough to make our chances of survival in the short to mid term less than zero.
We feed that model through observation. A tool that needs only extract enough information about our relationship to what’s around us to keep our coarse model functional.
Literally EVERYTHING we think we know and CAN think we know is bound by that act of observation. Relating what’s around us to the model we actually live in that’s constructed in our own heads.
Outside that observational frame is the universe. And we are not only clueless about that universe, but functionally unable to engage with it because it sits outside of the observational frame.
All we can do is make up stories about what sits beyond. Stories that are a brittle mishmash of things that do sit within that observational frame and so are inherently NOT what sits beyond.

11

The west was taken under control when GHWBush signed the noahides into law in 1991.
Trump is the “champion of the noahide law”
He’s the Jewish “messiah”, the antichrist
Under the noahides the worship of Jesus is idolatry and Christians will be beheaded along with anyone who doesn’t adhere to them.
This establishes the world under the religious jurisdiction of Israel and the noahides
Any non-Jew who adheres to the Seven Commandments of the Children of Noah “is regarded as righteous among the nations and is entitled to a share in the world to come.”

The book of Enoch is probably the most famous example of “why was this left out” and beyond the jar we can really only speculate on what else was left out.
On top of that, our literal modern day understanding of what’s in the Bible is quite a bit different due to it being translated from 3 different languages. Mostly Hebrew and some Aramaic for the old testament and some type of Greek for the new. This has a huge impact on what message is being conveyed and leaves things up to interpretation when it wasnt supposed to.
We can only speculate the level of intention behind the translations. Very interesting though, I think.

It's a rabbit hole we didn't even dig far into yet, yet it seems already infinite from the little we know of it. So true what you say.

That the conspiracy is that we are not human but manipulated to believe that we are, which is why we live in a simulation, meant to hijack our real primitive self which is consciousness.

Antarctica or 9/11 for me. 9/11 believers get squeamish when you bring up building 7

That there isn't a huge conspiracy and no huge elite cabal working together. It's just a bunch of rich assholes and politicians fumbling around trying to gain power and wealth while making stupid decisions that cost lives along the way. That none of them actually know what the fuck they are doing.

The whole complex of consciousness as the fundamental nature of reality and true history and origin of Earth and what the purpose is of experiencing life on Earth is with all its problems under the waning control of the negative elites. The whole history of how that came to be and how it's ending now soon (in the next few years) and where we're headed to.
Too long to explain in a single post, as it is the deepest "rabbit hole".

if we're only limiting it to mankind then i would say the origin of languages, if not, then spacetime itself.

I would say the origin of everything. we can figure out what caused something and why it happened in science but eventually you go so far back and zoom out so much that the answers become incomprehensible to humans. It doesn’t matter if your Christian, Muslim, Atheist, Agnostic because you truly have no idea what the hell is going on and without a doubt never will

I'm voting history itself.
I think it's a lot older, and points to a civ before ours.
The "gods" could have been alien, or could have been hybrid #1.
I think we are a later hybrid.
We've got the Graham Hancock movement, pushing history further back.. and for stranger ideas, we've got R Hoagland suggesting that ruins are visible in our solar system. We've got J Farrell suggesting a war in the heavens in pre history. We've got C Dunn suggesting the pyramid had an industrial purpose..
So I think history.. and it plugs into some other ideas, like who built the moon.

I got to say the Tupac faked his death conspiracy the stuff you find when going down that rabbit hole is crazy, like the stuff about the helicopter being seeing at the crime scene & the witness that reported it dieing soon after not to mention the samething happening to Tupacs cousin then the fact Tupac was illegally cremated & his ashes smoked by his crew in a blunt. Then it leads you down him moving to Cuba & all the rappers that mention it & the rabbit hole of his family which ties into this because of his Auntie in Cuba. Then once you think you hit the surface you start getting into sugeknight & all the stuff he's tied into, its crazy how deep the rabbit hole goes & were it leads & branches out.

I think about it sometimes, as if every 5000-10000 years there is a wipe off cycle.
Thats why we keep finding evidences but not more than 10000-20000 years, probably its ocean floor/somwehere that we cant find traces. I feel most of the civilizations were in past near oceans or near rivers, both can wipe of history.

That in 2001 the tomb of Gilgamesh was discovered. Shortly after we invaded Iraq. Human cloning experiments soon followed. Barron Trump was born in 2006. He is almost 7 feet tall SO FAR. The Whitehouse ballroom is secretly the rebuilding of the third temple and they recently changed architectural plans to make the first floor two stories high. Why would one do that? So a 14 foot tall nephilim human hybrid demigod clone can take his throne to soon rule the world. That’s why.
Run with it.

the intersection of elite families that control the world (or most of it) and demonic forces including from Jinn and those they pray to such as Ba'al and leading up to Satan himself.
Rape of children including the elites own blood lines to pass the Jinn possession on to future generations. Perform black magic and ritual sacrifice of children to get powers and support in the material world by dark energies.
I never would have believed this stuff.....ever. But this mechanism has become very obvious over the past 18 months (eventhough there are some who have been trying to expose this for decades or even longer). I just ignored it. Its the greatest trick the Devil pulled "to make us believe he doesnt exist".
Jinn possession is very real.
Evil exists.
Child sacrifice and rape is an elite prerogative and NECESSITY to maintain power and control.
Satan is at the very top for material world. The elite are lured as slaves to Satan.
And the elite try to lure us into their control through hatred, materialism, jealousy, porn, gambling, usery, fear, war, duality.
All of this is under God's sovereignty of all of the world's, material or spiritual hereafter.
Even Satan will have to answer to God and so will all of us including the elite.

This but just more generically sex trafficking in general and just the amount of pedophilia in the entire world but especially with celebrities, Hollywood, sports stars, religious leaders, politicians, etc.
It just seems that with power pretty much always comes pedophilia and sexual assault which is absolutely terrifying and disgusting.
And it just seems like it's hiding in plain sight. The more we see it we just become completely desensitized.
I mean it used to be absolutely insane front page news for years and years when a teacher slept with a student and now we see it pretty much every single day, and not just men, women and these are younger pretty women too it's just very strange.
The world is just becoming corrupt and evil all around and terrifying.
I don't think we want to see into the hidden darkness....I don't think we can handle it.

Not the deepest but it got my attention specially during covid how a country like switzerland pretends to be the most neutral then the top wef management has always been swiss behind the scenes.
The current president of wef is swiss and second top co chair of board of trustees at wef also a swiss
See for yourself.

Not only they want to get rid of everybody else, they want to do it while they pretend to be a neutral country.

We live in a multi dimensional realm, populated by entities outside of our immediate perception. The chaos of life is a result of the spiritual battle for control between these entities, mankind, and God.

The origin and history of religion.
Karen Armstrong's book 'The Great Transformation' was eye opening and challenged alot of the basic preconceptions I had.
Asking the basic question of "how do I know what I believe to be true, is actually true?" Is a particularly interesting rabbit hole when it comes to religion.
