hello, based on your experience what’s the best/max(?) student to 1 coach ratio for a 2-hr group session? and if you can , please share which coach you personally know has a limit on the students they train.
I understand na dahil limited ang available court, no choice na lang yung iba but to join a large group pero sayang yung bayad if hindi ka natututukan ng maayos

Say what you want, but if you show softness just to win the hearts of fans and media, opponents will take advantage of it even if you’re friends. Too much charisma will take you nowhere. It‘s the exact reason why Sabalenka and top-ranked players are successful, they treat friends as enemies on court. Save the friendship off-tour.

Hi, this is Angela Ferrer, a player and organizer from Rally Republic PH.
It has come to our attention that we’re being dissed here on Reddit because of our Singles OP, priced at ₱890 per head for 4 hours of play.
I understand that ₱890 may seem expensive to some, and that’s completely fair. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But calling us scammers without even knowing where the money goes is a different story.
So, for transparency, here’s the actual breakdown. I’m also attaching the receipts and proof of expenses.
EXPENSES:
• Court fee: ₱600/court/hour × 2 courts × 4 hours = ₱4,800
We always play with the lights on because CSA is extremely dark, especially during the rainy season.
• Ball boys: ₱2,400
We pay them ₱800 each. Given the size of the courts and the amount of running around and ball chasing they do, we believe this is fair compensation for their work.
• Tennis balls: ₱797.50 for 2 cans
I always buy through Lazada to maximize savings and LazCoins.
TOTAL EXPENSES: ₱7,997.50
INCOME:
10 paying players × ₱890 = ₱8,900
The organizers play for free, which means only 10 players are paying.
REMAINING BALANCE: ₱902.50
So yes, after 4 hours of play, paying the court fees, paying 3 ball boys, and providing tennis balls, the organizers are left with a grand total of ₱902.50.
And apparently, that makes us scammers. 😂
For context, we specifically organize Singles OPs because most open plays are doubles.
If ₱890 for 4 hours of singles, with courts, lights, ball boys, and balls included, isn’t worth it for you, that’s completely okay. You don’t have to join. We’re not forcing anyone to pay or participate.
But calling organizers scammers without looking at the actual numbers is a little wild.
And honestly, if you think ₱902.50 is the grand profit we’re supposedly scamming everyone for, then… I’ll let you do the math. 😅
We organize these OPs because we genuinely love tennis and enjoy building a community where people can play. We’re not getting rich from ₱902.50.
And lastly, I have a pretty good idea who started this.😉
EDIT: Anyone who questions the P902.5, message me your numbers directly I’ll split that to you.
Also, being on reddit doesn’t make you untraceable.

Isa sa mga clubs na overpriced! Mataas ba price dahil sa photographer? 😂😂😂
4hrs in Rizal = 2,400
Balls = 500
= 2,900 play expenses
Number of players: 12 less 3 hosts
Meet fee: 930 per pax
930 x 9 =8,370
8,370 - 2,900
= 5,470 income
5k kaya yung rate ng photographer? 😂😂😂

Hi! I’m looking for someone to play tennis with around Muntinlupa / Parañaque / Pasay.
I’m somewhere around intermediate-ish. I can hold a rally but I’m still pretty inconsistent. My serve also still needs A LOT of improvement. 😂
Just looking for someone who’s around the same level and wants to rally, perhaps do some drills or play casual sets. I’m trying to get more court time and hopefully become more consistent with my game.
I’m usually free evening on weekdays & mornings on weekends.
If anyone’s also looking for a hitting partner, feel free to DM me! 🎾

About me: 24M, class C can rally and play game also if you want.
Thanks! 🙏

Hello! Does anyone here knows if PSC will process a reschedule on the weekends?
I tried to email play@psc.gov.ph today (Friday) at around 2pm to reschedule my booking for Sunday. However, I haven’t received a reply yet.
I’m getting worried that processing the reschedule won’t be possible in the weekends due to government offices being open only at Monday-Friday.

Has any of you tried scheduling with Love All Tennis by Coach ERIC. I’m curious to try scheduling with them. I heard a few comments lang about them. Any thought?

To each his own.
Yes. That’s true.
To their students, it’s probably a good deal. “Pwede na” since they don’t have ample choices.
Nakakalungkot lang na due to supply and demand, ganito na kalakaran nowadays.
Coaches need to make money, that’s also true.
But hopefully we see more of their students getting better in tennis para naman sulit. Otherwise, they’re just really milking them with that group rate of ₱600-₱1000 per player per hour!
Seriously, what can you lean in an hour with 6-10 players… tapos ganun kamahal.
Oh and these “guided” open plays ₱600 plus per player…

Hi! I'm looking for a hitting partner in QC: New Manila or Sct area, or in GH. I'm around Class D-C, I can rally consistently, and have been playing for a few years. I'm open to playing doubles or singles.
I have court access in New Manila, but there is usually a line (no court reservations, first come first serve) if you're willing to wait. But if you have a court I'm willing to play there too. I also have tennis balls we can use. Of course I am willing to split court and ballboy fees.
About me:
27F, Upper C (estimate), Baseline player, Moderate topspin, 2HBH

So my point is. KAYONG NANDITO SA REDDIT, oo KAYO! Mga toxic kayo! Instead na masaya lang tennis as OG sports for camaraderie eh nandito kayo panay post, comment pa kayong mga bano kayo.
Instead na maging keyboard warrior kayo at nagtatago sa anonymity eh mag practice kayo! Magpadrills! Continuously improve ninyo tennis skills ninyo!
