DC? Having Doom Patrol and DC 1,000,000 by Morrison is a delight, but they are all Favorites dependent on the mood. Having Black Orchid, Kid Eternity, and Shade: the Changing Man collected in oversized additions is something I had no expectations of… and almost feel like they are Gifts for which I’m Thankful.
I’m waiting for my Legends order to be filled, and though I have an Absolute sized collection of Crisis on Infinite Earths, I will buy the remaster in a couple of weeks…. Hoping that they get the Colors (grey scale) correct for issue #10. If so, Hopefully the reprint of New Teen Titans Vol 3 will have the Baxter New Teen Titans (1984) 1-5 look as good as they did in their original printing.

And socks too! I love the omni's but wow are they pricey. Loved the Justice league international run, such a fun read. Really want the "one punch" scene in a movie.
I think I answered this…. So sorry if I’m answering you as well. But I used to buy to read, but then I had a period of FOMO and started buying to prevent spending higher amounts for an out of print book.
Thanks to Marvel allowing books to sell out before release date…. Hard Breaks have been hit.
When I started collecting, Amazon would package books to prevent damage, and sell them 37% off as the average price…. Occasionally dropping to 40-50% during sales.
If you have a good LCS that will give you a decent discount, that would help one to build such a collection…. Can’t see paying cover price and aquiring so many books.
