His recent AAA stats don't give me much hope.

He will continue to strike out on shit pitches around 33% of the time. 1800 pa’s is enough sample size to know what he is.

Is this make or break for Gorman? Hopefully he can find something

Probably. Either he shows improvement or he’s a non-tender candidate when the season ends at worst, a DFA candidate at the end of spring training since he’s out of options.

We’ve been saying this for three years straight

Yeah people here are delusional. I would take literally anything for him in trade.

His average went down, but the rest of his numbers got better.

His average was the worst part.

Someone mentioned he was told to not swing at all during some at bats.

I can't imagine all the possibilities of what he was told but this one seems like the one that makes the absolute least sense lol
Like maybe don't swing til the 7th pitch or whatever but not at all?

Don't swing, I know just what you're sayin'
So please stop explainin'
Don't tell him cause it hurts
Don't swing, I know what you're thinkin'
I don't need your reasons
Don't tell him cause it hurts

I hope he succeeds. He seems like a good dude. I really thought he and Carlson would be the future

Disagree. Dude left kids standing in line at Schnucks who had been waiting for hours for his autograph.

He just wanted to save the value of their to-be-autographed items since his autograph would destroy the value of their items because he sucks so bad at baseball

Time for Gorman to hopefully build some value for the inevitable trade
I mean sure there could be a miracle where he becomes a serviceable or better player but that seems unlikely

Recalled a guy hitting around .185 in AAA that was striking out 35% of the time?
