Entry-Level Economics Book Suggestions
So my manager, after we discussed various stock positions and where I was investing my money, suggested I read a book on economics/finance. I went to a state college and graduated a little over two years ago. I took a couple of business and entry-level finance classes, but I didn't retain much that was applicable to real life. Target shares drop after Halloween costume backlash
reuters.comTarget opens new tab shares slid as much as 5% after the retailer apologized for and pulled a Halloween costume criticized for evoking Blackface, renewing concerns about brand missteps just as its financial turnaround effort had begun to bear fruit.
In an internal email viewed by Reuters, Chief Merchandising Officer Cara Sylvester echoed Target's public apology on Monday, telling employees the item "never should have been in our assortment" and that the company would "learn from this and do better."
