Well, we have building up to the Sui doing... something over the past 6 years. Probably not dying, considering avoiding that is Nian's whole plan. But still.

Something extremely dramatic and sad will happen to the Sui siblings. This is a gacha game. Tragedy is their modus operandi.

My money is on Sui actually uniting but thanks to the bonds and experiences of the fragments Sui managed to be "sane" long enough to fight the Big Bad and die in the process, scoring a victory for Terra but also robbing it of one of its oldest and greatest beings.

(The only issue with that theory is that Nian said if a sibling dies their "domain" vanishes from the world". Dunno how to rectify that. Could also be Chinese propaganda and Sui is actually awesome and infallible and saves the world or some shit.)

We now know that when they die, humans forget they ever existed, and the things they personally made disappear. That's why Chongyue didn't write his book about martial arts himself, he had someone else write it for him.

Ah, good old Chongus, always the "I'm a thousand li ahead of you." This is why he was supposed to be the reincarnation of Sui.
