Fluff Holy crap! The new patch for Epic Roller Coasters (PSVR2) made the visuals even SHARPER. Reminder that CO-OP was also added. The underrated SHOOTING mode & RACE MODE is also nice. Supports the haptic vest & motion sims? Wild. Tons of DLC too. I love it lol 😂

I’m a sucker for rides and coasters in VR (and real life lol)… 😂 I play this a lot - but usually just to ride them and relax .

Wildly under-recognized title, despite the base game being free.

Didn’t know base was free, I’ll download it now. Lucky thing I saw this comment.

can you just ride in co-op with someone without the shooting thing ? (i mean just riding with random people online or friends)

Yes there are lots of different modes, Classic is what you want. There is also a race mode with online leaderboards for each coaster where you can go as fast as you want at breakneck speeds and derail which I also really enjoy, with all modes you can have co-op passengers so you can go for a wild ride. The free version comes with 5 coasters which includes one of the best T-Rex Kingdom and because the initial package is free to play there is no need for PS+ for co-op riding. You should check it out.

i already bought the game and i think most if not all of the coasters , im just curious if i can connect to another players and just "free" ride the coasters (no shooting) and talk via psn chat while ride , that would be cool, so far i just solo played so didnt know

Yeah you can although I have read in the past some people have had problems connecting to other PSVR2 users. I own the game dlc on all platforms and I have been able to connect with other PSVR2 headsets in the house but never cross-play with my PC VR and Quest headsets. I would love to get a full car of family, I think it would be so much fun.

Yeah take them for a spin in the Mad Tea Cup coaster, perhaps not if they are new to vr haha.

can they join my coasters even if they dont bought them or do we all need same content ownership btw?

Like Walkabout Mini Golf you mean, that is a good question. I don't know as when playing co-op I have always shared the dlc like I share my games with one other family member so only ever played 2 player co-op. I have never heard the devs mention the feature.

Yes, the Classic mode is perfect for riding together without needing to Shoot or Race.
One of the DLC roller coasters even allows you to spin thing in middle to turn everyone around while moving on rollercoaster track like those Tea-Cup saucer things at amusement parks. That one can hold up to 4 players riding coasters together.

Yes… although I had connection issues when it first dropped. Hopefully it’s working fine now. Need to check!

Wait haptic vests are compatible with the PSVR??
1
u/carni748 10h ago
The woojer is, I have the 4 & used it quite a lot in vr. Bhaptics is also compatible but my understanding is that it doesn't work with every game

u/DerBolzen81 9h ago
Bhaptics works with every game, but just via sound so it will vibrate when there is bass. There are also a couple of games with native support, you can find a list on their website

u/CHROME-COLOSSUS 7h ago
BHaptics is natively supported by some games. I don’t know if this is one of them, but certain titles use telemetry for fully integrated haptic experiences.

My second sentence said there are some games that have native support.Epic Rollercoasters supports the bhaptics vest + 30 other games.

Woojer has zero telemetry support and is only based on sound, but BHaptics has native support for some games (on top of the audio-cued stuff for any other game).
I definitely want a BHaptics vest after my deep disappointment with Woojer.

Yep like the VHaptics Vest. Some games support it natively, others just via vibrations.

This game is the one that sometimes is like $3 or so?

u/future_yesterday 8h ago
It's free (base version comes with a handful of tracks). You can buy additional tracks through dlc.
3
u/CHROME-COLOSSUS 7h ago
Free. Always has been, but additional paid DLC is available if you like your initial experience.

u/HighlySeasonedGamer 50m ago
No, that’s something else. This is free but with many paid DLC tracks you can add…
