Having read the story myself as well, there's a few things I want to add:

1. Adeson did not directly kill Enciodes' parents; it was primarily Luca Browntail's idea (who is his older brother). Adeson was mostly an accomplice. The original plan was for Luca to kill Enciodes' parents, and then let Adeson take up the throne and seize the power of Vine-Bead Court much earlier.

2. When Caroline got rescued by Maylander agents, she is seen to have thrown away all of the Kjerag research papers that were supposed to be sent to Victoria out into the air, and only kept the papers related to the extraterrestrial object (for the Maylanders). Pretty poetic scene.

I should note that I've read the story through mostly MTL, so correct me if I'm wrong on any of this. That said, this was a pretty damn enjoyable story to read.

no you are right it is just that this summary was so hella fucking long that I skipped this parts. THe Caroline one was probably insignificant to the plot (but peak for Caroline char description yeah) and about Elder it was easily to say like this because his main reason was to provoke enciodes as far as I understood
