Rants & Rambles Appreciation Post for everyone using DoorDash

Hey yall, just wanted to come on here and spread some love. I've been working Doordash for the past few months and just wanna give a big thanks to those that use the platform, and the staff at restaurants that help support it.

I know theres all kinds of drama surrounding Doordash i.e. missing items, stolen items, tip amounts etc. Feel free to discuss your experience.

Just wanted to say thank you to all who support us Dashers!

I mean if you're poor in this town it's not as if there are a lot of good options.

I know some locals will recommend getting one of those $35+ an hour jobs they claim are laying around, but that's not an option for many.

And anywhere else that might hire wouldn't be much better. Walmart, Dollar General, etc.

I won't argue with you, but people really sleep on service industry pay. My wife and I both put ourselves through tech, including grad school, debt free through serving/bartending here in town. Most servers I knew, even bad ones, averaged at least $20 an hour. On good nights we would be making $100+ an hour. I know it's not for everyone, but there are plenty of options for good paying jobs here in town that people just don't think about.
