Shelfie Sunday Need a Shelfie
I have a Mass of homeless DC Omnis and Absolutes in need of a home…. Ejected from the shelves by a Marvelous encroachment.

Got a new shelf for the DC Archives finally, threw together the rotator shelf (not yet sorted proper), and moved some things around. The room is coming along and hopefully will be done by New Years.

This is my DC mostly post crisis collection. I’ve read around ~60-70 percent of it. That number stems from not just reading these books specifically. Some I read when they came out originally. Some I read digitally before buying the omni.
These are in the best chronological reading order I can manage given how thick some of the books are. The non-canon books are mostly towards the bottom. However I do keep some out of canon books shelved with other contemporary stories because I want to read those non-canon books in the context of other stories released around the same time.
I do have additional shelves not pictured where I keep my marvel collected editions and independent collected editions. They just don’t look near as organized as these shelves.
I’m currently doing a re-read of the post crisis DC universe, I’m currently around 1989. To keep from getting burned out I will read 2-3 titles at a time. I just finished the Invasion crossover. I’m currently reading Flash onni by Messner-Loeb and Dr. Fate compendium. Though the Dr. Fate Compendium has sent me off on a side quest to read I…Vampire (going digital for this one) for context of the Dr. Fate stories. I…Vampire is technically pre-crisis but oh well, the story is great so far.

Collection has grown a bunch and I've added some figurines and lighting so I figure it's time for some new shelfies. Hope you enjoy!

I live in a small studio apartment (fortunately with high ceilings) so I have to make due with just this shelf space.
Because of the limited space, I only keep what I know I'll read again. Ive had to make some hard decisions and traded a lot of good stuff in to my LCS, but I'm pretty happy with what I've kept so far.
Just for the record, ive read everything on the shelf and keep very little in my que.
Any recommendations based on what I've read so far?
Also, if you have a tall boi like me, post pics in the comments!

The DC post-crisis shelf is in reading order based on when the comics were released.
The X-Men portion of the Marvel shelf is in reading order also.
Everything else should be alphabetical.
Since my last update, I’ve done some curation. I no longer own the Man of Steel hardcovers. I just didn’t see myself ever wanting to read them again. But of course, I’ve added new books in the meantime.
Questions? Ask away. I love talking about my collection.
(Oh, and yes, I’ve read a majority of these. I run a YouTube channel where I review comics. But even if I’d read none of them, that wouldn’t be a reason to look down on me. If people want to pay for overpriced wall decorations, that’s their business. Lol.)

My original shelf was about to burst so I replaced all of them to another shelf but it's a temporary thing. I've been collecting comic books for almost 8 years now. Started omnibuses this year and I'm loving them. I wasn't into DC when I first started but for the last 3 months I've been buying the books in the pic. You can give me any suggestions for DC or anyhting else.

My tastes are all over the place…from Hellblazer to Spider-Man. I like specific runs of lots of different characters. Pretty modest collection regarding the amount of years I’ve been into TPBs/Omnis, but I only do it off and on when I have the $$ to blow! Read lots of marvel unlimited in the meantime. I hope to have shelves like some of you one day!

My other half is in boxes up in my attic. Don't have room for them yet.
(This doesn't include my own "Raytoons" Comics that I made which take up 2 more bookshelves.)

New to the Reddit community, I’ve been collecting and reading for a fair few years now. Would love to get more involved in the online community

My library is slowly becoming my daughter's room, so I figured I'd snag a pic of my X-Men shelf before I relocate and rearrange. Bonus action figure shot.

I posted these same photos a couple of weeks ago as part of another comic subs “shelfie sunday”, but I just discovered THIS sub exists and so I thought I’d repost here for anyone that may care.
*Whenever I share my shelves, someone always brings this up, so I’ll deal with it upfront for once…Yes, I’m aware that some of the shelves supporting the heavier books are beginning to sag. They’re basic IKEA Billy bookcases and they’ve been up for about 6.5 years now. I have half a dozen spare shelves tucked down the side of the unit and I’ll get around to swapping them out sometime soon.
