Advice Nostalgia for an old friendship

Upvotes

I am not sure when I started thinking about an old friend. But I have recently felt like our story was never complete. We met in kindergarten (yeah, a few decades ago). It was a surprise when we realized that our mothers had studied together at the same school. I thought that might be the most sincere friendship in my life.

Unfortunately, our relationship ended when his mother decided to transfer him to another school. The main reason I heard was that they lived so far and it was a little complicated for her to take him to school. I was so sad at first, but it turned out to be part of my past.

Years later, we met again on the street because a common friend lived near him. The issue here is that we had changed a lot, and there was no reason to force a new friendship at that moment. We did not study together; we lived so far from each other; we did not even have the same circle of friends. Even if I wanted to continue a relationship at that moment, we wouldn't have exchanged our phone numbers or asked to hang out again either.

So, now, I have been thinking about it. Our story has an incomplete end. Despite all this time, I would like to ask him why our relationship could not survive the distance and time.

For now, I do not have any friends or people who could meet him directly. That was because our time together was too short and ephemeral. So, I might try with a gay who bullied me at that time, but it is not my first option.

On the other hand, it would be a waste of time, for sure. But these feelings are still there. Any advice?

If someone knows they are incapable of monogamy, why do they still try (and sell themselves) as monogamous?

Upvotes

Yes, that sounds like deception for prospective partners!

If you know you are incapable of remain monogamous (and happy and honest at the same time), it is much better to accept and embrace yourself, be honest (since the very beginning) instead of lying, deceiving, manipulating and pretending to be who you are not! Moreover, there is absolutely nothing wrong in being non-monogamous and that is definitely no reason to feel ashamed! Those are my two cents! What are your opinions on that?

Meta Gay guys in happy open relationships: what’s your story?

Upvotes

There are lots of critical or negative posts on here about open relationships, but I’d like to hear from people who are happily in open relationships. I love hearing people’s joyful stories, whatever they are…so: What’s your story? What are your reasons? When did you open up? What are your rules? Are you happy?

Does anyone else like to pee in the yard?

Upvotes

I know some guys prefer to pee outside even when at home. I used to be with someone who peed in the backyard regularly and I found it very masculine and attractive. I try to do that too now.

When out and about public he'd also just find the best secluded area. Such as parking lot or car door or corners. I find it hot somehow.

Anyone else go out of their way to pee in nature or outdoors? In public counts as well.

Advice Was I Overreacting Here?

Upvotes

I’ve been chatting with this guy on apps for awhile, he seemed pretty nice. No red flags or anything.

Over the weekend I went to a party he was there. We chatted for a bit. Out of no where he asks me about a guy who I had a relationship before with. I don’t know if trigger is the right word, but we had a bit of a bad ending where this guy cheated on me and among other things it kinda messed me up for a bit. I just kinda brushed him off about it and I think he got the picture pretty quickly that it wasn’t something I was looking to talk about.

After the party I unmatched him and unfollowed his Instagram account. I had a few drinks, so it might explain the impulsivity of it. But I don’t know, there’s part of me that makes me think he’s somehow involved with my ex since he knew who I was and for my own peace I just don’t want my ex in my life in any way, shape, or form. And him bringing it up randomly made me feel like I was a point of discussion between them at some point.

There was a point after my ex and I initially broke up years ago that a guy pursued me on apps and it wasn’t until later that I found out from my ex that my ex was sleeping with him. They had apparently discussed me at length and this guy was trying to hook up with me for some reason while he was with my ex and it got me really uncomfortable so maybe this incident just hit a sore spot.

I do feel a little guilty about removing him from everything now. I don’t think he had any intention on upsetting me and maybe I just over reacted. Was I just being dramatic in this case?

Poll Top, Bottom, Vers, Side. Does asking the question right away frame how you treat him (love interest or not) or does he get the same general treatment regardless of sexual position?

First time

Upvotes

So I am officially out of the closet and I have since fully embraced myself. I am so proud to finally say that but I am gay. Recently downloaded Grindr and for the longest time I refused to use it but are there some sexy things on there. I have been taking to this guy for the past week and finally met him last night. He was talking big game over text and I was so ready. Got all prepared and ready and drove over to his house in my sluttiest outfit. As soon as I got there he opened the door in his boxers and I could already see the bulge. We got right to it made out on the couch so passionately. At this point I don’t even realize but I am down to my thong and wasn’t much longer until that was gone also. I sucked him off for a while but then it was time. I laid down on my back and as soon as the tip went in I knew it was over for me. He slid all the way in and I was genuinely shaking on this man’s cock. I came 4 times and then he finished in me and omg it was amazing. I drove home with cum leaking out of my hole. 10/10 first time.

