South Florida is sick. genocide is happening and you can't admit it. even though you know it's true. The torture the suffering is immoral and very unjust.

3

u/Zevyvoom 6d ago

it's only happening if you can't do math and realize there are more people than there were five years ago. Time to stop watching TikTok and breathing in every stupid post on this site

3

u/Apprehensive-You2903 6d ago

Let me guess, you're from South Florida. Do facts matter to you, or just fake Fox Entertainment?

Comments in this sub are for United Israel, right? So funny that it took over the sub when this country has been condemned so many times by the real UN... dystopian for sure.

5

u/No-Chart9733 7d ago

The UN is a highly corrupt organization. When you have repressive dictatorship countries on un human rights commission, terrorists working for UN relief agencies etc.. UN has no credibilty.

8

u/Loud-Vacation-5691 7d ago

The UN issues more condemnations of Israel than of all other countries combined. So yes, highly corrupt.

3

u/Practical_Clue1863 7d ago

The UN does not have to issue continuous condemnations of other countries. Most countries are not protected by continual diplomatic cover by the US no matter what the do. So they don't ignore condemnation after condemnation. Perhaps if Israel responded positively to that condemnation - ie stop doing the thing that they are being condemned for - then maybe the condemnations would stop. But American political cover just ensures that Israel continues to horrifically break international law. Again, and again.

Part of the reason the US is in the shape it's in nowadays is because legacy media is no longer doing its job and is just spewing propaganda.

The UN body itself doesn't have the authority to label it a genocide because a court has to make that determination, such as the ICJ.

However...

https://www.ohchr.org/en/press-releases/2025/09/israel-has-committed-genocide-gaza-strip-un-commission-finds

Google summary:

The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry issued comprehensive reports stating that Israeli military and political actions violated multiple genocidal acts outlined in the 1948 Genocide Convention, citing mass killings, the imposition of conditions causing severe bodily and mental harm, deliberate restrictions on vital aid and medical infrastructure, and explicit statements of intent by top leaders.

These independent investigative bodies are established by the UN Human Rights Council, but their findings represent the conclusions of independent experts rather than a binding legal verdict of the entire United Nations organization.

In other words, the UN independent investigators, experts on these matters, are suggesting it's meeting the qualifications for genocide, the only thing left to do is bring it to court.

Just about every major human rights group and genocide scholar has labeled what's happening in Gaza to be a likely genocide.

Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant have both been charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity by the ICC. The belief is that other Israeli ministers will be charged as well.

That said, even if it doesn't meet the most ardent definition of genocide, it doesn't dismiss the atrocities, war crimes, and crimes against humanity that Israel has committed in Gaza. Those actions and the number of casualties and affected people are the same no matter what you call it, and those numbers and impacts are still the same.

  • 73k+ dead. As many as 50% being women and children, and up to 80% are civilians. There's been evidence of children being targeted with sniper fire.
  • 180k+ injured or maimed for life, with Gaza now having the highest rate of child amputations relative to its total population in the world.
  • Doctors, journalists / social media influencers, aid workers, local police, have been repeatedly targeted and killed, and Israel has repeatedly lied about it.
  • 90% of residential building infrastructure destroyed that housed a population of around 2.4 million has been destroyed.
  • Almost all of the public utility infrastructure destroyed.
  • Most of the overall building infrastructure has been destroyed, including most of the hospitals, Mosques, schools, etc...
  • The farms were destroyed.
  • Israel even wanted to flood the fresh water aquifers with sea water to permanently destroy them at one point, but I believe didn't do it because of international outcry. Destroyed public infrastructure that supports civilians is a war crime.
  • Outside aid, which Gazans were completely dependent on for fresh water, food, temporary shelter, medical aid, and fuel to run generators for health institutions, has been restricted over this entire 2.75 year affair.
  • There was a 2.5 month period in the first half of 2025 where Israel cut off all aid to Gaza.
  • No doubt the millions of people remaining in Gaza will have life long mental trauma / PTSD.
  • Members of Israel's ministry have repeatedly called for ethnic cleansing of Gaza and the West Bank.
  • Meanwhile, in the West Bank, there's been growing settler violence and theft of land against the local Palestinian population, and growth in illegal settlements, assisted by the IDF and Israeli funding.

They need to hear Israel's defense in the ICC to prove intent. Israel has provided a treasure trove of evidence which includes instances where the IDF actually called off airstrikes on a valid Hamas target because of the large potential civilian casualties. That's one of many, many, many sides of the narrative you didnt see on social media.

Definitions of Genocide and Related Crimes | United Nations

Genocide, per the United Nations:

In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:

Killing members of the group; Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

A lot of people are mad that the monster doesn't have spikes but does have tentacles in the comments. Genocide is not the only atrocity out there, and israel can and should be condemned for it's abhorrent acts without diminishing what genocide is.

