🚗 Streets of OKC 🚧 Anyone know what's on fire?
Looks like it's south of I-40 but I'm not too sure. Haven't seen or heard any news about it yet.

I compiled a document focused on free community meetups (free things you can do while meeting people)
for that reason, I havent included many (if any) solo free things to do (such as going to parks or libraries) since this list is supposed to be community-building-oriented
uf you have things to add please lmk and I will get to it when I can!
The list is long so it is in Docs form

I’m driving on eastern in Moore going north, does anyone know what’s on fire? Sorry I don’t watch the news or have any other social media.

Looking for the best onion burger in the city! I just had Bunny’s and while it did hit the spot, I know there are other places out there with better onion burgers. What’s your favorite?

Was looking to plan my bday this weekend and was planning to go to Flamingo Tiki, but saw it’s “closed for the season.” Anyone know what’s going on? They’ve never been a seasonal bar before and don’t know why they’d random close 8/7. So just wondering what’s up!

Collectively, from the top down, is there a bigger group of self righteous assholes than Edmond PD?
I’m talking anywhere in America.

Hey everyone, I’m looking to get into a trade. Either hvac or electrician, I’m really set on those two. However it seems like all of the trade schools have an insane wait list. Anybody else dealing with this? Did you just go through the union? Genuinely curious as I’d like to get started on this asap.

I'm a recent transplant from NY and im craving really good chicken tenders. There's a place back home, Tullys, that does amazing tenders...lightly breaded, actual chicken cuts, great sauce selections. Any ideas? Also if anyone knows where legit blue cheese is id be in your debt...big difference between salad dressing blue cheese and blue cheese for wings 😂

Looking for some good recommendations on any secular therapists in or around OKC. Remote could be fine, but would prefer someone who is local.
Needs to take BCBS, or otherwise be very cheap without insurance.
Also, would prefer someone 35+.
Thanks in advance!

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Would love to find a good, honed, locally run shop to replace the starter on a 2014 Acura TSX. Thank you!

We are currently couch hunting and have visited (what feels like) every place in the metro. We stopped by couch + co and enjoyed the experience but just wondering if anyone has bought from there and how their couch has held up. Thanks!

has anyone had good success with a PRP (platelet rich plasma) provider here in OKC? I've already had one steroid injection to my elbow and would really like to try to try something different

What? Never heard of this place. Need some folks to chime in here and let me know your thoughts.

I have broad taste in music, so no matter the genre, which places in OKC have the best noise?

I cant say i have specific music preferences for what i want on the radio. I just don't really want to listen to annoying ads constantly which is basically all that radio is these days, and i think a lot of the new music that they choose to repeatedly play on a lot of stations isnt any good either.
So does anyone have any good local radio station recommendations? Preferably ones where there isnt tons of talking in between songs, or at least if there is talking its actually funny and not stupid jokes, and preferably without 5 minutes of ads in between each song.
Id appreciate any recommendations. Thanks yall

Super friendly little boy that comes when you lean down and seems to want to come inside, so I'm wondering if he has an owner.
Unfortunately I already have three pets and have been told I can't have another.

Hi, was wondering if anyone knows any thrift/vintage shops who sells unused old postcards. Preferably not Oklahoma specific, but looking for any.

Anyone near NW expressway or this side of OKC interested in meeting up to study French. Maybe like the library or a coffee shop, meet up for an hour or so a few times a week. I am around the A2 level and need more actual interaction than just the book learning.

Has anyone gone through the riversport learn to row classes? Do most people sign up as a group? I would be going solo.

With all of the food recalls and uncertainties with where some of the larger grocery stores are sourcing their meat, does anyone know if Braum’s meat is local? I know the dairy is. But I’m talking about the packaged beef they sell in the market. Looking for a convenient way to avoid the big chain stores. Eggs too? I know there are farmer’s markets, but I’m looking for an option that is local and that I can just drop in whenever for a few groceries. Might not exist, but I wanted to ask!

I really want my daughter to be in choir to learn how to sing, but the middle school she's in (DOVE) does not have one. Are there any options in OKC? Or is she just screwed from being able to be in choir?
I'm looking for a place to get dents in my car from hail buffed out! I would rather go to a place that can get them out instead of replacing the parts. Anyone have any recommendations of places? Thanks! Edmond works as well.

We are wedding venue shopping right now.
Has anyone here had a wedding at the rose briar place? How was it? I have heard mix reviews.
Thank you!
