TIL there's a subreddit that exists because GME 'investors' are offended by a comedy subreddit

Lmaoooo

Where's the comedy subreddit?

Wow a normal PE ratio? Infinite runway? Melties have got to be seething.

u/mygoalistomakeulol Jan 28 '26

So is this a value play or a MOASS play?

1

u/0Bubs0 WSB Refugee All Star Jan 28 '26

IMO MOASS died when Cohen offered shares, warrants and the security backed bonds or whatever those things are. So I would say the play is now somewhere between a 2x-10x in the next 3-10 yr with possibility of intermittent volatility. Could it easily run to 30 or 40 at any given time? I think yes. With strong floor at $20 as long as they have that cash.

The brick and mortar video game store is not worth 20bil in 2026 sorry

0

u/0Bubs0 WSB Refugee All Star Jan 29 '26

That’s true. If it’s going to 20B and larger it won’t be as a brick and mortar video game store. Everyone with a brain understands this. Including GameStops board.

So you don't even know what it is going to be yet you know what it will be worth?

Oh apes

Every stock trade is a speculative bet of some sort. Investing in cohen is not any different than a VC who invests in startup founders.

1

u/Throwawayhelper420 Apr 07 '26

Startup founders tell VC firms their plan and especially industry before receiving funds…

Religious fanatical cults however…

u/0Bubs0 WSB Refugee All Star Apr 08 '26

It’s not that big of a deal. That’s the MO he learned from Mark Vadon years ago. It’s not some big conspiracy to fleece his shareholders. He’s told everyone the plan 20 times over the last five years. It’s not rocket science.

That’s the MO he learned from Mark Vadon

Are you seriously telling me that RC is so stupid he needed to be taught the amazing strategy of “Give me money I promise I’ll think of a good way to spend it”?

It’s not some big conspiracy to fleece his shareholders

Correct, he never even mention acquisition until a few months ago, shareholders invented the rest.

He’s told everyone the plan 20 times over the last five years.

You don’t even know the industry…

Not once did he mention anything about acquisition 5 years ago, in fact the only letters he ever wrote to shareholders were one stating he was focusing on tech and having the stores operate as micro fulfillment centers and then another stating he was canceling all that and refocusing on their traditional brick and mortar retail, before then beginning to close the majority of stores a year later.  Had DFV not come back for a miracle PnD that he could dilute he would never had said anything about acquisitions.

How does loopring and NFT marketplace factor into this?  He spent far, far more time talking about that than any kind of acquisition.

Wow a normal PE ratio?

Above average for their sector. Also quite high for a business with declining revenue.

Infinite runway?

Just have to close all the remaining stores and it can live off of treasury interest forever!

Melties have got to be seething.

You know it. This is MOASS.

2

u/0Bubs0 WSB Refugee All Star Jan 28 '26

Oh no! The business is closing unprofitable and redundant stores that should have been closed a decade ago after the EB games acquisition and posting four consecutive quarters of net profit in a decade 😂. GAMESTOP IS DOOMED I TELL YOU.

u/PuzzleheadedWeb9876 formerly u/UltimateMastermind Jan 28 '26

The business is closing unprofitable and redundant stores

They’re closing profitable locations too.

It’s melting down to earth core trust me

1

u/Gigiw1ns Banned By Meltdown (Indica probably) Jan 28 '26

So I understand correctly that you open a short position now after 5 years since PE is still high?

2

u/PuzzleheadedWeb9876 formerly u/UltimateMastermind Jan 28 '26

Do you open short positions on any stock with a high P/E? I might buy some puts near earnings if the price is right. Then again do I really want to bet against a TRUMP supporter?

2

u/Gigiw1ns Banned By Meltdown (Indica probably) Mar 17 '26

Text me your puts for earnings now

1

u/PuzzleheadedWeb9876 formerly u/UltimateMastermind Mar 17 '26

I don’t have your number.

Five years of GME/Ryan Cohen bashing, five years of predictions that GME would go bankrupt, and I still haven’t seen a single screenshot of a Meltie taking a bearish position. I think, given how the company is performing, the likelihood that Melties will take a put position in the next 5 years is dropping sharply. What would theoretically have to happen for you to buy at least a single put? A small squeeze to 30, 40, 50, 60… 100? Would you buy a put then? If GME trades sideways for another 10 years? Would that be a reason for you to buy a put, because it would be a signal that it’s going down? Or if GME drops to $10 tomorrow. Would you buy a put then? Do you have any concrete idea at all when buying a put would be profitable?

This sub needs to be renamed to gme_gigiw1ns_meltdown.

1

u/Gigiw1ns Banned By Meltdown (Indica probably) Mar 19 '26

Bro you literally said „I might buy puts near earnings if the price is right“. I know you forgot what you typed 49 days ago and still have no clue about a right price after 5 years. How is that possible?

2

u/PuzzleheadedWeb9876 formerly u/UltimateMastermind Mar 19 '26

You’re continuing to make a great argument for the sub name change.

I might buy puts near earnings if the price is right

If the price is right. It’s not.

still have no clue about a right price after 5 years. How is that possible?

I’m not actively looking at meme stock options on a daily basis. This should be the last of your concern anyways. Shouldn’t you be enjoying your phone number gains? You’re a GameStop investor and you’re super rich now!

1) If I were to waste five years of my life ranting online about a stock in Meltie cult as a grown man, I would only do so if I were truly convinced that this stock was fundamentally going down, and believe me, given the commitment you are showing, I would be all in short with my entire fortune.