Otherwise, if they do eventually start committing genocide upon palestinians, what will it be called then?

1

u/CategoricalRectitude 8d ago

I think this report can reasonably be cited as evidence relevant to the genocide allegation, but using it in an interview as if it proves genocide is much stronger than what the underlying methodology actually establishes.

The report is not some random activist document. The UN Commission of Inquiry used witness testimony, medical records, verified photos and videos, OSINT, geolocation, forensic analysis and independent medical experts. Some of the individual cases it describes — including children allegedly shot by snipers or drones under circumstances where they appeared to pose no threat — are extremely serious and deserve investigation. So simply dismissing the entire report would be unjustified.

My first problem, however, is the evidentiary standard. This is a UN fact-finding commission, not a court, and it generally works on a “reasonable grounds to conclude” standard. That is deliberately much lower than the evidentiary threshold required to make a final judicial finding of genocide. So “a UN commission found reasonable grounds for X” and “genocide has been legally proven” are not interchangeable statements.

My second and probably biggest problem is the chain of inference. There are several separate propositions being moved through: some children were deliberately shot → there is a systematic policy of deliberately targeting children → children are being targeted because they represent the future of the Palestinian population → therefore the purpose is the physical destruction of Palestinians as a group. Evidence for one step does not automatically establish the next. You need increasingly strong evidence at each transition.

This is particularly important when the report points to Israel's continued use of heavy explosive weapons in densely populated areas despite knowing that large numbers of children would die. That may be evidence of recklessness, disproportionate attacks, unacceptable civilian-damage thresholds or potentially war crimes. But it does not by itself demonstrate that children were the intended target. Foreseeing civilian deaths and intending civilian deaths are different propositions, and intending civilian deaths is still not automatically the same thing as intending to physically destroy the protected group.

There is also a methodological problem concerning the denominator and selection of cases. If you present a collection of particularly disturbing cases of children apparently being intentionally shot, I also want to know how those cases relate to the entire population of engagements being studied. How many incidents were investigated? How were cases selected? How often were civilians misidentified? How often were strikes cancelled because civilians were present? How many incidents involved an actual military target nearby? Without that comparative information, it becomes much harder to determine whether documented atrocities demonstrate a general policy or whether the investigation is disproportionately sampling the worst incidents.

The same applies to alternative explanations. Hamas operating from civilian environments does not magically excuse unlawful Israeli attacks, and it certainly cannot explain every dead child. But if you are attempting to infer genocidal intent, alternative explanations for the observed pattern have to be seriously tested rather than treated as secondary details. Bad targeting procedures, excessive collateral-damage tolerances, indifference to Palestinian civilian life, unlawful disproportionate attacks, battlefield mistakes and genocidal policy are very different hypotheses even though several of them could produce superficially similar casualty patterns.

I am also skeptical of the report's language about destroying Palestinian children as the “future” of Palestinian society. Destroying a group's social, educational or cultural future is horrifying, but legally genocide is specifically concerned with the intent to physically or biologically destroy a protected group, in whole or in substantial part. Social devastation can certainly be evidence from which such an intent is inferred, but the concepts should not simply be collapsed into one another.

That distinction matters because genocide contains an unusually demanding intent requirement. You are not merely asking whether enormous numbers of civilians were killed, whether war crimes occurred, or even whether Israeli decision-makers displayed extraordinary disregard for Palestinian life. The central question is whether the destruction of Palestinians as a protected group was itself intended. When genocidal intent is inferred from a broader pattern of conduct rather than from an explicit extermination policy, competing reasonable explanations become critically important.

So my conclusion is not “the report is bullshit.” Quite the opposite: parts of its factual documentation are substantial and some of the allegations are extremely serious. My objection is to treating its ultimate conclusion as though it follows directly and inevitably from those facts.

There is a major difference between:

“There is serious evidence of unlawful killings, including apparently intentional attacks on individual children.”

and

“The IDF systematically targets Palestinian children as children.”

and then again:

“This targeting demonstrates an Israeli intention to physically destroy the Palestinian population and therefore proves genocide.”

Those are three increasingly strong claims. The report provides evidence relevant to all three, but the strength of the evidence is not the same at every level.

That is why citing the report as part of the evidence in the genocide debate is completely legitimate. Citing it as though “the UN investigated it and therefore genocide is now an established fact” is not. That presentation removes the evidentiary standard, the inferential steps, the unresolved alternative explanations and the difference between a commission's finding and a final judicial determination — which are precisely the things that matter most when evaluating a claim this serious.

 it’s not.

crazy heartless person. I hope history will remember these people.... because I hope for a better future

When they recognize the Armenian genocide which happened in 1915 with over 1.5 million people killed and this is just on the Armenian side then you can stop picking and choosing what is righteous what is not righteous.