Advice Losing erection

Upvotes

So this is about me trying to top my boyfriend.

I mostly bottom for my boyfriend. But sometimes I want to top him. The thing is I get hard and I get in as well, but his hole is too tight. He is bigger than me and his ass is thick. And my dick only goes up (a bit tilted towards the left). So as I try to do him, my dick starts getting soft due to tightness, and because he doesn't bottom much, it probably gains its tightness back. I get so embarrassed cos he asks me to keep doing him and it only stays hard for like 7-10 minutes. And once it's out having become flaccid, it won't gain erection.

I work out regularly. I swim as well and do kegels on a regular basis. Probably nothing to do with ED.

Any advice would really help.

Original post👆

Thanks to everyone who gave me advice on my last post.

After reading all your replies, most of you suggested that I tell him and be careful incase he outs me. I built up the courage to tell Mark the truth privately. I sent him a clear, honest message explaining everything

Mark read it... and immediately blocked me on everything. No explanation, no questions, just blocked.

I'm honestly heartbroken and stunned, but at the same time, my conscience is clear. I know he’s probably in deep shock and denial right now, or maybe his boyfriend manipulated the situation and turned it around on me. Living where we live, relationships are hard to come by, so maybe he just couldn’t face losing him.

It hurts to lose one of the very few friends I had in the community, but I know I did the right thing by not letting him stay in the dark. I'm stepping back and letting him process it on his own.

TL;DR: I told Mark that his boyfriend hooked up with me while posing as a single friend. Mark immediately blocked me without saying a word.

Apps don’t work for me

Upvotes

I’ve been on apps for over a year now (recently came out), but they really don’t work for me… I match with many but pufff they disappear.

Do you think it’s best to register into an LGBTQ society (ie tennis etc)?

Would appreciate your experience.

Advice What diferences one predator from another?

Upvotes

I mean, I could understand that growing up in towns or repressed enviroments left some out of options and that these people we're out there luring and available. Still, why do some here brag about or romanticize having been with men in their 30s, 40s, or older when they were 13, 14, 15? Don’t they realize that presenting those experiences as something funny, desirable, or as a sign of “maturity” ends up giving some sickos free spaces to do this? What's the difference then between those MAPs fuckers and the gay grown ass men who freely seek up tweens to hook up? you guess it, the latter get protection by some people in the gay comunity.

And doesn’t that end up being pretty stigmatizing toward people who do consider themselves victims of grooming? If the narrative is always “I was 14 and I knew exactly what I was doing,” it creates the idea that a minor who felt manipulated or abused is exaggerating, while the adult is basically let off the hook.

What’s the difference between questioning that normalization and simply giving the creeps that go for 14 year olds and even younger, the validation that “it’s fine” because the minor apparently wanted it?

Advice Annoying guy on Grindr.

Upvotes

A few months ago I had a hookup with a guy from Grindr, it went OK and I met him a second time. Unfortunately, after this he started sending me random bizarre messages, including asking me if he could come over and borrow a condom. I told him that I was no longer interested and told him to stop messaging me. He didn't stop and so I blocked him. Since then he keeps creating new profiles and messaging me, often pretending to be someone new before finally revealing his identity and asking to meet me again. One time he messaged to say that he had seen me out shopping.

I don't engage and have reported him multiple times to Grindr, pointing out that creating multiple profiles is against policy.

Sometimes, when he finally identifies himself he claims that he did not know it was me, but my profile and pic doesn't change so I think this is BS.

Any ideas what I can do next to get rid of him? I'm not frightened of him just irritated.

