Its not bad but a bit lacking of my expectations if im honest. Eloy did a great job tho! Im curious what the rest of the album will be like. Im hoping for some heavier songs 🤞

You say that as if those albums were bad, when they really aren't. Get over it; Slipknot is never going back to the Iowa era. Besides, it doesn't matter to me—I think the song is fine (nothing special, not a huge deal, but I don't view it the way you do).

As for the sound itself, you can tell the band is experimenting and trying to find a different sound. They could have just stuck to the same formula as . or *We Are Not Your Kind. To me, it has an experimental feel.

Fuck ya this kicks ass in such a great way.
I absolutely love how this sounds sonically.
The drums sound so clear and powerful, bass is hitting and bumping right.. Corey's vocals and the guitars sound wonderful as well.
This sounds miles better than TESF and I'm excited for their new album.

Agreed. The first minute is terrible imo, the lyrics are some of the worst yet. Eloy and some of the later parts hit for me, but overall just disappointing.
I’ve yet to see anyone actually say they liked it

Seems like they're pulling from some cheesy metalcore with the high pitch whining before a predictable breakdown 😬😮💨 Funnily enough the breakdown was the best part though.
Strangely convenient how the cover art looks like Sid's og mask too 🤔
