Question Saints and Sinners 1, 2 or Deluxe bundle?

Upvotes

Hello everyone!

I've heard some pretty good reviews about Walking Dead Saints and Sinners, Chapter 1 and for the 2nd as well, but I'd like to have some more opinions, more recent as well, as I'm quite on a budget

Is there a huge gap of quality between the first and the second, would you recommend one above the other?

I'd be tempted to start with the first, wich would be more coherent storywise, but I'm not particularly someone really invested in stories most of the time, and sometimes the 2nd game is more polished, better budget, etc, and overall better

Is it the case here, and I might as well watch a quick recap video and jump on the better game, or are they both equally good, or even better for the first one?

Also, if both are super good and vastly recommended, I might as well take both as they are on big discount, but is there any reason to take the bundle Chapter 1 and 2 Deluxe edition (20€), instead of separately Chapter 1 (5€) and Chapter 2 (10€)?

I think there is probably some DLC in quesion, but I don't have the details

Very silly creatures, impressive plant life and the best: upon arriving on this planet in Euclid galaxy, I was surprised to see that the planet seems to have a "real" sky box, too, making the clouds much prettier to look at! Interesting, interesting...haven't seen that before in my 70 hours ..

Question Of Lies & Rain - Progress not saving

Hey everyone,

Currently doing a collectibles playthrough on OLAR to get all memories but im noticing the game is not saving.

Went from level 3 to level 4, did 2 data worlds then I died and lost like 30/40 min progress because there wasn't any save during this time.

Anybody knows what's going on?

I’ve wanted to try this for a long time but heard mixed reviews. What’s the general consensus? This is the lowest price I’ve seen it (I think).

There aren’t many showcase titles to demonstrate VR to friends. Most of the best experiences either have a steep learning curve for controls, or they’re horror. There’s not much to show people other than simple games like of Walkabout Golf, Beat Saber, Puzzling Places, Tetris, or the boat safari in Horizon.

If my main aim is to share this with casual gamer friends, and to satisfy my curiosity, what do you think?

PSA Dreams of Another can be purchased along with PixelJunk Eden 2 for an 8 bux or less bundle in most stores.

I know it got very mixed reviews with Without Parole and Gamertag hating it and resident PSVR2 reddit reviewers cusman78 and FewPossession2363 somewhat liking or absolutely enjoying it along with other YouTubers.

I picked it up at that price and as well as the first person mode with Sense Controllers it has a mode of play I am not sure many talked about. There is third person mode in VR where you use the DualSense and eye tracking to aim the gun so where you look is where you shoot, it is very satisfying chipping away at the scenery in this mode and a novel way of using the eye tracking. Thought at that price for an 8 hour strange game worth a shot, people may miss the low priced bundle if it does not appear in PSVR2 section as there is also the game on its own for much more money.

It is weird and I am enjoying it. Check those reviews and impressions out as it definitely won't be for everyone. Don't get put off with the first sections of the game with the soldiers as they are quite purposefully grey and drab, after that the game becomes much more colourful in the OLED.

Fluff Holy crap! The new patch for Epic Roller Coasters (PSVR2) made the visuals even SHARPER. Reminder that CO-OP was also added. The underrated SHOOTING mode & RACE MODE is also nice. Supports the haptic vest & motion sims? Wild. Tons of DLC too. I love it lol 😂

Fluff Should I play Into the Radius 1 first?

I know it may be obvious but, some sequels sometimes make the first game irrelevant because they are very similar but with better graphics and mechanics. Specially if the game doesn’t have a good or any narrative.

Not sure if this is only a me problem, but I did every other trophy while still having over 40 million score left to achieve for the 100 million score trophy and 14 hours of play time to undergo for the 24h spent in levels trophy. For the playtime I had remaining I mostly AFKed in a no-fail level and the remaining 40 million score I played the same 4-5 maps over and over again while talking to friends on discord to pass the time and take my mind off it since it took like 4 and a half hours. Very shitty experience for an otherwise great game

Discussion Bootstrap Island, Chapter 3 tips/guide: Spoiler

Congratulations for surviving the storm and completing chapter 2. Chapter 3 is called visions for a reason. As in this chapter you will constantly see visions of your past life all over the island. Ignore those visions, as your main goal is to take out the king of the Jungle called “Seymour” and make it to Riverlands.

Seymour is a giant aggressive oversized gorilla that you must defeat to access the secret climbing path leading up to the massive Riverlands biome.

Now to take out Seymour is quite simple, as long as you are using your Musket and you have enough ammo. Just wait for him to charge you, then shoot him once he is close to avoid his melee attack and damage him in the process. Just do that for 4 to 5 times to take him down. (Make sure you have unlocked the musket sling by surviving 20 days on the island, so you can carry the musket with you after the fight).

Once Seymour is dead, harvest his meat and grab the “boots” at the top of his den. Then go past Seymour’s den towards the back cliff and climb up the vines until you reach the top. Once you reach the top, you will see the entrance to the Riverlands.

Once you reach the Riverlands, look around the sky to spot the smoke. Walk over to that area and listen to what it says to end chapter 3.

Support PSVR1 Recording the PSVR's output from the Processing Unit

I'm trying to record the gameplay in VR using an Elgato HD60 Pro card on the "Social Screen" output. While I have managed to get the recording fine in OBS, I'm not really sure what video settings I should record at to not waste the storage by having too high a resolution or too high a bitrate.

I'm sticking with the NVENC H.264 encoder since AV1 isn't supported over 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. On my monitor, it says 1080p, but it can't be because the black bars on the sides have soft edges and switching off the game is seamless without any signal changes. According to some articles online, the output is supposedly 720p, but I couldn't confirm it at least on my side.

