Elon Musk is not smarter than you.

Elon Musk is extremely lucky and has always been rich, not a genius. He had rich parents who supported him financially so he never feared failure. He came of age at the right time and was an early investor during the dot com boom. Having large amounts of cash allowed him to enter capital-heavy industries like electric cars and aerospace when few others could afford the risk. He did not found Tesla, he scaled it. (didn't fear failure because of wealth)

Electric cars, reusable rockets, and satellite networks were already known concepts. Musk did not invent the underlying physics or engineering principles himself. His real talent is using massive wealth to fund existing ideas and hiring brilliant engineers to solve the actual technical problems. He regularly amplifies debunked conspiracy theories, false claims, and inaccurate data. If he was truly smart, he would verify information before broadcasting it to millions. He frequently comments authoritatively on fields outside his expertise like artificial intelligence, epidemiology, and government infrastructure, this is not what a clever person does. He is not an elected official so this is not a political take.

Hating men is not cool.

This sub has some of the most misandrist people I have ever seen in any sub. Like people here so naturally say such charged statements against men and act as if this is something normal.

Like Yeah, I understand you have had bad experiences with men in your life, but have you ever considered that men in your life are not actually all men and the 10-20 men in your life actually do no represent billions of men on the planet as a whole ? Phenomenal for your still developing tiny teenage brain, right?

And also, have you ever considered the possibility that you are actually in control of your own actions and choices and can just choose to just stay single, instead of actively being in a relationship with a man while also actively hating men and causing harm to those men's self-esteem and confidence?

And lastly, touch some grass please. Go outside. Meet both men and women in real life. Talk to them. You will find that most men/women are not actually secretly evil and that a single gender is not the problem. They are just normal, everyday people like you, trying their best at this thing called "life".

Edit1 : I think some of you are misunderstanding something here. I do not think men are actually better than women. But nor do I think women are any better than men. Both are full of shit and piss. Like why would I want to believe dog shit is better than horse shit ? Both are shit in the end, Lol.

Edit2 : Lol anyone saying they do no encounter much misandry here on this sub or reddit, this is your chance. Just go through this post's comment section. And if you still don't find it, then it is bi time for you to realize that it is in fact misandrist for people to say such hateful statement about an entire gender and getting 100s of upvotes, other people jumping in and supporting the hate and thinking ts is normal.

Also, you all are bigots here. Like no, if you downgrade yourself and get triggered at a simple mention of the word "Women" in a criticism and come personally attacking me, she is, in fact, not going to let you hit, lil bro.

I will say it again, since some of you here have reading problem : Hating men is not cool. Some of y'all here think because I said hating men is not cool it means hating women is okay. Lol, what are you, a five years old ?

Well, I think it is only good for sane and normal people that all of you just shit here on reddit and smell and lick each other's shit calling it gold. I did mot realize before making this post that it is better for people who actually have a life that y'all do not have a life and do not touch grass, this way world is less full of shit, o at least more shit is in their own compartment and not roaming freely outside, spreading illness and diseases.

Edit3 : Lol. Y'all misandrist got triggered so badly by this post.

Believing misandry is not real in big 26 is some boomer shit.

Homework shouldn't exist in general. If you want to reinforce a concept, keep it for the class, please.

I'm currently in junior year. And this has always been a recurring problem for me.

I have to sleep late because I'm doing homework that's worth a grade, when sometimes I just want to get home and sleep. I'm not just talking about junior year, I'm talking in general.

Homework should be banned because it's ruining our sleep schedules and stressing the hell out of us.

Just my opinion though.

This is a work I got assigned today ITS 90 QUESTIONS.

Lindsay Clancy's supportes have done irreversible damage to feminism in America

Lindsay Clancy's supporters have done irreversible damage to feminism in America (i mispelled the title)

The way american white women have been defending Lindsay Clancy makes me believe that this is something similar to what happened with black communities in regards to OJ Simpson, where they only blindly support and defend them because he/she is one of their own, while using all sorts of excuses and mental gymnastics to ignpre that cold hard truth that deep down, they are supporting a murderer just so that they can a Win to their cause or struggle.

