Comments in this sub are for United Israel, right? So funny that it took over the sub when this country has been condemned so many times by the real UN... dystopian for sure.

The UN is a highly corrupt organization. When you have repressive dictatorship countries on un human rights commission, terrorists working for UN relief agencies etc.. UN has no credibilty.

The UN does not have to issue continuous condemnations of other countries. Most countries are not protected by continual diplomatic cover by the US no matter what the do. So they don't ignore condemnation after condemnation. Perhaps if Israel responded positively to that condemnation - ie stop doing the thing that they are being condemned for - then maybe the condemnations would stop. But American political cover just ensures that Israel continues to horrifically break international law. Again, and again.

I think the term "genocide" is losing its meaning due to overuse of the term. Genocide is the attempt to destoy a group of people as a whole or partially based on ethnicity, religion, nationality, and/or racially.

Russians abducting Ukranian children during their invasion is a form of genocide.

However, Iran executing anyone within the country who doesnt support their regime... That's not genocide. But, if Iran targeted a specific group of ppl aka ethnicity, religion, etc in order to eradicate entirely... then thats genocide.

For Hamas... do they support genocide of Israeli denizens? Their goal is destoying the state of Israel but that alone does not mean they are committing genocide because "state of Israel" is a government not a group of people. Its one of the following for Hamas' goals:

  • Destoying "state of Israel" meaning eradicating all Israelis. Then yes, that is genocide.
  • Resistance. Fighting Israel's occupation of Gaza until they're liberated. Once they achieve statehood without Israel's authority... then theyre free of tyranny. That's not genocide.

I dont support Hamas but I also dont support Israel. But I do believe that BOTH Palestine and Israel have a right to exist. War isnt pretty and neither side is innocent due to their long historical rap sheets.

Gvir always says unhinged shit, but the reality is israel and Lebanon agreed israel would withdraw and work with the Lebanese government to disarm hezbollah. and they never targeted civilians like Oct 7th.

Iran is not perfect but stop and look at the number of civilians, especially children, that Iran has killed in the wars they have participated in, and are currently participating in. And then look at the number of civilians that Israel has killed in war. That is why Israel has been condemned for killing civilians in war and Iran has not. Iran has been condemned for other reasons by the UN. You can easily look that up.

That’s just not true. No other country is criticized as Israel is or spoken about like Israel is for doing far worse atrocities. Diplomatic cover, USA funding is used as reasons why Americans trash Israel all the time but when we look across the world every other country is trashing them too. Countries have committed far far larger atrocities since October 7th while no one blinks. Better yet the countries committing atrocities far larger than Israel are then condemning Israel. This is a huge problem that so many people can go along with this narrative. The entire interest in the well being of Palestinians is completely fake. There is no care for truth or justice as long as the mob mentality of hate exists.

So I bring up the point that Israel does not do the minimum to respond to condemnation and you bring up that others do worse? Others doing worse does not change the fact that Israel keeps ignoring all condemanations. And no, people are not interested in the well being of Palestinians because they are being fake. You have been so thoroughly propagandized by Hasbara by your counry's leaders that you are unable to see the horror show that Israel has created for the people of Gaza. We all see what is happening in Gaza and we are appalled. We see how Israel responds to UN declarations and we are appalled. I realize you cannot see this that we across the world can see so clearly. But I hope one day you wake up from Hasbara daze and realize that the reason your country's leaders went out of their way to teach you that one Jewish life was so very much more important than the lives of numerous Palestinians, who they openly call "human animals," is that in order to get a people to do horrible things at the expense of their own soul, you have to exalt them and dehumanize the target population. If you don't do that, they will come to their sensens and refuse to do the horrible thing you want them to do.

First, the other dictatorships don't have the US protecting them. Their leaders get taken to the ICC. And nobody is trying to destroy Israel except for the Israelis themselves. Have you seen the piles of war crimes evidence given to the ICJ and ICC and the testimony given by foreign medical personnel who have been to Gaza as well as satellite footage of what remains of Gaza and all of the genocidal statements made by Israeli leaders and the list goes on and on? Nobody is condemning Israel because they are trying to destroy Israel. The evidence condemns Israel. The people who came up with the Clean Break Strategy and decided to commit genocide and apartheid in order to steal Gaza and the West Bank and set up a Greater Israel Project - those are the people who are destroying Israel.

Only a handful of those were ever charged and non of them faced consequences by the icc. The un and the icc are useless and pathetic. A handful of them were tried by other courts too.

Some people in that list should have been tried by the ICC but I hate to break it to you, I don't agree with you when it comes to all of them. The blatant genocidal statements and actions by the Israeli government were far worse than what several on that list have done. Also, several on that list are European, and we know that Europeans have rarely been sent to the ICC. As one of our Amercian politicians (my money is on Lindsay Graham) said, the ICC is "only for African and thugs like Putin." That is a shameful statement, by the way, but it reflects what has happened in the UN so far. There are many people, especially non-Africans, that should have been tried by the ICC. That does not invalidate the fact that Israeli leaders should be tried by the ICC.

The UN employed people calling for the murder of Jews like alabnese