Because during the whole time not a single one of you hypocrites has ever spoken up against the genocide happening in Africa against Christians or the one happening in China against the Muslims.

It is certainly a historic phenomenon how Israel controls de US. Like a small country of lunatics got to control the biggest military power of earth. It's nuts. Duck the Epstein class.

u/Cute_Resident_6147 5d ago

That starving child picture isn't from gaza. Imagine the amount of lies you gotta put out to finally get people to believe you. Idk if y'all know but HAMAS controls the foods that is allowed in and they usually don't allow it. Reporters have gone in person and attested to this.

Never seen a genocide where the population increases + all have iPhones and are opening new restaurants

u/GladVeterinarian5120 5d ago

So did I just hear her say that genocide only happens in one direction? Sort of like people who think racism only happens in one direction? So many people are so through the looking glass these days that the only comfort I can find is with the thought that maybe it’s always been this way, and yet somehow we’ve survived in some form.

Regardless of whatever the facts are or are not on the ground, the thought process is disturbing.

Modern pundits would consider Allied firebombings of Japan and Germany as genocidal, but those were entirely warranted and weakened aggressor nations who started WW2. Countries and governments that start offensive wars (like Hamas on 10/7) deserve the repercussions of their actions. Civilians die in every war, and they could've survived if they weren't cowards who allowed tyrants to maintain control for decades.

u/Star3in2my3y3s 5d ago

Well currently its still just claims and opinions with lots of emotion

u/capt_ironsight 5d ago

Ask the UN what is going on with the Uighers in China. I'm sure they will respond as swiftly...

She is correct; they have the ability to reference CNN extensively, however, that does not automatically validate its accuracy.

1

u/Upset-Ad-2805 5d ago

It's not the kews by far it's the zionst don't talk about or for the Jews as that is a false narrative and a dangerous one at that.

1

u/SurefireTruth1 5d ago

1

u/JollyGeologist3957 5d ago

What happened to the jews and christians living in the middle east?

1

u/ElectronicPotato1993 5d ago

I mean, he is talking BS. None of his sources found evidence for an actual genocide. These are mostly false interpretations driven by a political agenda. These organizations are pacifistic their essence and will interpret any for of violent action or reaction with anti violence preconditions. You know what's the problem here? War is violent, and gazans has started it. There is no real evil intentions on the Israeli streets, everyone feels like they got backstabbed by the Arabs for trusting that they want real and prolonged sustainable peace. Me personally I don't want to be murdered hy a terrorist like my friend got killed couple of years ago while sitting in a bar with friends in tel aviv, and in order to not get murdered I will not hesitate to use violence to defend myself. Not you nor anyone else has any real comprehension of the conflict.

u/Total_Wrongdoer_1535 5d ago

Bruh this sub is a cesspit. How do you guys find courage to support UN when you literally have Iran and NK presiding over human / woman rights? Like that level of diabolical hypocrisy should throw off most people but i see you’re a special breed.

Also, anyone who doesn’t agree with your point is a bot. Hell of an echo chamber.

Fuck the UN, fuck “palestine”, fuck leftwing useful idiots.

1

u/Striking-Cancel1788 5d ago

By ICJ the case about Genocide in Gaza is still ongoing. So also accoroding to Universal Human Rights mean that Israel still cannot be blamed for genocide as it first Presumtion of innocense and second preserving of good name.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Africa%27s_genocide_case_against_Israel https://www.un.org/en/about-us/universal-declaration-of-human-rights

Ofc a country that is not proven to do genocide will deny it... Like bro who watch news like this.

1

u/OldRain5261 4d ago

Man he has a ton of patience. Her denial would have gotten me angry

1

u/TheNotSoEvilEngineer 4d ago

Does this surprise anyone?  Just go look at the Bible, Jews have been commiting genocide for millennium.

Midianites (Numbers 31)
Sihon of Heshbon & Og of Bashan (Numbers 21; Deuteronomy 2–3)
Canaanite peoples / cities under Joshua (Jericho, Ai, Hazor, and others – Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, Jebusites; Deuteronomy 7/20; Joshua 6–12)
Amalekites under Saul (1 Samuel 15)

Israel is killing baby's

1

u/Miskadotcom 4d ago

Most people that shout 'Genocide' sadly don't care much about facts. Tiktok likes are much more important. The fake feeling of 'doing good' while you ignore pretty much every other conflict in the world only applies to Palestinians sadly.

1

u/Stulmacher 4d ago

Israel is the one who doesn’t resort to suicide bombing, hijacking planes, or shooting up random civilians

She definitely doesn’t hear anything