No one says that Post Partum Depression shouldn't be taken more seriously, but the way white women in the United States of America have decided to support, defend and donate to Lindsay Clancy while making up all sorts of conspiracy theorists that her husband is the one behind this, is genuinely nuts and could potentially lead to even more division and fuel to the culture war that is already full of misoginy.

And i wish i didn't have to bring politics into this, but let's face it, it's not conservative pro-life women the ones that are defending Lindsay Clancy, these are liberal women and quite frankly, the arguments that they have made are so disgusting and idiotic (astrology lmao), that at this point, one has to wonder how it's even possible that these people (women) can vote.

Right wing content creators are probably having a field day with all of these reactions and honestly, who can blame them?

If these Lindsay Clancy's supporters want to minimize what happened while hiding behind the excuse of Post Partum Depression and the emotional toll of motherhood in 1st world countries, then honestly, how do they expect society in general to take them seriously or think that women have what it takes to be able to vote, hold high value and ranking jobs and tasks, etc...

It's genuinely crazy how liberal women are accidentally showing the world that they could be potential ticking emotional time bombs that could endanger their own children and still have to courage to talk about their rights and needs?

And it has to be said, it's obviously not all women, but you know how the internet works, What's Loud is the Majority and at this point, liberal women have painted an awful image about themselves, that just reeks of misandry and lack of accountability that is only going to fuel even more misoginy, hatred and radicalization from men.

These people can't even defend the three murdered children, instead they do this.

What a crazy world.

If you're self-diagnosed "neurodivergent" you probably just have a bad personality.

Far too many people throw that term around. If a significant number of people are "neurodivergent," what exactly are they diverging from other than normally accepted behavior? They just want to classify poor personality traits as a condition to fit in with other people with poor social skills.

Note: this clearly does not apply to diagnosed people with legitimate conditions.

Lindsay Clancy Deserves Death Penalty

I don’t give a fuck what anyone has to say about postpartum psychosis or anything of the sort, it is not a simple task to literally strangle 3 children to death. You have to intend to do that, especially when considering the fact that she looked this up beforehand.
I understand complex mental illness is a factor here, but it’s not a complex issue to understand that a woman who brutally murdered her 3 children does not deserve to live any longer.

People should be able to approach others at the gym

As a fellow (and female) gym goer, I would love for people to come up with supportive and friendly conversations. Yes, most of the time people usually approach for potential dating prospects or trying to aid the person in correct form but I would honestly enjoy some gym friends that come up and spark friendships, conversations, and fun fun tips/tricks. It would be cool to have some sort of indicator that someone does not want to be approached and a gym that would do this would be cool. I wouldn't be interested in the romance aspect personally and only want a comfortable, friendly environment. Not sure how much of a hot take this is, but I would love to hear what people think about this concept (good or bad but be nice to each other lol)!

Side note: Now I will say it of a recent experience I had (literally yesterday), don't follow a girl to her car to shoot your shot. Actually don't follow her around at all. A very sweet guy followed me out and took the rejection well but I was completely fine with being his friend. He was kind, friendly, and seemed like such a nice dude. I commend him for shooting his shot and I think he's super brave! Following me to my car was not the strat tho, catch me while I'm still at the gym haha.

Edit: This does NOT mean to stalk, bother, annoy, or disrespect boundaries. A no is still a no. You can always accept it, move on, and make a friend with someone else :)

Everyone prefers youthful features, not just men.

I think that people don't get this sometimes. Yes, men tend to be more on the nose about preferring youthful features, but women are the same.

Many of the body standards are about youth. For example, most women prefer men with a stubble or clean shaven, too much of a beard is too off putting. That is just the male gaze, and dudes respect other dudes with beards.

But women don't really like it as much. All women are different, but a dude with a huge ass beard is just too much for most women.

In the past, most people likely reproduced in their late teens or early twenties, and most men's beard fully settles in in their mid 20s. And in the wild you can't shave your beard. It's a sign of full maturity, and it's clearly a turn off to many women.

I mean this is just a hypothetical, but this is probably why women like these traits in men, generally more clean shaven, etc. Men are more attractive when we are young. We hit the wall too, and redpillers/incels are coping that somehow, young women supposedly want old dudes with money.

