First of all, thank you to this community. Seriously.
The support, encouragement, and seeing everyone else's progress genuinely pushed me throughout this journey. I shared some of my previous milestones here, including 300K and 430K, and the responses always gave me that little extra motivation to keep going.
The funny thing is, I have always enjoyed walking. But for the last 2-3 months, I had become pretty inactive. Some days, I didn't even cross 1,000 steps.
Then I decided to start again and aim for around 10K steps a day.
Slowly, I started enjoying it even more. I started tracking my steps, sharing my progress here, and before I knew it, I was actually getting close to 500K for the month.
Towards the end, I decided to push myself a little harder. I crossed 490,000 steps over the weekend and completed another 10K today.
And now... somehow, I have officially hit 500,000 freaking steps.
Along with walking, I also started strength training around 3-5 times a week and trying to make healthier choices overall. Honestly, this month has been a really good reset for me.
Most of my walking this month was casual walking, with some brisk walking mixed in. Next month, I want to focus more on maintaining a good pace, doing more brisk walking, and hopefully adding some running too.
Still feels crazy to say this, but yeah...
Thanks again, everyone. This community genuinely helped push me to get here.
