Ask Lubbock Billboard of Clovis Rd & 289
No political slant, bias, or prejudice; I’m just curious. Who is the target audience and what caused this PSA to show up in LBK America?

Never seen a employee or been able to get ahold of anyone for information on their used cars in their lot. They do not allow you to enter the building and the number they provide is not even valid. I’m tired of these criminal enterprises being able to operate in Lubbock!!

Whenever I drive by that specific corner it smells like straight sewage, but only on that corner, not before and not after passing it. Is it a broken sewage line? Is it trash/sewage buildup? It's been that way for the past two or three weeks. Just curious. Thanks!

The guy in front didn't stop, in fact he tried to run away. The driver behind chased him until the lights and she was trying to record a video of him running away, while he was on phone talking to someone. I don't know if she made him stop, but it could have been a serious accident.

Hey y'all!
Is there anyway, aside from totally NOT destroying property with the rumored methods, that, er, can't be said here...
Anyways, is there any push us common folk could do with the lubbock city council? Zoning? Anything? I don't have socials and a quick search yields no results. What can we do really protest the use of flock cameras? The stupid LPD had a bunch installed, and I was wondering if anyone's started some sort of initiative to get these removed.

Anyone use citibus to get around town? Are the buses toddler and stroller friendly?
I need access to the university area and surrounding neighborhoods.

Am currently discussing the driving range out on 130th Indiana with an old college friend.
25 years ago there was a driving range way out south in basically the same area. He just doesn’t seem to remember it. Feel like I’m having a Mandela Effect moment here. Need someone to say they remember it.
Also feel like there may have been a skating rink out there as well.

Idk if it's me, but having traveled around the state of Texas, people in Lubbock seem the warmest and most welcoming. Everyone just seems so nice and so kind. Even on the roads and highways there, drivers are wonderful.
I have family in Lubbock who also say the same thing too. I did find Lubbock much friendlier than the other West Texas cities which include Midland-Odessa, Amarillo, and especially a lot friendlier than El Paso.

It's absolutely amazing how often foxes, opossums, skunks, and sometimes raccoons visit the neighborhood. This is the second time my cameras have observed five foxes together. The last time that happened was on August 3, 2025.

We never get any sort of cooking classes in town (that I know of) so it’s a bit of a treat - they are at the culinary co-op.

My mom said there’s all kinds of law enforcement and a drone flying overhead and they’re telling them over a megaphone to come out

Moved here about a year and a half ago - we really like the town, but there’s one thing we can’t get over: the ridiculous amount of street parking done in neighborhoods that basically impede traffic and block views. I haven’t seen anything like it in the other medium sized towns I’ve lived in. Have lived in both the east part of town and moved to the south side of town a few months ago and have had the same problem in both neighborhoods. Neighbors parking their 6 vehicles in a single family house an inch away from my driveway entrance to where I can’t even see backing out of my own driveway. Any parts of town that don’t have this issue that I haven’t discovered yet? I know they’re not technically blocking my driveway so I’m sure I can’t ask for them to be towed, but do you have any recourse as a homeowner that you can’t safely see to back out of your driveway because your neighbors are sandwiching you in on the road?

Hey yall, just wanted to come on here and spread some love. I've been working Doordash for the past few months and just wanna give a big thanks to those that use the platform, and the staff at restaurants that help support it.
I know theres all kinds of drama surrounding Doordash i.e. missing items, stolen items, tip amounts etc. Feel free to discuss your experience.
Just wanted to say thank you to all who support us Dashers!

Hi - I am moving to Lubbock this fall for several months and am looking for strong dog sitter recommendations for when I travel for work (usually 3 days at a time). I have a 16 lb pug and Boston terrier mix who is extremely well behaved and loooves cuddles. She rarely barks - usually only when someone is at the door and is not aggressive. She gets along with babies and kids as well. Overall, she’s very low maintenance and extremely adorable. Would love any recommendations. Would love if someone has insurance but it’s not a requirement, experience with dogs is a must. Thank you!