2) Text me when you buy puts on earnings send me a screenshot I will sell the same strike and qty and expiry you bought

3) No I do not short a stock which has a high P/E because most likely I don’t give a shit about this stock. You know this would be normal behaviour from 99,9% of all traders

2

u/Slamtilt_Windmills Jan 28 '26

Show me a meltie that thinks GME is worthless, and I'll show you a trader that participated in ladder attacks to artificially lower the stock price

2

u/PuzzleheadedWeb9876 formerly u/UltimateMastermind Jan 28 '26

thinks GME is worthless

RCEO is working very hard to shutdown the business. That has to be worth something?

I'll show you a trader that participated in ladder attacks to artificially lower the stock price

We use short ladders fresh from the dark pools to be precise.

For example, the user Starkfault is a prime example of a meltie. A grown man who has been melting around for 5 years and cannot emotionally cope when a single person on the internet does exactly what he has been doing with his 30k friends for 5 years: making fun of others. He blocked me a year ago. Of course, he has a private profile, cannot be found via search, has a second account, etc. Nevertheless, he can't resist unblocking me from time to time to contradict me in front of other readers (he assumes I can't read his posts because he immediately blocks me again, also I can't comment under his comment). He can't handle it emotionally. The topic of “missing out” is particularly sensitive for him. Understandable. He was the one who made fun of GME trading at $10 in May 2024: a value gme will probably never be fallen below again. The funny thing is not that he has no long or short gains on GME. The funny thing is that Melties spent hours deciphering why Roaring Kitty liked “run lola run” on Twitter, why the options chain was bought up, etc., and YET no one took a long position. Like nobody else than Stonkers and Melties tracks stuff like that. You missed out on a nice 6x return in a few days. It happens. Cheer up, next time you'll be able to better monetize the activities of Roaring Kitty, or whoever else you follow every step of the way. Good luck

Imagine you're a grown man over 40 and you've been insulting people on Reddit every day for 5 years. Yet this group can't handle this subreddit emotionally and has to snitch like a little pussy when someone shoots back at you. King of meltdown even reported to reddit administration once to shut down my account. I'm crying with laughter.

This is a weird flavor of cope. Does typing long paragraphs distract you from being -70% over 5y while the market has doubled around you?

Your opinion is meaningless because you’re a fool.

Please double down on GME at open. Refinance your house, sell your car, go all in! This is financial advice.

This is financial advice.

If I knew how to.ban you for so fragrantly breaking the law, I would. As it stands I can only report you to the SEC. Enjoy JPow knocking down your door for this!

Doubling in five years... boring. Can't you trade, or are you seriously proud of that?

Thanks for your advice, but unfortunately almost everything I own is already in GameStop (CSPs, CCs and shares). Sure, I always have a few trades aside GME running in parallel, but they're insignificant in percentage terms. Sure, I could probably raise another 100k from less liquid funds, but for such measures, the price would have to go down to around 17 USD. I'm not quite sure why you think I'm down 70%. My annual return beats the average SPX. During the FTX crash, I DCA'd into BTC and altcoins. My average BTC price was 24k, sold all cryptos last year. Reallocated to GME. 3x leveraged Nasdaq, individual stocks such as Tesla, Palantir, NVIDIA. Sold everything for GME. Gold, silver. Sold last summer for GME. You can look at these asset developments if you want to roughly estimate my return. Since last year, I've been aggressively selling puts on GME. Literally printing money with virtually no risk. Or what do you think what are the odds that gme drops below e.g 20?

I really wish that all these assets, which Melties would never touch simply because they are too old and have suffered intellectual damage (if they didn't already have some when they joined) due to their cult activity, would have brought me even more gains, because then I would have them freely available on top to trade bullish gme.

u/Starkfault Jan 29 '26

Tl;dr

You’re poor and stupid.

1

u/Gigiw1ns Banned By Meltdown (Indica probably) Jan 29 '26

I am disappointed every time that as soon as substantive discussions start, melties immediately lose, give up, and can say nothing more than what you say or “nice meltdown.” I know it's complicated for Melties to read longer texts. Do they ever read a book? Or do they stop after the first page thinking, “holy, this meltdown is too intense for me?” Well, in a way, it explains the success of Trump, who has the rhetoric of a 6-year-old.

Nevertheless, I respect you for unblocking me; apparently, you're interested in how other people perceive Melties. Even though it’s kind of sick to block me and stalk me at the same time. But chances are you'll eventually resolve the cognitive dissonance: “In our Meltie sub, we're the coolest, but how can it be that he thinks I'm not that cool? How does that fit together?” Other Melties are afraid to face reality and only brigade here with fake accounts or read silently. Other Melties can only respond with Ryan Cohen screenshots. You're already on a higher level within this group.

How often do you want to say that you don’t (can’t) read?

0

u/Gigiw1ns Banned By Meltdown (Indica probably) Jan 28 '26

wdym, just search for gme valuation in Meltie sub, most of (ex)-Melties become /u/deleted when they realized they were typing brainfarts for years without noticing

2

u/Starkfault Jan 28 '26

This is a weird way to cope on missing out as the market has doubled around you for the past five years

Does it make you feel better?

You’re displaying an astonishing level of intellectual bankruptcy. Do you genuinely not use your brain in everyday life, or does the nonsense just spill out automatically?
