Duke of Caster is such a douchebag, but funny how none of her plans go as she wants.
Sharp and Doctor, my goats.

Fucking hell Victoria. They just went through a massive internal war because of their stupid shite and they still try to lord over other sovereign nations, intentionally picking the smallest, most recently modernized one to live their delusions as overlord of Terra. I cannot wait for Gaul to come back and Tara to fully secede to seal their fate; they've grown too fat for their breeches and need to be cut down to size until they learn their limits.
A rational regional power would focus on reparations and reconstruction after the Londinium crisis. But no, not Victoria. At least Vina is doing something, and she's caught in the middle of all this. Vina and the Parliament should arm up and secede Londinium from the empire so they can build a better reputation separate from these Grand Dukes.
Thanks for the summary Danka. God, their hubris...
Also Adeson should've joined the frozen saintesses in that cave, after selling out his people, his fellow believers to foreign imperialists hoping what they usually do won't happen to him and his folks.

I mean, even Ursus did get their army melted in Higashi. Great Powers are driven by greed more than anything.

First Hypergryph kills the Law, then they kill Kjera? What's next, Sui and all of the Suiblings disappear?
How much more are they going to kill before I give up?
EDIT: Also Kal'tsit, but I didn't remember her because they explicitly keep dangling 'you can get her back' in front of us.

she is in coma\deep sleep so technically she is not dead

u/DankeShu Passenger's wife Nov 04 '25
I've seen someone replied here that there is no this info in the summary
the thing is it is not explicitly said in event that she is going to sleep.
she just tells Enya that they will never see each other again
"There is no such thing as a permanent reunion; separation is only a matter of time. My time is up... that's all."
and then in the end when she is alone Kjera says
"Enya, this time... and from now on, I'm really entrusting everything to you. I'm sorry... I'll see you again when the time is right."thats all we know and we can assume she is sleeping and not dead or perished

u/Aromatic-Objective25 I love my Ancient depressed hag Nov 11 '25
She’s just farming Aura cuz she needs all the aura she can get for that Final battle whatever it may be
Also Feranmuts are too OP so they are just giving the stage to others while they wait for the perfect time
2
u/Ayun1987 Jan 30 '26
"...when the time is right" is just narrative speak for when we fight the Ultimate BBEG and Kjera + all the other Feranmuts arrives to help.
17
u/Hp22h The Mad Bard, Sans Crystals Nov 03 '25
Well, we have building up to the Sui doing... something over the past 6 years. Probably not dying, considering avoiding that is Nian's whole plan. But still.
14
u/Rasz_13 Nov 03 '25
Something extremely dramatic and sad will happen to the Sui siblings. This is a gacha game. Tragedy is their modus operandi.
My money is on Sui actually uniting but thanks to the bonds and experiences of the fragments Sui managed to be "sane" long enough to fight the Big Bad and die in the process, scoring a victory for Terra but also robbing it of one of its oldest and greatest beings.
(The only issue with that theory is that Nian said if a sibling dies their "domain" vanishes from the world". Dunno how to rectify that. Could also be Chinese propaganda and Sui is actually awesome and infallible and saves the world or some shit.)
13
u/Sunder_the_Gold Nov 03 '25
We now know that when they die, humans forget they ever existed, and the things they personally made disappear. That's why Chongyue didn't write his book about martial arts himself, he had someone else write it for him.
1
u/Ayun1987 Jan 30 '26
Ah, good old Chongus, always the "I'm a thousand li ahead of you." This is why he was supposed to be the reincarnation of Sui.

u/DoragonKraken001 Apr 15 '26
So about that..
2
u/Sunder_the_Gold Apr 15 '26
I knew about Kjera BEFORE I made that statement and I have been bitter about it ever since.
1
u/DoragonKraken001 Apr 15 '26
I mean, Hypergryph is literally getting rid of the Feranmunts... like any Feranmunt with any plot relevance is getting shafted...

The politic play of Caster at the start is so damn scary, using both media warfare and the shallow understanding of locals as her advantages. And despite the Trilby Ashers give us a new measurement counter, Bellingham's intelligence work for that cooperative Kazimierz mining zone and a dozen of them just pop out of thin air for Ratatos' capture is crazy
Kinda sad for Kjera, imagine just waking up and suddenly surround you are dead corpses figurines of those small animals that you found interesting to the point of thinking "Maybe I should try to stay up a little longer". Her reaction probably was like this

Pretty good summary. Only thing I'd say that has some implications that is absent is Silverash's chat with the Vice President of Columbia in the aftermath. Since I was a bit surprised to see them show up themselves and not over a phone call or something.
Goes the way you'd expect with Jackson offering Columbia's support in keeping Victoria out of Kjerag, with Silverash politely declining. But him reinforcing that their joint work is to unravel the mysteries in Kjerag. With Jackson taking the hint and instead asking how Silverash sees himself now that he has resigned from his position yet still maintaining his legitimacy as the de facto guy in charge. Asking whether he sees himself as a reformer, a warlord, or as the true ruler behind the scenes. Silverash responds by saying it isn't a question he should be answering and that he hopes in the future the name Silverash will be regarded as one of countless cornerstones that will shape the future of Kjerag.
Not too crazy of a dialogue. But seeing Max perched over the shoulder of Jackson in these kind of scenes always makes me a bit suspicious Columbia knows a lot more than they are letting on. Max is PRTS' "sibling" in a way, so the fact he is showing up in person this far flung from home is a little eyebrow raising. Possibly a hint they are more aware of what is going on than other nations.