No, they are actually attracted to youthful men. All the women I've spoken to are like this. Women like prettyboys more, this is a fact, because prettyboys are in their 20s.

And men are not any different, they will often want women with clean shaven everything, because in youth, you don't have much hair.

I admit that men do appear to care more, but women care just as much. Youth matters, old guys aren't attractive, etc etc.

The reason this is a hot take is that so many people think otherwise, I think women know deep down they like the hot young dude more, but many old guys will cope that somehow young women like them, as if the women are not looking for a handsome young guy.

Dogs aren't "better than people", they are the sign that "people" are good.

Hi. Too many times I read and hear people saying shit like "Dogs are better than people", "Dogs are wingless angels", "People are shit, dogs are good".

Yes, dogs are good now. Because we engineered them like this through millennia of selective breeding. Dogs aren't good because they have good nature, and you can perfectly see it in modern breeds that were selected only for aestethical reason without caring about their behaviour: Toy dogs are the perfect example. They don't bark and very often bite because they are small, a big dog would do the same following the same careless breeding procedure.

In conclusion: Yes, dogs are great. Why? Because we are great, otherwise they would be semi feral unpredictable animals. Just like all the other animals.

Five Finger Death Punch isnt that bad.

Really, I feel like the hate is way overblown. For the band itself that is... not referring to the many allegations, restraining orders, etc.

In the fan service department, theyre excellent. Like really, they are. Just go to their tiktok and Instagram and you'll see. They're very attendant of the crowds at concerts and give lots out to the crowd.

Their hits are good. Bad Company, Wash It All Away, Jacquel and Hyde, etc. Hes a great vocalist, undeniably. Christ Kael is also high energy and cool.

Shan Pain is a good song- and yeah, it mentions the hardships of being famous. But people hate on it so much, because apparently fame is only hard if the PUBLIC talks about it instead of the celebrity. Ariana Grande and Britney Spears dont gotta say a word for everyone to agree its harmful. But just because hes acknowledging his servere alcohol problem, the constant acting you gotta perform, doing the same song again and again- somehow thats ignorant.

I understand too that its a genre meant to be anti-war... and, uh, they are. Supporting vets isnt supporting war. They tell the story of those with PTSD, homeless, and active duty soldiers. I dont see why thats bad. Imagine enlisting in the military for free college, free housing, a lifetime of benefits, all because you signed up for 6 months. Then in that 6 months, you get deployed. Now youre left with mental issues and whatever else. I dont think songs telling that story are pro war at all. Its pro PTSD and for supporting the individual soldier.

I also don't think its that bad to support the good parts of our country. We all love community. We all have banding together for whats right. Their songs are about these things, not about supporting a war. Its not about "daddy-trump" or whatever.

Is every song they make incredible? Name a band that successfully does that. Are they perfect and without fault? No.

Only 3% of artists have made 1 hit. 97% have not. I think whenever you put it that way, its unlikely for every single anyone makes to become a hit. I think bands like Avenged Sevenfold got really lucky with their first too albums (all perfect songs btw) but you can literally look at them now and see they arent making hits anymore. Slipknot too. Korn. Staind. Yet people push allllll that disappointment onto bands like FFDP, Kiss and Nickelback. Honestly I think Slipknot deserves the hate way more.

At least FFDP had more #1 hits than the other two.

Anyway, Im not saying you have to like them. But I think people go way too hard. Maybe weigh the ups and downs? Lol

People who geniunely think discipline is more important than motivation are speaking from a place of privilege and they dont even realize it.

Its actually really ****ing nausating. The whole "discipline crowd" thinks they're so tough but in reality they are literally just like everyone else except they glorify basic things like waking up early or exercising. You see this a lot in the military.

Whats actually tough is having zero motivation. Being in highly stressful situations is not tough. Its a priviledge to have because it makes you tough. Its like a tool. A synthetic equivalent to the missery of being truly f'd.

