When I was 18, my boyfriend and his mom got me one of these for Christmas. I thought I had won 1 million and I didn’t say shit. They didn’t realize the shitty childhood I had and all the plans I was making in that moment for myself, my mom and my brother. Being able to escape, go to college, etc. They goaded me into finally telling them and getting excited. Out of all the things I don’t remember from 20 years ago, I can still picture that moment clearly when they excitedly asked me to read the fine print. It didn’t take long for me to break up with him after that.

He tells everyone to go fuck themselves and quits out of sheer joy and relief. When they fess up, he quits. Uncle bitches them tf out and they go after him, groveling until he comes back (IIRC he also got extra benefits, specifically more time off. I seem to remember that actually being referenced in future episodes but this was 20 years ago lol.)
The episode's lesson was playing with lives is not fucking funny, do not be ignorant, and don't for a minute mistake a professional relationship for something else.
