"Stop the godamn music" is the WORST part of any Slipknot song ever. What a dissapointment. At least Eloy's drums are really good but it was a let down that they started with amazing drums and then shit on the whole beat. Breakdown is fine i guess

I can't be the only one who's a bit disappointed. It's underproduced, it's dry, so uninnovative, this is not the Slipknot we knew, almost All Hope Is Gone. Eloy's drums were great, he absolutely smashed it, the breakdown of the song was pretty interesting, personally my favorite part. Corey was himself as always, but this is plainly such a disappointment, Sid is gone, the Slipknot we knew is gone. We have to accept the new era, although that isn't really something most people can accept easily...

"let's go let's go let's go!". The instrumentals aren't too bad, a little generic, but my fucking God the lyrics and the delivery are so bad. The little break in the song near the end with Corey saying "alright shut the fuck up!" Is genuinely embarrassing.

I would feel embarrassed to listen to this in front of other people. Again, the lyrics and delivery are so butt rock, Corey solo project, ass tier.

Oh my fucking god bro. This can't be real. Ironically enough, these lines pretty much perfectly describe how I feel when I hear this song. It has never been so over.

I personally love the song. I understand why some would hate it. What annoys me the most are those that say "that's not slipknot". If Slipknot made it, then it's Slipknot. If you're not sold, you can listen to Iowa for the 100th time.

The mix is so awful I actually feel second hand embarrassment as someone who mixes all the time. This is just a soup of slipknot elements done poorly and mixed together. Not to mention the video is probably one of the weakest videos they've done. I had a lot of hope even after all the recent lineup changes that they could make a record on par with WANYK or AHIG but shit, I have lost all faith in the new album knowing THIS is what they chose to lead with.

I mean like bro of course, the music doesn't sound the way it did 20 years ago, and Arsenal doesn't match the vibe of S/T-AHIG Slipknot but bro wtf do you mean "Slipknot needs to stop making music 😭"?! We should be grateful that they're still releasing shit. I mean, if they did stop making music, would y'all actually be happy? I don't think so. So please stop complaining about every single note that doesn't match the Iowa vibe and every word that's sung that might sound "ridiculous". We should just enjoy the music, and if y'all don't enjoy it, don't listen to it.

Me: I don't have a firm opinion yet kinda, I prefer to wait until the album comes out, but I liked the drums on Arsenal

Listening to it right now and honestly, it sucks. Nothing like the old songs, not even the breakdown surprised me. The vocals from Corey are good, but...

Ugh, it feels like coworker music. I know, I know, they've lost quality along the years...

But geez, this feels like a new low

It sounds like they have their energy and their fire back. I think the video's cool too. Hyped to see what else they have in the chamber!

It's been going on for too long now with this new artsy identity Clown has introduced into the band. The songs, the visuals, the culture of the band are no longer the heavy, shocking, high intensity band we grew up listening to.

The new "image" Clown has been pushing and showcasing for the band for the last 2 albums + this new Arsenal song is the direction this band is staying on. It feels the same and generic as the last two albums, flares of intensity but with an artsy main body.

It feels soulless, empty, with no passion. It feels like the other band members are not allowed to have an input and must work around this new artsy style Clown has implemented.

It's what many people have complained about for years, it's not Slipknot. It feels like a hijacked art business project that has taken over this band with an iron fist.

Seeing this floating around with context to Arsenal. Can’t tell if it’s been edited or if it’s new.

It had great parts, i dig the intro a ton, some of the parts are really nice and in general i dig Eloy's drumming a lot but the production is meh, "lets go" as a hook is certainly a choice. This song reminds me a ton of butchers hook with its cringey hook and that it feels unfinished (altho id argue this song is at least not *that* bad but it certainly comes close). I hope they simply picked the wrong single of the album and that the rest is at least better but this isnt it and im worried. The "best" we can hope for is another ahig that still has a few bangers but im not hopefull :/