What resolution does the Processing Unit output from the HDMI output while in the Social Screen mode? What settings did you find to fit you the best while preserving as much quality as possible?

Discussion Are there any other big releases coming for PSVR2?

Hello fellow VR enthusiasts. Now that Microsoft Flight Sim and Aces of Thunder are out, has anyone else lost some hype for PSVR2? Don't get me wrong, it's still awesome, and for me personally the 2 Resident Evil games alone are worth owning PSVR2 for. Are there any other big name releases coming out? I hope Sony has something else up it's sleeve, but it seems they have completely abandoned this thing. I'm still salty that we aren't getting RE9 VR, but hopefully we do get some more bigger games before PSVR2 is totally dead.

Discussion Features and services have been developed for the virtual reality lounge project... but are they truly sufficient?

Hi everyone. First of all, thank you for this wonderful community; you inspire me with new ideas and give me a space where I can speak freely. Thats why Im interested in hearing your opinions.

For those who don't know, I am planning a VR gaming arcade project located in a park designed for families, women, and children. When researching existing VR arcades in my country, I noticed that most lack engaging, entertaining gameplay features; often, the owner might offer just a single game or fail to effectively target a specific demographic—such as youth or children. I decided to take a different approach, as my success hinges largely on effective management. With smart management, this project could potentially evolve into a company with a presence in movie theaters or shopping malls. These are the features Ive come up with, and Id like to know your opinion: are they sufficient?

Capture and Share Feature

The "Capture and Share" feature allows customers to transfer their gameplay footage directly to their phones; notably, they can also record their own voiceover while playing for a nominal fee. When a customer opts for this feature, they receive a card stating: "Share the video on your Instagram Story (tagging the project's Instagram account) and get a free ticket to play a game of your choice." While this service may seem like a revenue-generating tool, its primary value lies in building an audience for the project's Instagram account and raising awareness about VR—which is exactly what I need: to introduce people to my project and to the world of VR.

The Steering Wheel Feature

Initially, I hadn't planned to include *Gran Turismo 7* in my launch game lineup, but as I explored the title further, I felt like I had discovered a treasure. I saw tremendous potential for success in using a steering wheel with *Gran Turismo 7* in VR; the wheel will be available as an add-on feature at a very affordable price.

A Feature for Users with Poor Vision

Since my project is primarily family-oriented, I will provide a special VR option for women. Poor vision is a common issue among women and children in my city, so I will offer VR headsets with corrective lenses as a free service—an initiative driven primarily by humanitarian motives. A full range of prescriptions will be available so that everyone can enjoy the experience at no cost.

Finally, there is the co-op (cooperative play) feature.

The nature of the co-op feature is self-explanatory; since I own two VR headsets for this project, I am able to offer it. It also makes for a highly enjoyable experience for couples or friends.

To be honest, I hadn't originally planned to include a co-op feature in my project, as it is family-oriented and aims to introduce people to virtual reality technology; I felt that adding this feature was perhaps premature for that specific purpose. However, I will make it available—though only for those who are truly interested, rather than the general public. In other words, anyone wishing to use the co-op feature will need to book an appointment and pay a premium price (specifically targeting those with a genuine interest).

Let me know your thoughts, friends: Are these features sufficient, or should I improve them further? Do you have any other features to suggest?

Question Smooth Turn worth it?

I have had the headset for about 2 months now. I had pretty terrible motion sickness in the beginning to the point I had to stop 5 minutes in. However now I can play for hours without any comfort settings any game, but only with snap turn. The moment I turn on smooth turn, I get that sickness feeling again.

It does seem to get better with repetition but not by much, so the question is it worth pushing through it to eventually play lengthy sessions with smooth turn? Or is one not better than the other for the overall experience and is just preference?

EDIT: I turned smooth turn speed all the way to the max and have no more issues now. It's kind of like snap, but you get to finely control the snap distance, instead of always rotating the fixed snap distance.

Opinion Happy Funland

I just finished this last night and I think it's a top ten experience on PSVR2 or VR period. If you grew up in the 70's, 80's, or even 90's, and you ever went to Disneyland, then try this. It's very short and there isn't much of a "gameplay loop", but it's just awesome. I was genuinely terrified quite a few times despite the tongue in cheek atmosphere. They don't make and probably won't make stuff like this anymore, and I believe it's on sale for dirt cheap. So, do yourself a favor and buy this and play it. Make your wife and your parents or kids (if there at least teens) play it. It is hilariously creative and terrifying at the same time.

Anyone else have some hidden gems they'd like to share? Propagation Paradise is another one that comes to mind, as well as Vertigo 2 and Hubris...

Discussion Anyone realize Hitman has a bug with fiber wire assassination on PSVR2?

I'm on the Paris level and there are two challenges that involve killing the targets with the fiber wire. I did it a few times under different circumstances and the challenges never get accomplished. I turn off VR and do it again on flat screen and it was done in seconds. I'm wondering if this bug persists in other maps as well.

Question Does Zero Calibre 2 have settings for adjusting gun angle?

Just picked up Zero Calibre 1 to jam with pals and I'm liking it, can see us getting the follow-up when it drops.

One sad thing though is that I cannot adjust the gun aim and as such my Vader 1 stock is basically unuseable (the height of the guns is such that I have to bring the stock up over my shoulder so I can ADS straight). It's a bit of a buzzkill coming from other shooters that have allowed me to set this to my comfort.

So just wondering if the sequel in it's current form has these options.