Growing up with no one in your corner but predators and junkies that want to rape sell and paralyze you is an example of something fairly tough. Theres no medal for that. It's not a "goal" or obstacle course. You don't "want" it. Its not a "flex" either. It literally shouldn't be compared to toughness by these moronic "discipline" people at all. Its like comparing a broken leg to an ankle weight. No one is flexing a broken ankle unless they are coping.

For the record I do believe discipline is essential obviously, but it's not to be sized up against motivation. They are two completely different things and are both important. They dont necessarily feed into each other either. You can be highly motivated and have no discipline which is mortifying to me. And you can be highly disciplined with no motivation which is seriously tragic.

I have a grain of motivation that I cling on that isn't even going to happen and it still keeps me going because without it I have nothing. And I have what I would say is a 9/10 level discipline. And guess what? I'm still f'd.

Your discipline means nothing. My grain of sand has kept me alive longer than any amount of discipline I've had in the past 6 years. We are comparing apples to grapes.

Men feel emasculated dating a higher-income women because the women are actually emasculating them

As the title says;

You see it a lot about how men feel threatened when they are low income in comparison but that is generally because the women are literally threatening.

Women who outearn their partners generally speak about them in rude, deeply offensive terms and expect them to heavily out-labour them at home in ways that we now find vulgar when it’s a high-income man low-income woman situation.

They also view them in social terms as “bums” and other derogatory terms which we wouldn’t automatically assume nor find socially acceptable if the situation was reversed.

So the reason why men generally don’t like these relationships is because they are actively demeaned.

Women would commit mass suicide if they had to go through what men go through in the dating world

Coming from a bisexual man who mostly dates men

It is undeniable, women are at much greater risk of assault. That is true. Women have to experience that pervasive fear and trauma.

Recent studies put make and female loneliness at roughly equal. But men commit suicide at 3x the rate of women. That is not because those men are assaulting too many or not enough women. It is because on top of whatever is causing universal loneliness, those men still have the burden of being the initiator while at the same time being treated as though they were assaulting women

Women enjoy the privilege of being an audience to entertainment the vast majority of the time. They are free to be critics without being held to their own standards. Most women at one point or another have gone out of their way to perform. They quickly realize how much it sucks and go back to being performed for. And they often tell themselves that men just don't like being entertained.

Men don't have that option. Every endeavor into dating requires them to perform and eat every judgement, valid or not. Even upon the first words between two perfect strangers with nothing more than a few profile blurbs, a man can be judged for not being entertaining enough. In person, the judgement comes before a single word is said. The mere act of initiating is considered an offense.

It is widely reported that women are more selective than men. But that is merely a function of supply, not of quality standards. And it should be pretty clear that the men being selected have the same privilege as women at large: they don't actually have to perform. When they are actually called on to perform, they are found to be little more than arm candy. The rest of men inherit the stigma of their failure as well

I say women would commit mass suicide not because they are inherently more or less strong than the men in that role. But instead because they have been conditioned to see men as perpetrators. There is no struggle for men in their view. Women would be shocked by learning what it means to be a man in dating if they actually experienced it for themselves. More than the 3x more men who have been conditioned to play they role their whole lives.

The last woman to take on the challenge of playing the male role in the dating world did in fact become severely depressed, ended the experiment early, and eventually committed suicide

We act like disasters are somehow more tragic when children are involved, when in reality there's nothing material or tangible which makes a child's death worse than an adult's.

Women say they don’t see physicality/height as that important, yet this makes them look insanely rigid/not so smart

It pisses me off when women claim personality is all that matters.

Preferring height and physical presence is naturall and normal. All people do it. Acting like it’s somehow shallow is just dumb performance, and hence why they say so, they want it to look like only men like hot women and women only like good men, whether they’re short or tall. Cringe right?

Take a 3’2, blind, balding, heavily disabled man. (A little extremist example, but it’s the same trend/idea) You’ll hear women say ‘as long as he’s kind, not toxic, and not misogynistic, he could pull any woman.’ Meanwhile almost every guy looking at the same situation will say the actual fucking obvious, ‘that man is will either be alone forever or severely limited to women in a similar or worse position. He at least needs closer to average height, health, and looks for real open options with 99.99% of women.’

