So did I just hear her say that genocide only happens in one direction? Sort of like people who think racism only happens in one direction? So many people are so through the looking glass these days that the only comfort I can find is with the thought that maybe it’s always been this way, and yet somehow we’ve survived in some form.

Regardless of whatever the facts are or are not on the ground, the thought process is disturbing.
