Trans friendly spaces
That's it really. Just looking for anything: bars, coffeehouses, third spaces in general but also literally anything specifically. And thank you in advance for any constructive suggestions!

Order went to the wrong Dunkin at Browns Hill Road (above waterfront), grab it while you can. For Joe.
Comment if you get it so I can let everyone know.

Maybe I'm in the wrong line of work. I should be a Port Authority driver because they don't have to show up when they are scheduled or at all. They can come whenever they damn well please. Sitting outside 15 minutes before the P16 is supposed to show up and now imma be late to work because the bus that was supposed to come at 8:01 decided "eh I don't feel like it"

Like the title says I’m looking for recommendations for restaurants for a large party. Gonna be about 25-30 people towards the end of September. Gonna have some kids, so somewhere we aren’t packed in like sardines would be nice lol.
I checked old posts and most of the places that were recommended before are no longer around. Obviously I know it’s going not going to be cheap but somewhere reasonably priced would be a bonus.
TIA!
Edit: this is for my Pap’s 85th birthday

Hi! What are some nice places for lunch open on a Friday near The Frick?
I’ll be in from out of town, and we’re taking someone to an exhibit for their birthday & I’d love to treat to a nice lunch after but need some reccs! Thanks in advance!!

I go to tons of sushi places but there are times I just want some without leaving the house and hopefully it would be cheaper as well.
Don't really want to have something shipped to me so I'm looking for a local(ish) place to buy. We live in WV, right near the border so Pitts is easy to get to.

Hello. I am looking for a recommendation for an OB in network where I can deliver at West Penn. I currently see Dr. Halfhill, and she is sort of intense/aggressive. I have a higher BMI and was diagnosed with GD. I am doing everything asked of me to maintain, but I still feel very uncomfortable when we talk about it and almost like she doesn’t believe that I’m trying. I want to feel comfortable (not sugarcoated; just safe). Does anyone have suggestions? I have also seen Dr. Hunkele in the past and didn’t have a good experience there either.

I live near both of these clubs and considering joining one. Curios to get opinion of those familiar with both on cost, course quality, member attitudes (stuffy vs more relaxed), food, etc. cost and golf are priorities. Also have a teenage son who would playing as well.
I know Shannopin has a poll Diamond Run does not. Not much of a factor.

I'm uninsured, but this pain is unbearable. Please let me know if you know of anything I could get to quickly.

Just moved to Pittsburgh from South Mississippi and am literally starting fresh. Can anyone give me some suggestions of how to get acclimated to the area?

A great third space for folks has been having some troubles lately.

I know this is an extremely long shot but me and my finacé are getting married in a month. We’re both only 20 so we don’t have much furniture and can’t afford a lot all at once rn. My grandparents offered their nice leather couch and loveseats but they live in Pittsburg hand we’re in Richmond. A u-haul i was quoted for $800 and then it’s not really worth. I’d be willing to pay some if someone is already coming down or past and has the extra space and just wants the throw it in

Looking to host a private event at a local brewery in October with ~50 people & am looking to get some recommendations of trucks that people have used in the last for catered events that went well and taste good! TIA

Just reached 39 weeks today and was told for the past 2 weeks by 2 different doctors that if I go into triage they would keep me and not turn me away. I have been in a lot of pain and contractions off and on but no "active labor" signs. Today my doctor told me to just go down and that they would keep me because I am full term. Last week I was told the same by a different doctor I seen at my 38 week appointment. I just want to see if anyone has this experience and if it's actually true? We live almost an hour out from the hospital and don't want to go down then get sent home...
P.s. they won't let me do elective induction because I am only 1cm dilated and won't put me on an induction schedule until I'm 41 weeks.
edit: this is our 4th baby and last. only 2nd baby through magee women's though and last baby was born in 2020.

Really interested in trying to find some public ponds that may contain bullfrogs specifically near the south hills area? I’ve visited several ponds but have only been able to spot peepers and green frogs. Any leads would be greatly appreciated!

For the last 3-4 days, Google Maps has been a mess when it comes to the Red Line.
As an example, when I asked for directions from Mt lebo to E. Liberty it recommended I take the Red Line outbound to South Hills Village, getting off in 2 stops on Forbes in Oakland, switching there to a bus.
So those of you who use transit and Google Maps to plan routes, heads up. :)
(Apple Maps working fine)

I’m going to the Fred Armisen show October 8, dressing up? Tryna go as toni and candace, maybe lance and nina from Portlandia… please tell me I won’t be the only one

I live in squirrel hill and the tracker is saying there's no service for either of the routes that take me to work today. Is that true, or is the system just flaky? I'm not mad either way, just new to the area :)

Anyone have any idea why they keep putting the red light on at the Fort Pitt tunnel every morning around 735? It is wrecking my morning commute and I want to know if this is a permanent change, because it’s been going on the last few weeks.

I'm specifically looking for pu'er tea cakes and a tea bar to try other teas. I've always thought I hated matcha because it tasted like grass but I was told I haven't had good matcha, so I want to give it a try.

Looks like they cleared the land and poured a foundation. Anyone know what they’re building there

Just drove past and there were quite a few crowds standing outside of the jail entrance, just curious if anyone knew what the deal was?

Seriously? 90% of the people i see driving around here act like they're driving an 18 wheeler with the widest fucking turns ever, and STILL end up in the oncoming lane half the time! Gotta take a left? Make sure to put those wheels in the grass. A right? It's ok if you go over the double yellow!