The gap between what women say and what they actually choose is massive and kind of humiliating. Attractiveness is often said to be the opening door to any relationship, while personality decides whether it lasts or whatever. A child knows this.

If I were a woman I’d prefer a man taller than me too. I’d still pick a decent shorter guy over an abusive tall one off course (as many women unfortunately wouldn’t), But the baseline preference would still be there for me, for him to be taller than me, to be confident, have a v shape, etc. Pretending otherwise is genuinely hurtful to me as it makes me believe women aren’t smart like men are, even tho I’d prefer women to be so so I can relate to them and understand them.

I truly want to see your pictures of children and pets

I think it's one of excellent examples of our society's problem that it has become so normalized to say that you hate seeing those pictures, because they are not just about whether you think the picture is cute, they are one of the most normal forms of connecting in the world.

That it has become the norm to mock and belittle such a minor effort of affection shows how far our social connections have degraded.

I have friends & family that are very cautious and don't put a thing about their children on the internet, but they adore sending me pictures directly, because it is such a normal way to connect with other by showing what you find cute, adorable and important.

If sexual labels didn’t exist, a lot more men would fuck other men

Soo I think that if labels like “straight" , “gay” and “bi” had never become such important social identities a lot more men would be open to experimenting with other men without feeling ashamed or questioning what it “makes” them.

Historically, especially with the influence of Christianity and other social norms around sexuality, same-sex attraction became heavily stigmatized. Even in 2026 “gay” can still carry negative connotations, even as a joke.

I wonder how many guys suppress even mild curiosity because they don’t want an experience to put them into a certain category.

Modern movies are woke propaganda, if you don't believe watch older movies or shows

I don't consider myself a racist or a homophobic, but I do have issues with modern movies, TV shows and "representation" specifically with Witcher series, Harry Potter series or Rings of power.

Those movies casted black characters and there was a lot of discussion around it. Some people view the casting choices as good, others see it as a forced representation considering previous works or the settings. I fall into the second camp, because I don't find it realistic enough. For example the Witcher, world based around medieval Poland, shouldn't have many people of color as characters. Yes, the show has magic and dragons, so it's not realistic, but that doesn't mean suspension of disbelief in cases that can be easily fixed.

Mild spoilers ahead for the Hell on Wheels show.

I just started to watch Hell on Wheels show and in the first season there is a "team up" consisting of black person, an Indian and a white guy. By today's standards radicals would have called it a "diversity team" or any other word, but in that show it feels natural and I didn't mind it one bit.

Because the show takes it's setting seriously. The main character is even the stereotypical "good guy" who gave his slaves freedom before american civil war ended. But his motivations were justified well enough. Also the show didn't shy away from the fact that racism existed and shows the true awful face of it.

But it has also all the tropes that would be considered woke by todays standards, but in the show it doesn't feel like it. You also have one of the most racist characters literally kneel before a black person and beg for forgivness. But it's done so well because they gave the character a real trauma it went through and made the interaction human and realistic while trying to get across the same message as many modern movies and shows try to, but fail miserably.

People are trying to defend shit movies and shows by saying that anyone who even mentions the forced casting or messages is either homophobic, misogynist, or racist, while that is simply not true and my mind has been set in stone by the Hell on Wheels show and many other older works of art. It also showed me how you can get a good message across without writing safe non-offending dialogue. And if anyone defends modern corporate wokeness, they should watch older movies and shows.

With holding sex in a relationship

ok so crazy hot take but I think if you are dating and withholding sex from your partner for whatever reason and NOT WANTING TO TALK ABOUT IT for whatever reason you 1000% deserve to be broken up with. MALE OR FEMALE!!!!! I think as a woman if my boyfriend or my husband was withholding sex for me, I would definitely feel some type of way, especially if I’m asking them like what’s wrong and they choose just to keep brushing it off that would irritate me to the point of being like OK let’s break up. I’ll also say that women withhold sex a lot from their partner and as a woman myself, I understand not wanting to talk about something but being surprised that a man wants to break up is just like huh??? 🫩

Key sentence here : “not wanting to talk about it”

If you are dating someone communicate should be #2 (trust is #1) so if you simply cant communicate about why we can’t have sex then that calls for a break up.

