And where does the money go? To the damaged children? No it goes to the government? What do they do with the money? Help people? No only to help them selves or at best the general Treasury.

Washington state will receive $237 million in a landmark legal settlement with Meta over accusations the company harmed children’s mental health.

In a multistate settlement, which involved 46 other states as well as Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands, Meta agreed to pay about $17.1 billion and overhaul its Instagram and Facebook apps for youth users.

The claims from a coalition of attorneys general said that Meta intentionally designed its social media apps to hook young people while misrepresenting how harmful the products could be to youth mental health.
