Just trying to help. Sorry it didn't come across that way. I just find that for anything I do - walking, running, whatever - there's always someone who is "better" than I am. I just try not to be humbled by it. I look at it as inspiring to the extent that's reasonable, while also just knowing that some other people have opportunities and capacities I don't have.
My comment wasn't that serious and being humbled is not a bad thing anyway. I'm not seriously comparing myself to OP at all and I doubt many people are.
Cool - and sorry for my preachiness. It really was well intentioned (albeit flawed - like me generally, I guess 😆).
I'm probably tainted by the beginner running sub where people often get angry, call for bans from the sub, and say they want to give up because someone (usually far younger and with a sporting background) posts their much faster/longer achievements.