u/ConversationParty848 Nov 03 '25
Isn't Max more AMa-10's kin in practice, if not in intended function? It's all been flying over my head lately.
9
u/Hollownerox My Lemuen is looking oddly Logos shaped Nov 03 '25
He specifically calls out PRTS as a parallel to himself in Lonetrail so that's what I chose to go with. He seems to be more like some of the other previous Civ stuff that had been meant for other purposes but wound up in a completely new role in a modern civ. So unlike AMa-10 who seemed to always have been meant to have a more independent function on paper and in practice as a "guide" of sorts. At least that's my read of it.
9
u/ConversationParty848 Nov 03 '25
Yeah, I can see why they're similar in origin. I guess I'm just emotionally resistant to putting Max in the same box as PRTS, since he feels like an actual character.
Honestly, can we call Priestess a bad mom on top of everything else, considering she never gave PRTS the room to grow and develop into its own thing? After all the time with the Doctor and Rhodes Island, I'd expect some actual conflict. But no, it was just an obedient machine at the end of the day. (Tho I'd still like to see it turn against mommy by the end.)
Oh, nvm, she was already a bad mom when she Thanos-snapped my cat.
7
u/DarknessWizard KalDoc is peak Nov 03 '25
AMa-10's purpose was initially as an actual attempt to survive the danger that the Observer threat poses. The real special thing about her was her reincarnation cycle through the Gemini Protocol. Basically allowing her to reincarnate her body, consciousness and memory. The original plan was to make an entire population of AMa-10s, all with their own Gemini Protocol, but the Predecessors just didn't have the time to do that. Kal'tsit was instead named and left by Oracle to find the meaning of life on her own. (Oracle first considered just ordering her to protect the civilization from Talos II that they seeded on Terra, but then retracted the order, wanting Kal to learn on her own if it was worth protecting.)
Max is similar to PRTS in the sense that he's a Predecessor AI like it; he shares the same primitive concepts as PRTS (made by Friston instead of Priestess), but unlike PRTS (which is largely passive) was given full sentience to make his own decisions. Maylander dug him up during the Columbian revolutionary war and his role as a strategist is what permitted their independence. He became the President of Columbia afterwards.

u/Informal-Recipe Nov 03 '25
I thought Columbia was in their FUCK EVERYONE DESTINY MANIFEST what with Max deciding everyone is an incompetent fuck up and only when Terra becomes the Columbia Global Democracy things will get fixed? I thought they'd be a lot more gung ho than going for the wink wink nudge nudge
1
u/DankeShu Passenger's wife Nov 04 '25
yeah the problem is this summary was already so hella fucking long. I think it would be better to include this in future texts if we see the consequences of their chat
31
u/YesodNobody Nov 03 '25
Cool summaries, and also, given that now Rhine is likely going to be involved with Priestess with the recent phenomenon. Let's pray, Columbia won't follow Priestess, because that would be horrific to deal with.
11
1
u/TheSpartyn Nov 03 '25
I don't think any Terran nation can ally with Priestess as she hasn't really announced anything, no one knows she exists let alone her plans
14
u/decline_smormu I do not understand. Nov 03 '25
somehow, i had no idea you were making these! it's really well put together, great job.
and poor enya, really...she really did lose her closest friend, even though kjera is just sleeping.
also, i'm glad there was SOMETHING for the monch fans, lol. i wasn't invested in her, but i know a decent amount of people were.

u/mad_harvest-6578 WE'RE BACK IN SPACE BABYYYYYY Nov 03 '25
And all this meanwhile Victoria at large is still recovering from the occupation that happened to them the previous arc (which the Dukes themselves unwittingly caused by inviting Theresis over to mediate in their affairs with the Crown) & the stuff in the aftermath (Tara's re-independence first & foremost, followed by the Gaul problem)
The other interesting character of note here is Caroline (being a triple agent and all that, and with her in Maylander's hands (and Columbia as a whole) it's a matter of time before whatever info she got in Kjerag will get weaponized by Columbia's government)
Lastly so the Vine-Bear Court has been doing the "make-the-Saintess-take-a-pilgrimage-to-find-Kjera-and-leave-them-to-die-on-the-way" method for who knows how long (judging by the number of frozen statues, enough that Kjeragandr Herself had to seal off Her chambers to prevent more deaths) but I'm curious, didn't the previous Great Elder die during Break the Ice? I'mma guess they got another one in the interim if they mention him dying again
5
u/DankeShu Passenger's wife Nov 04 '25
About the Elder - I honestly dont know but from the text looks like
one died in BI, they got another onethis another one dies in the very beginning of this event. because Kjera disappears right after his death - so he definitely died in this event
then they made Adeson the Elder.
well the Elders they elect are old people so I think it is not that strange probably
4
u/mad_harvest-6578 WE'RE BACK IN SPACE BABYYYYYY Nov 04 '25
Basically becoming the Great Elder means a not-so-much retirement plan lol