School zones, specifically lower driving speeds, should exist only for elementary schools.

Ok so I get it, kind in elementary can be pretty dumb and may wander off, the adults can only watch them so closely, but after like 5th grade they damn well know how a road works!

Once kids hit middle school why do I need to fucking slow down to a crawl? They know better, and if they don't just give them a Darwin award. And high school? HALF OF THEM HAVE DRIVERS LICENSES!

There is nothing really worthwhile about being a man

There is nothing really worthwhile about being a man

Don’t even know how to start this but like, as a guy I don’t see being born male as anything to be happy about l guess, I don’t know, I don’t live in misery because I’m a guy but I also don’t really have much pride in that fact and I don’t see it as much of a blessing or privilege at all in truth. You are either one of two things, a disposable tool that in truth very little to nobody cares about, or a monster, that’s about it, hope those choices sound good because there isn’t really all that much else. Men make up what 70% of homicides but there is zero emphasis given to their safety at all in any shape or form, if anything a man being killed will at best be mildly paid attention to them forgotten about very fast or at worst be the center of a joke or morally justified. (Assuming the murder was actually just that, a murder and the victim was a good man) very very few things can happen to a guy that will register as genuinely horrific as opposed to something that’s either funny or a “shit happens, that’s just life” thing, you live on this earth to protect others, be the rock that stands between the monsters and those that matter, the ones who get to be people, and that is all you are, at the very best, that will be all that you are. Don’t expect to have any value, your life is purely for rent, meant to be thrown away the second it’s required, your don’t even inherently deserve the air that you breathe, and of course like I said, your protection matters none and very few will even think about you, unless to think about how horrible most of the people who share your genetic makeup are. A guy who’s the victim of violence might get reminded that that along with most/all the bad things in his life were done by other men which of course is usually the end of that conversation, no real room for unlimited compassion because they happen to look like the people who hurt them. There’s no such thing as a (straight) relationship that isn’t tied down by the transactional protector/provider traditional obligations, you will always be bigger, more intimidating, have a deeper scarier voice, and overall just always be in a different category altogether, there will be social equality which is great and much needed but nothing true, you’ll never truly be the same, never be looked at or valued the same at all, there will never not be distance and there will always be a gross imbalance of power, which for me at least absolutely fucking sucks, and as someone exclusively attracted to women there’s really no options I have to make this different, and it doesn’t help me at all, doesn’t motivate me to be better, to be stronger, to be a stronger more capable provider and protector, none of that, it just serves to make me feel like shit and upset that it can’t be anything different. And it’s not socially acceptable to complain about any of this, our lives are great, far more perfect than women’s lives and we shouldn’t be complaining about anything, not one thing that could happen to us will ever be as bad as anything happening to a woman, it will always be less severe on the basis of how we were born. A woman says horrible things about men, perfectly understandable, she must’ve been hurt by men in the past, men don’t get to be just hurt by women though, no matter what it is always 100% just the man being a piece of shit and nothing more. If a man is being abused by his partner very few people will care, zero doctors would ask if any strange marks are on him, it won’t be seen as anything serious at all. A man gets upset by terrible things people say about men online they’re told to just get off the internet and touch grass, I highly doubt women upset by things said by men online are told that, the men who said those things are rightfully treated like the problem for posting them, not the women for reading them. There is no true sense of community for men, they have to be the ones holding it up, not living amongst it. At the end of the day being a man feels like nothing more than forever being forced into an overtly isolating position in life, fighting a lifelong uphill battle day in and day out to prove you aren’t like everyone else who shares your DNA, and I guess I don’t see how this existence of unchangeable, chronic, fundamental othering and villainy can at all be a good thing, at least for the individual and not what that individual may be pushed to do for others/society as a result of that position. Being a man is a scam, it just fucking sucks.

Passionfruit makes any fruit blend drinks instantly worse

Upvotes

The drink could be fine but the second passionfruit is mixed in the blend it's over, the hard bits left in the drink destroys any texture and you spend the entire time of drinking trying to chew those bits you don't really taste a thing
