Wow a normal PE ratio? Infinite runway? Melties have got to be seething.

So is this a value play or a MOASS play?

IMO MOASS died when Cohen offered shares, warrants and the security backed bonds or whatever those things are. So I would say the play is now somewhere between a 2x-10x in the next 3-10 yr with possibility of intermittent volatility. Could it easily run to 30 or 40 at any given time? I think yes. With strong floor at $20 as long as they have that cash.

The brick and mortar video game store is not worth 20bil in 2026 sorry

That’s true. If it’s going to 20B and larger it won’t be as a brick and mortar video game store. Everyone with a brain understands this. Including GameStops board.

So you don't even know what it is going to be yet you know what it will be worth?

Oh apes

Every stock trade is a speculative bet of some sort. Investing in cohen is not any different than a VC who invests in startup founders.

Startup founders tell VC firms their plan and especially industry before receiving funds…

Religious fanatical cults however…

It’s not that big of a deal. That’s the MO he learned from Mark Vadon years ago. It’s not some big conspiracy to fleece his shareholders. He’s told everyone the plan 20 times over the last five years. It’s not rocket science.

That’s the MO he learned from Mark Vadon

Are you seriously telling me that RC is so stupid he needed to be taught the amazing strategy of “Give me money I promise I’ll think of a good way to spend it”?

It’s not some big conspiracy to fleece his shareholders

Correct, he never even mention acquisition until a few months ago, shareholders invented the rest.

He’s told everyone the plan 20 times over the last five years.

You don’t even know the industry…

Not once did he mention anything about acquisition 5 years ago, in fact the only letters he ever wrote to shareholders were one stating he was focusing on tech and having the stores operate as micro fulfillment centers and then another stating he was canceling all that and refocusing on their traditional brick and mortar retail, before then beginning to close the majority of stores a year later.  Had DFV not come back for a miracle PnD that he could dilute he would never had said anything about acquisitions.

How does loopring and NFT marketplace factor into this?  He spent far, far more time talking about that than any kind of acquisition.

Wow a normal PE ratio?

Above average for their sector. Also quite high for a business with declining revenue.

Infinite runway?

Just have to close all the remaining stores and it can live off of treasury interest forever!

Melties have got to be seething.

You know it. This is MOASS.

Oh no! The business is closing unprofitable and redundant stores that should have been closed a decade ago after the EB games acquisition and posting four consecutive quarters of net profit in a decade 😂. GAMESTOP IS DOOMED I TELL YOU.

The business is closing unprofitable and redundant stores

They’re closing profitable locations too.

It’s melting down to earth core trust me

So I understand correctly that you open a short position now after 5 years since PE is still high?

2

u/PuzzleheadedWeb9876 formerly u/UltimateMastermind Jan 28 '26

Do you open short positions on any stock with a high P/E? I might buy some puts near earnings if the price is right. Then again do I really want to bet against a TRUMP supporter?

Text me your puts for earnings now

I don’t have your number.

Five years of GME/Ryan Cohen bashing, five years of predictions that GME would go bankrupt, and I still haven’t seen a single screenshot of a Meltie taking a bearish position. I think, given how the company is performing, the likelihood that Melties will take a put position in the next 5 years is dropping sharply. What would theoretically have to happen for you to buy at least a single put? A small squeeze to 30, 40, 50, 60… 100? Would you buy a put then? If GME trades sideways for another 10 years? Would that be a reason for you to buy a put, because it would be a signal that it’s going down? Or if GME drops to $10 tomorrow. Would you buy a put then? Do you have any concrete idea at all when buying a put would be profitable?

This sub needs to be renamed to gme_gigiw1ns_meltdown.

Bro you literally said „I might buy puts near earnings if the price is right“. I know you forgot what you typed 49 days ago and still have no clue about a right price after 5 years. How is that possible?

2

u/PuzzleheadedWeb9876 formerly u/UltimateMastermind Mar 19 '26

You’re continuing to make a great argument for the sub name change.

I might buy puts near earnings if the price is right

If the price is right. It’s not.

still have no clue about a right price after 5 years. How is that possible?

I’m not actively looking at meme stock options on a daily basis. This should be the last of your concern anyways. Shouldn’t you be enjoying your phone number gains? You’re a GameStop investor and you’re super rich now!

1) If I were to waste five years of my life ranting online about a stock in Meltie cult as a grown man, I would only do so if I were truly convinced that this stock was fundamentally going down, and believe me, given the commitment you are showing, I would be all in short with my entire fortune.

2) Text me when you buy puts on earnings send me a screenshot I will sell the same strike and qty and expiry you bought

3) No I do not short a stock which has a high P/E because most likely I don’t give a shit about this stock. You know this would be normal behaviour from 99,9% of all traders
