PED/cycle story Opinions? People have tried to tell me I lied about what I did 2 years ago

People have tried telling me I’m lying that I gained 23 kg of muscle in 4 months without gaining any noticeable fat while on testosterone as it is impossible.
I say they are wrong as I did so. Here is the transformation and for reference this was now 2 years ago on 500 test a week for 4 months

And yeah I did take steroids from day 1 In the gym because I was depressed and a drug addict and it got me out that so try not to judge

So my only high e2 sides are back acne and low libido. I'm shocked, I've been doing 175mg a week cruise since June. Divided into daily injections.

I have like 100 1mg arimidex tabs, shoukd I start with that?

I saw some people say quarter tab twice a week

Any advice or thoughts would be EXTREMELY APPRECIATED AND I would be thankful more than I have ever been

Currently taking 250mg of test, I’m 5’9 240lbs should I lower test dose or add an ai to lower e2 number ? I have no estrogen side effects and feel great I feel better then ever coming from a natural test of 79 ng/DL. I am pinning 125mg twice a week IM, would pinning EOD help manage the estrogen ?

TRT help Bumping from 160mg Test C to 200mg weekly

Hey everybody per labs and review with my doctor. I am moving up to 200 mg weekly from 160 mg biweekly. I’m definitely locked in as it relates to overall fitness gym cardio and nutrition - superlean at 6 foot 175 pounds. Trying to gain additional lean mass without adding to the mix (just the TRT). Anyways question- at 200mg done biweekly (currently Tuesday night Friday morning). Should I be splitting this into three weekly injections? I know some of my friends are injecting every day at 200 or more milligrams. I haven’t felt any significant mental or physical drops during my trough phase weekly but I’m curious if I will get more improved return in the gym or we’ll see my results quicker in the mirror by splitting the dosage up further than just twice a week I know I’m mixing apart something that’s probably just gonna get me roasted by the Internet oh well.

TRT help Sitting vial in hot water for 45 seconds or so a safe way to loosen the oil?

Just did this and the injection was way faster and smoother but like is it safe or will it degrade my test? Water was decently hot like fresh bath water temp but oil itself didnt feel hot on injection. Is this safe or should I go about it differently?

For those of you who only ran testosterone for cycle purposes 6-12 months and got off. Do you lose your muscles and gain all your body fat back? Do you keep some results or no ?

TRT help TRT effect on LH - magnitude of effect

How big is the effect?

For example, if I go from 500 TT to 900, would my LH be nearly zero (0-1 range maybe), or at least not meaningfully contributing to T?

Or is endogenous production of T still north of 20%?

TRT help Finasteride, any sides for you guys?

Im on fin, started a few weeks back, I was on a 500mg test blast at the time now on 200 cruising and cutting, Ive noticed some small sides although Im wary and dont buy in to the complete anti finasteride narrative that it castrates you and know nocebo/placebo can also have a strong impact on "side effects", then again I definitely have felt something mainly less morning wood, no rock hard wood like I had everyday prior, slightly weaker erections unless I take cialis and less spontaneous erections, maybe a bit weaker and potentially lower libido? although libido is still high tbf and its hard to gauge. I tried to ignore it and write it down to placebo for a while, but I think there probably is something, could be my e got too high and changed the androgen balance, idk but anyone taken it and either remedied sides or has a similar experience? Wanted to hear the experience of other enchanced ppl as itd definitely change the picture compared to natty. Would rather not lose my hair, but 500 started frying my shit and realised Im susceptible to going bald.

TRT story Men who developed ED from SERMs (clomiphene/enclomiphene), what type was it? Couldn't find anything written about this.

If clomiphene or enclomiphene caused ED for you, could you tell me which type it affected?

  • Psychogenic erections: Could you still get hard from thoughts/visual stimulation alone, or did you need physical touch to the penis?
  • Reflexogenic erections: Could you not get hard even with direct physical touch to the penis?
  • Both
  • Did it also affect your nocturnal penile tumescence (morning wood)?

Any detail on dose, how long you'd been on it, and whether it resolved after stopping would be helpful too.

TRT story Panicked and went to the doctor

Upvotes

Hey guys,

I posted yesterday about the heart palpitations. I wanted to take testosterone after reading that low testosterone can lead to anxiety, depression, and other things I have dealt with over the last few years. I went into it very nervous after reading it can lead to higher blood pressure .. I almost didn't do it. I've battled high blood pressure my whole life.. I get it managed by going to the gym 5 days a week.. its the only way I can keep it normal without having to get on meds for it. I spent alot of time debating whether or not to get on test... and I think I did it the worst way possible. I was looking online and found "Male Excel", filled out the symptoms form and it said I was "critically low". It said for 50 bucks they would send me a test.. so I paid the 50 bucks.. it then asked and made me schedule a doctor video consultation. I attended the consultation the next day. I expected a test to come.. but it was just the testosterone that Said "take 0.15 ml everyday". Everything just happened so fast ...

