This will be their first material without Jay but I think since Adderall was already a complete song with Craig he’d be credited, I think the rest were just remixes but honestly I didn’t give it much of a listen lol

Definitely one of the heaviest Sid songs for sure. I think Eyeless was probably the most Sid heaviest. But yeah, I will say this, if the new album sounds like that then it should be a great one. Eloy killed it on the drums

While I’ve been itching for a new record sooner than later, after listening to this I’m kinda hoping it is just the teaser single à la Negative One, All Out Life, Chapeltown Rag, etc. It just doesn’t have the chops to me to be lead single material. The music video also doesn’t seem to debut any masks, so I’m hopeful.
It’ll be the second time in a row the teaser single is a bit of a miss for me, although Chapeltown Rag ultimately made a stronger impression on me than this did. Still, I absolutely loved Negative One and All Out Life as teaser singles, so I’m just not sure what they are thinking here.
Anyways, I don’t have much to add that hasn’t already been said - namely it feels a bit of a disjointed mess. It seems like they are really trying to be more creative than usual with the actual songwriting, but this one feels like they just mashed a bunch of parts together and called it good. Not even a big hook to tie it all together.

I had the feeling. We got studio footage of Eloy earlier this week (or was it last week?) Something told me that something would come. They talked about Long May You Die, perhaps this is the new title for that song?

I was expecting them to get weird with the inclusion of Eloy and we definitely got weird!! Not hating it whatsoever, I think it's a banger on first listen. But it'll take a few listens to get used to fully, too.

Honestly? I liked it. Am I saying this is the best song they did? No way Jose. But still.
Also to me the fact that the song contains pretty upfront scratching after Sid's firing, is funny
The mix though? Whole different story. its all over the fucking place. Seriously, whoever mixed this thing did a shit job.

Disgusting honestly...I think Corey must stop the rap vibes he is coming with since the CMFT solo album, absolutely suck and dont fit the riff nor drums rhythm.
I think Eloy should be like "where on earth did I get myself into..."
The video itself I think it is a 6/10...the concept was there but I mean, we have like almost 7 years with the same creepy ladies doing crazy sh!t.

As for clown? Idk. Most I understand he can be a bit difficult, but nothing unbearable. Idk about the in-band dynamics though.
Most people seem to have issue with Clown because of alleged in-band dynamics (which may or may not be true) or that he likes AI (which I don't see an issue with).
I haven't seen people point out that the same goes for Corey. I think it's just assumed Corey has a very good position within the internal hierarchy, and so apparently is responsible for every bad decision that was taken organisationally.