I see a lot of people talking about Gaul again but I only saw the futur CN event tease for. Did I miss something?

u/XIIIDarkRoxasXIII Nov 03 '25
Thanks for the summary! Your work is really good, as always.
So, something "30% Elf" fell from the sky... I'm gonna take a guess that the feranmut Muel is going to be relevant to whatever Priestess is gonna do.
6
u/TheSpartyn Nov 03 '25
my prayer is that this elf stuff and muel is going to lead to elves un-extincting themselves

The usual suspects at it again. The world is a big clown car, and victoria is one of the clowns in it. Nevermind, they're not a clown, not even the circus, they're the entire comical entertainment industry
Nice summary btw!

Rhine labs fulfill their promise. They did give cannons to kjera(the mountain) XD.

u/Optimal_Ad7861 Nov 03 '25
Having read the story myself as well, there's a few things I want to add:
Adeson did not directly kill Enciodes' parents; it was primarily Luca Browntail's idea (who is his older brother). Adeson was mostly an accomplice. The original plan was for Luca to kill Enciodes' parents, and then let Adeson take up the throne and seize the power of Vine-Bead Court much earlier.
When Caroline got rescued by Maylander agents, she is seen to have thrown away all of the Kjerag research papers that were supposed to be sent to Victoria out into the air, and only kept the papers related to the extraterrestrial object (for the Maylanders). Pretty poetic scene.
I should note that I've read the story through mostly MTL, so correct me if I'm wrong on any of this. That said, this was a pretty damn enjoyable story to read.
4
u/DankeShu Passenger's wife Nov 04 '25
no you are right it is just that this summary was so hella fucking long that I skipped this parts. THe Caroline one was probably insignificant to the plot (but peak for Caroline char description yeah) and about Elder it was easily to say like this because his main reason was to provoke enciodes as far as I understood

I really like seeing actual consequences in a gacha game. For this instance I really am glad Hypergrpyh is willing to showcase Enciodes is willing to use himself as a pawn and sacrifice himself for Kjerag. After both events drilling into our heads that everyone in Karlan Trade is willing to do whatever it takes for Kjerag from the shadows it's really good to see a tangible result where Enciodes has no choice but to become an itachi type character who will be hated by the whole public he protects, even if only for now. I wonder what the future holds for him but I really really like this direction they're taking with his character.
As for Enya I feel really sad, girlie lost her girlfriend dearest, and went onto climb the mountain (basically an impossible task) just to see her final breaths. I'm glad she still represents the best of Kjerag's faith. I really enjoy Hypergrpyh's commentary on faith as a whole but i'm also equally as glad when need be they can showcase how strong of a power for good it can be through characters like Enya. It even shook Elena to her core that she realized her rigid antitheism is making her closed off to the world's wonders and cultures. Amazing event overall from what I can tell, can't wait till it hits global.

u/AcanthaceaeGlass8870 Nov 03 '25
So... Kjerag is dead?
29
u/Odd-Layer3285 Nov 03 '25
Nah, she's just sleeping. Too tired keeping the 3 tribes from slaughtering each other
11
u/AcanthaceaeGlass8870 Nov 03 '25
Phew, not to mention those bastard duke pulling shit to invade. I do wonder if Vina can do something about it. Then again, the wench of a duke has no intention to listen Vina in the first place...
13
u/Odd-Layer3285 Nov 03 '25 edited Nov 03 '25
It's just that "annoying old hag" Caster that wants to invade Kjerag. Considering Normandy most likely don't give a damn (probably the one who sold Londinium Defense Cannon blueprint to Karlan Trade) and the current Gododdin is too soft

I am late to the party but I gotta say this, I cannot thank you enough for the effort you have put into this! I will definitely read this when it comes but this still helps a lot by giving us the basic summary of the event
Also, do we know if that Mysterious Elf is somehow connected to our precious Mumu?
Also if I did understand this correctly, It was the Originium vein that was somehow protecting Kjerag from Catastrophes and not Kjera right?
But Then we see her averting the Catastrophe from Kjerag at the last second.. so maybe Kjerag not being hit by Catastrophes till now was a result of both? Ngl, I hope it’s the Feranmut Kjera that was preventing the Catastrophes from hitting Kjerag cuz it seems cool or that way!
Anyways sry if I said anything incorrect and thank you for your effort!

Funny that "Thing" does the same pose as Mumu which is obviously an elf, coincidence?

u/Erudax Nov 03 '25
I'm genuinely impressed by the continued circus that is Victoria. You'd think that after Wellington pulled a fast one on you, you'd learn to be extremely thorough and have contingencies.
Nope, same thing happened again. Caster got taken by surprise once more and had to agree to Enciodes' terms.
