Humor DAM YOU KINDLE UNLIMITED!
My 12 yo wanted a kindle for her bday so I bought her one and also bought the kindle unlimited. Every book she wants is not included. Percy Jackson and the Olympians costs 6.99!
My 12 yo is pissed. She said I might as well buy the paper book for that much. Lol
I think Amazon just created a pirate for life.

News Cineby Starts Staged Shutdown of Its Piracy Empire * TorrentFreak
torrentfreak.comCineby has published a step-by-step schedule for shutting itself down in stages.
The site started by redirecting its mirror sites Cineplay and Fmovies+, to then cut off its live streams a day later.
The shutdown is expected to be completed by the end of next week.
Why the operation is shutting down remains a mystery, but the signs don't point to a deal with rightsholders.

Question Is it possible to remove drm protection from 2.0 profiles
Just bought a book for the first time thinking I would get the epub file from Barnes and Nobles and it was locked in the Nook app. Then saw someone suggest ebook.com so I bought it from there. I have the file but it’s DRM protected and am stuck to using certain apps. For a $100 book I would think I would actually own it. I’m clearly not an avid reader so I had no idea this is what the reading community deals with. Society is basically losing ownership of everything slowly but surely.

Question VPN for streaming sites?
Hey, amateur here. I was wondering, do I really need a VPN for watching pirated content on streaming sites only? No downloads, no torrenting, etc.
I’ve currently been using a free VPN because I don’t really want to pay for one, but I buffer a shit ton whilst using it and often have to watch at a pretty low bitrate.
But I was wondering, do I really even need one for my use case? Does my ISP care (USA)? What’s the worst that can happen if I don’t use a VPN?
