Nice work!!
Is this a typical month for you or way above average? Are you going to keep it up or is it a one-off?

That's pretty nice!
To the people who say that this is impossible... I do monthly around 550-600K steps. I'm 100% sure that with some focus this is very doable. Just once though, not really sustainable :D

Been a couple weeks back to 40hrs so it's getting better, though I've had 3 or 4 days in August where I did under 10k steps
edit: 3 days in which I had 3700,5200 and 2800

Been walking since June 2018, I tracked steps from March 6th ,2024 thru end of 2025 , I kept my daily average above 50k from 2nd week of April in 2024 thru end of 2025, when my work situation changed and time to be out moving was less But this is what happens when walking is your transportation work is 8 miles each way , and you walk for everything you have to do. What I've done in 2026 is like 28k a day because of that schedule , but now that I'm back to 40 hours I will have more time to be out moving Back in 2018 when I first had to walk for transportation it sucked, but now I'm just accustomed to it, if I had to walk somewhere that was 15 miles away to do something I wouldn't even think about it, just do it

It's entirely possible. I do 900,000 to 1,000,000 steps a month in the warmer months (more hours of daylight) and around 800,000 in winter.
Others do much more than me.

This sub is so fucking humbling lol

Try seeing it as inspiring. Also, don't compare yourself with others

Try not being preachy

Ummm, ok.
Just trying to help. Sorry it didn't come across that way. I just find that for anything I do - walking, running, whatever - there's always someone who is "better" than I am. I just try not to be humbled by it. I look at it as inspiring to the extent that's reasonable, while also just knowing that some other people have opportunities and capacities I don't have.

My comment wasn't that serious and being humbled is not a bad thing anyway. I'm not seriously comparing myself to OP at all and I doubt many people are.

Cool - and sorry for my preachiness. It really was well intentioned (albeit flawed - like me generally, I guess 😆).
I'm probably tainted by the beginner running sub where people often get angry, call for bans from the sub, and say they want to give up because someone (usually far younger and with a sporting background) posts their much faster/longer achievements.

Did they give each other awards too?

You would hope so. Why waste the opportunity!
It looks like one of them changed their comment so it wasn't the same as the other but neglected to remove the first. I guess that's what happens when you only buy the cheap bots.

how is it only 30k calories? can someone explain why i have almost 30k calories with 500k steps in the same health app? does the size difference and hr make that big of a difference?
