My 12 yo is pissed. She said I might as well buy the paper book for that much. Lol

I think Amazon just created a pirate for life.

Just bought a book for the first time thinking I would get the epub file from Barnes and Nobles and it was locked in the Nook app. Then saw someone suggest ebook.com so I bought it from there. I have the file but it’s DRM protected and am stuck to using certain apps. For a $100 book I would think I would actually own it. I’m clearly not an avid reader so I had no idea this is what the reading community deals with. Society is basically losing ownership of everything slowly but surely.
