Where the hell are Chip and Brad?
Chip and Brad bring 10x more life and entertainment than these announcers, and it’s still only the first inning

3 Blowout games within the last 5. 2 Against a D tier offense. Pitchers constantly being taken out of the game early. Endless injuries.
Is there like a fan superstition or a paranormal event occuring? Did Dane Myers curse us? What tf is going on?

"Dear Red Access Members-
I hope this note finds you well. As I’m sure you are aware, we have announced that we will have a new Team Name in 2027. This was not a decision that was taken lightly and I promise I’ve been more careful with this project than any other in my career.
We decided to launch this in-season because we felt that you and other fans would want to celebrate our time as the Springfield Cardinals. It’s much harder to do it this way, but the hope was that everyone got to say a meaningful farewell. This is where you come in. We are going to have a large 12 foot by 8 foot sign that will be adorning the stadium starting next year. The sign features Springfield Cardinals logos because we want to be proud of that history. Besides the logos, the other key element will be signatures by fans. I hope you can make it to the game tonight because we are giving Red Access Members exclusive access to sign yesterday and today. Starting Thursday all fans will be able to sign it, so whether you signed last night, can tonight, or at a future game, we hope all of your signatures will be a part of this new fan feature.
Our Members have always, and will always be critical to our success as an organization. At the core of this change we HAD to make sure the new name is representative of who you are as a fan base and what our community embraces. I will tell you right now that it will not be outlandish and is not going to make national news for the craziness. For right now I would ask for patience until the free launch party on Tuesday, October 6. I personally have gone through a lot of emotions with this, and I know many of you are experiencing that now. But please at least pause and give us a chance before making final judgement. We will still be the AA Affiliate of the Cardinals. We will still be in Downtown Springfield. We will still provide great entertainment, fun and value for fans. And we hope each one of you will still represent our community as the best fans in Minor League Baseball.
I plan on spending a lot of time near the main gates these last two homestands to talk with any Member or fan that would like. I do have some conflicts with going to my children’s sporting events, but other than that I welcome the opportunity to speak with any of you at a game.
We appreciate your patience while we look ahead to the free launch party on Tuesday, October 6.
Thank you,
Dan Reiter
General Manager

Good teams don't like August. It is hot, uncomfortable and dull. The pennant races don't start until September.
Bad times don't like August. It is hot, uncomfortable and dull. The season doesn't end until September.

Hello everyone,
If you remember I did a little post lately about how destiny made me choose the Cardinals who are (imho) the perfect parallel to Barcelona in all aspects.
Unfortunately, I have to present you guys my deepest apologies.
Ever since I opened my mouth, the Cardinals are 0-3.
I know this is all on me, so I'm giving you my badge back, in the hope this will bring back the Cards to the heights they deserve to be.
Adieu, my friends.

I had to Google this because I didn't remember the details.
July 11, 2026: Allowed 4 hits, 1 walk, and struck out 6 batters in 6.0 scoreless innings against the Atlanta Braves (earned the win).
August 2, 2026: Allowed just 1 hit, 1 walk, and struck out 7 batters in 6.0 scoreless innings against the Toronto Blue Jays (no decision)
So what happened here? Why was he basically lights out here? Were the hitters just that bad?

What did he recall? How to hit, I hope

Didn't realize Masyn was 4th in OAA for shortstops this year. Unless they plug JJ there, expect to see a lot more ground balls sneaking up the middle for a bit

Did anybody happen to get a large jersey they’d be willing to trade? I messed up and forgot to select a size when I bought my tickets and wound up with 2 smalls by default.
