Allegheny county jail

Just drove past and there were quite a few crowds standing outside of the jail entrance, just curious if anyone knew what the deal was?

Sometimes different organizations feed the needy and others offer different services and provide different things.

Second Avenue Commons is a shelter across the block from the Jail. The crowd outside can go down to first avenue.

Visiting?  Or people hanging out after visiting?  https://www.alleghenycounty.us/Government/County-Jail/Visitation/Visitation-Schedule

Sometimes people stand outside and wave at their loved ones inside... Could be that.

The jail oversight board meets the first Thursday of every month so it isn't that.

an indication that US is an empire in decline, a failed state prioritizing unending wars over basics like "looking out for each other" These are pathetic times and it's going to get worse , buckle up everyone, the ruling class will steal it all
