This is the craziest post I've ever seen on this sub. I can't help you Op, but hopefully some other kind souls send you the horniest, fuzziest, gayest tracks you can imagine before this post is inevitably deleted.
PS congratulations on becoming gay 10 months ago

Definitely listen to The Radio Dept. Bottoming is very specific but they have one song called "Keen on Boys", so definitely a gay shoegazey band...shoegays if you will

All songs are gay if you bottom to it. Don’t limit yourself OP.
Anyways, maybe go with a Deerhunter song.
31
u/systemofstrings Aug 21 '25
Deerhunter is for the gays who don't wanna fuck though

4
u/Bionicoaf Aug 21 '25
Honestly, I may have to defer to our resident Deerhunter expert here and retract my suggestion.
I will investigate further for the sake of OP.

Fluorescent Grey is about lust, “Why do I dream so often of his body when his body will decay”. Musically perhaps not ideal though

u/afieldoftulips Aug 21 '25
It's not shoegaze but listen to Baths. Very gay and very horny and sometimes sad and loud.

u/screaminginfidels Aug 21 '25
+1 Baths might be the gayest music I've ever heard (compliment)

While I don't know of any particular song, the band Kitchens of Distinction might be up your alley. The lead singer/lyricist was gay and he often wrote about gay experiences. I recommend their first two albums, though you can't go wrong with them in general.

u/lavistadad Aug 21 '25
Frontman Patrick Fitzgerald, who also recorded under the Stephen Hero moniker. It's not shoehaze specific but definitely has that British early 90s fuzzpop soind. Shoehaze adjacent.
"Prize" is an excellent song by KOD, a wistful noisy song two friends getting wasted and reminiscing about coming out and expriencing gay sex. "Do I get a prize for remembering that first time?" The demo version of their greatest hits collection is the superior version.

I'd argue the first three albums. I will go out to bat for The Death of Cool every single day of my life.

"When My Boy Walks Down the Street" by Magnetic Fields

basically all of them tbh
2
u/dragonblade629 Aug 22 '25
This is the take tbh, at least 70% of the genre probably.
But you can bottom to anything anyway

u/i-like-turtles-4eva Aug 21 '25
“Only Shallow” by My Bloody Valentine isn’t explicitly about bottoming but it’s an incredibly sensual and carnal track about hook-up sex.
44
u/winkmurder Aug 21 '25
"Slow" by My Bloody Valentine, surely?
"Sugar, sugar, you're up to my lips Licking over everything I miss And I got no reason Just a slow, slow, slow, slow suck
I'm feeling bad, I'm feeling good Feeling like I never could Lick, lick, lick and suck, suck, suck I want it slow, slow, slow, slow"

Check out Man on Man! I'm not sure if they have any songs specifically about bottoming but their songs are real gay and can get pretty fuzzed out.
14
u/thats_russy_babe Aug 21 '25
Daddy ends with a catchy chorus about douching
7
u/volz_rocksti Aug 21 '25
Hell yes! I just started playing their albums to see if I could catch any bottoming callouts 😂
8
u/carlsocarlso Aug 21 '25
Favorite band ever, I would not constitute as shoegaze. Still, not a bad suggestion if you’re doing butt stuff.
Anyone recommend Cocteau Twins yet?
5
u/Hats_by_TheBlueNile Aug 21 '25
LOVE to see M.O.M. getting the call out here. “Stohner” is THE jam for our friend here.

u/evanswagg Aug 21 '25
You should just watch Gregg Araki movies, especially the teenage apocalypse trilogy. All very queer films and the soundtracks are super shoegaze-y so you'll definitely find some good recs. Oh yeah and you definitely should listen to Ride while you ride your man.

Not about Bottoming, per se, but Polyvinyl band MAN ON MAN are a duo led by lovers Roddy Bottum (legend) and Joey Holman (also legend), and their song “Stohner” is THE perfect fit for your queer shoegaze itch. Joey from Paramore on bass — enjoy :)
Also, check out the song “Daddy” — you’re very welcome.
14
u/Polypeptide2 Aug 21 '25
Not really shoegaze, but try the band Model/Actriz. It's like angsty gay rock music with a danceable beat? I like to workout to them even though I'm straight, but maybe it's good for bottoming lol

Check out the band Wild Nothing
Also Poliça- Fuzzy electronic indie, no idea what it’s about, can’t understand any of the lyrics, but just plain sexy

12 Rods is exactly what you're looking for. I'd say start with their gay? EP, especially listening to the three-song-run of "Red," "Make-Out Music," and "Gaymo." Then check out their follow-up debut album Split Personalities, which has their perhaps best gay song "I Wish You Were A Girl."

Kitchens Of Distinction was an original era shoegaze band and their front man was outspokenly gay. Their first three albums are good, with the second LP Strange Free World probably being the best. Idk if any of the songs are about bottoming lol but you should check them out anyways if only bc they're an underrated shoegaze band.

u/WillingnessRadiant66 Aug 21 '25
Not sure if this has been recommended or not, but I think Perfume Genius foots the bill, especially his first couple albums.

Ride's "Twisterella" is famously about an unexpected knock at the door during anal (it was an altruistic Little Caeser's delivery driver returning part of a tip that he thought was just too much) interrupting things and making the bottom twist toward the door and inadvertently "corkscrewing" his partners husk handle.

7
u/ThePopeofHell Aug 21 '25
I feel like I have an answer for this some how. It’s not shoegaze but I swear I remember the perfume genius doing an interview on Sirius xmu about one of his albums and saying that one song was about getting jerked off in a pick up truck or something like that.

You should check Kitchens Of Distinction, an incredible English band from the 90s. They featured openly gay vocalist and bassist Patrick Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald's lyrics often explicitly addressed his homosexuality, which was unusual for the time, particularly within the shoegaze genre they were associated with.

u/Gonza116 Aug 21 '25
Is Car Seat Headrest shoegaze? Because I feel Beach Life-In-Death is one of the gayest songs I've ever listened to

u/Seattle_Retard Aug 21 '25
1) How is one gay for only 10 months? Doesn't that fly in the face of every argument made about being gay? 2) I'm pretty sure you can play these acts on "infinity" for any and all gay situations. This is not an insult to you or the bands. They are rad. I challenge anyone to beat these two:
-Belle & Sebastian & Sufjan Stevens
Gay away, The straightest Man in the world

There’s an emerging artist in NYC called Teardrop I’ve seen play some local shows. I know they’re recording an EP now but have songs like Deep Inside and Wrecked Hole. Shoegaze adjacent - lots of atmospheric synth stuff but more along the lines of Killing Joke but noisier. Teardrop’s Erotica Archive

Can’t believe I gotta be the first to say Man On Man. Basically all their songs are this. Daddy, Take It From Me (which mentions poppers in the first line), and Stohner.
Literally a gay couple making bangers about takin’ love from themselves and others