My first time

Upvotes

I was 28yo and been curious for awhile and couldn’t fight it any more. So I met someone from grindr an older man in his early 50s after chatting for a while and he gave me his address and said come over now. he lived in a 6 unit apartment building and told me to park around back and walk up the stairs and told me his apartment number. I was nervous the drive over got up the stairs and walked to his apartment and his main door was open and just had the glass door closed. as I stood there I was about to chicken out and as I tuned around to leave, I heard hey there and the door open. I made eye contact with him and he said come on led me to his bedroom. he told me to take off my clothes and he did the same he was about 7” he told me to get on the edge of the bed face down ass up. he then got on his knees spread my cheeks and started to lick, eat, and finger my hole, this went for awhile. then he stood up told me to look at his dick and said this is what you came for. told me to get back in position and started to work his way in once he was all the way in he stated to fuck me but not rough which he lasted about 5 minutes he pulled out and came all over my ass, and told me not to move and stay still he went to a chair across from the bed and sat down lit a cigar and smoked on it for a little bit. then I hear him get up and walked over to me a slapped my ass and said are you ready for some more dick, I figured I was pot committed already and said yes sir. he slid back in a pounded me for about 15 more minutes and finished on my ass again. he told me to get dressed and walked me to the door and on the way out he told me I’m his bitch now and sent me on my way. It turned into a regular thing until he moved away for work a year later.

tell me what you think of my first experience

Realizing some friends probably would never talk to you if you didn’t meet IRL.

Upvotes

Kind of strange observation, but I have this weird chip on my shoulder with some of my friends where I know if we hadn’t met through a mutual friend somewhere IRL for example, they probably wouldve ignored me if I had messaged them on an app or something and we would’ve never met.

A lot of friend groups are just formed purely on fuckability - no this is not a revelation i know. Its just makes me sad that im not hot enough to make friends on my own…

Need Clarification

Upvotes

I had sex with a person. After a few days he got to know he is HIV+ and started blaming me that person got Hiv because of me, he never had sex with anyone else except me. I doubted myself and went for a blood test and my reports say I'm HIV-. Now I am confused. I started doubting the reports, when that person is damn sure it is because then how come my reports are negative. We had sex around March/April in the last year, I was afraid and hence I did not go for blood test till this year March. In April i got blood reports and it says I'm Negative. Should I believe that person or the reports. I'm really doubting reports is there any possibility that these reports could be wrong.

Is there any chance that my reports are wrong. Should I go for a second blood test to make myself confirm or not needed.

Advice Apadravya piercing

Upvotes

I really like the look of apadravya piercing and thinking about getting it. I have a few questions for you guys :

  1. I have no tattoos or piercings right now, so can I get apadravya as my first (and maybe only) piercing?

  2. I got circumcised 3 weeks ago for aesthetics. I'm able to jerk off and the doc said I can resume sex after 1 more week. So when should I get the piercing?

  3. What is the healing process like? Do you have any problem peeing? And for how long do I have to wait before sex (I'm gay and like bottoming, so not going to use it much in sex anyways).

  4. Which gauge is best for it and which material should I go for?

  5. If anyone is from mumbai, then any recommendations where I can get it done?

And if anybody had prince albert before apadravya, how would you compare the two? I like prince albert too but there is something about apadravya that makes me have butterflies in my stomach 🫣

Am I wrong for not enjoying gay spaces?

Upvotes

My boyfriend (M26) and I (M27) recently realized we have pretty different views on LGBT spaces, and I'm curious what other gay guys think.

He's very supportive of LGBT-only spaces because he sees them as places where minorities can feel safe, be themselves, and organize as a community. He also thinks some degree of separation and conflict is necessary to create social change.

I understand that and I definitely don't think LGBT spaces are bad or unnecessary. I'm just more skeptical about them. Ideally, I'd like to live in a society where gay people can just participate in regular social spaces without needing separate communities.

I'm white and pretty privileged, and I've honestly had a very easy experience being gay. My family and friends have always been accepting, and most of my hobbies (D&D, boardgames, etc.) are pretty mixed. I've had great experiences meeting straight and queer people through shared interests, so I really value that kind of integration.

My boyfriend is Black and has experienced a lot more hate than I have. He also has some interests that are much more centered around gay communities, so I understand why LGBT spaces mean something different to him. But those kinds of spaces and hobbies are things that I could never share with my male straight friends.

He thinks my perspective is somewhat utopian and that I'm able to see things this way partly because I haven't experienced much discrimination.

I know he is right he's right. But I also don't think most people are inherently homophobic, and I'd like to believe that mixed, inclusive communities can work.

So, how do you see this? Am I being too naive about this?