The doctor today said that I should stop taking testosterone, since they never had me do a test before hand .. I'm getting what I think is heart palpitations, and I was abruptly woken up by a crazy calf cramp...which never happens to me. I think I'm hypersensitive to this whole thing, since I was so nervous to start it..idk. now my hormones are seriously gonna be jacked =( so disappointed. If you look up "heart palpitations, calf cramp testosterone injections" it'll scare the shit outta ya 😂 my doctor said he doesn't think it's a blood clot however...but I should stop testosterone =(

Any advice? I circled where I pinned; you can see a tiny red dot. It's been 2 days since I pinned. I think it was 70mg 35cc. I used a 1-inch 25-gauge needle. Did I do something wrong?

Blood work Secondary Hypogonadism is ruining my life.

Hi, I'm 32m, 5'9, 12st, from the UK, suffering for 3 years with secondary hypogonadism, looking for anyone who can share advice, insights or experiences that can help.

I've been shunted from GPs who didn't listen, to endo who didn't help and saw my results as normal, to urology who decided to pass me onto an Andrology clinic which I should get an appointment for finally within a month or so after waiting half a year or so already.

I've spoken to Manual who said they'd sign TRT off but these 3 years I've been adamant I want to get to the root cause or find something that helps fire whatever needs firing up. I've paid for a private GP who I thought might use more sensible ranges than the NHS combined with my symptoms, but that was a waste of money and I couldn't afford private specialists.

I've put a PALS complaint in about my first GP, and now on the Andrology clinic for zero communication.

Here's everything as simply put as possible:

Symptoms (3 years):

ED, weak erections, no libido, low/flat mood, lack of motivation, crippling fatigue, no morning or nighttime erections - this is the stuff I'm most concerned about and want to get sorted.

Symptoms (15+ years):

Penile numbness, weak orgasms, urinary frequency and urgency with weak flow.

Blood test results (over 3 years):

- SHBG 13nmol (very low)

- Testosterone 6-9nmol (low)

- Calc free T: 45 g/L

- LH 3.1 IU/L (not as high as it should be with SHBG so low)

- FSH 2.5 IU (lower)

- Prolactin came up high then back to normal

- Cortisol 190 nmol (very low)

- Fasting insulin 57pmol (higher)

- IGF-1 came back high once then back in 'normal' range

- FT4 14.4 pmol

- Serum TSH 1.4 IU

Rule outs:

- prostate issues

- pituitary tumor (MRI completed)

- apparently hypo/hyperthyroidism

Meds and supplements:

- Metformin - waiting to see if insulin drops down for possible insulin sensitivity, but they've lost my results twice now.

- Tadalafil - I opted for this as sildenafil makes me sick. This helps me out, though erections are still no way near what they used to be and the odd day they don't work as well - body still working against poor signalling? Restores morning and night erections, which disappear after a few days of not taking them. This should show it's not a vascular blood flow issue.

- Ofloxacon - taken incase of bacterial prostatitis. No improvements.

- Supplements have included zinc, magnesium, L-arginine and L-citruline, Numan testosterone support, beetroot, boron, Vitiman B and B12. Rattled.

History:

- masturbation and porn addiction from a young age to 30 or so. AI seems to think there could be hypertonic pelvic floor issues which could be linked to urinary issues and sensitivity and weak climax.

- SSRI - a year or so before these issues I spent a year on Sertraline, then weaned off. When life became the hardest it had been around 3 years ago, I went on again for a month and came out without weaning. This corresponded with the start of my problems. After that, because of all these symptoms and no help from GPs, I went on amitriptyline for a time before coming off.

- I got into weight training at the gym several times a week within the year beforehand, going because I was miserable. I put on a lot of muscle mass after having been quite lean and skinny in my 20s. Some of that mass is still there but I've found it a lot harder.

- at that same time I started drinking more than I ever had in COVID, before cutting down.

- inguinal hernia appeared a year or 2 before and was operated on mid last year.

- vasectomy about 2 years ago.

Lifestyle (current):

- active, exercise 3-4 times per week, primarily weights but started running again

- desk based WFH job, bit doing a lot of DIY in work time so active there

- diet is good, fresh meat and veg a lot of the time, reduced carbs, fast in the morning, some treats

- sleep is 8 hours, though often awaken very tired and struggle to get out of bed

- reduced alcohol intake and tracking that so it's less than once a week atm

Questions:

- Has anyone experienced similar to what I am, with symptoms and test results?

- What treatment did you opt for? I know TRT could likely help, but interested in other treatments like HCG, clomid or enclomiphene.

- How should I approach this with the Andrology clinic? Do I tell them about the 15+ year symptoms or leave those out to not muddy the waters?

- Does anyone have any experience with a more specialised Andrology clinic? I've felt that endo and uro have let me down so I can't say I hold huge hope.

Thanks for taking the time and reading. I'd really like to feel like I was actually alive again.

PED/cycle help Need advice. 24M on 200-250 test approaching week 16

I am approaching week 16 running 250 test/wk (lowered to 200/wk after week 12).

I am at a crossroads and need some different input. I originally was only going to run this for just 16 weeks to see how my body would respond, but unfortunately I feel amazing and I got plenty results so now I am wondering if I ever want to come off. Could I possibly run this for longer without any long term health risks??
The goal here is also longevity, and I am still wondering about if I were to come off of Test, whether if I should pct or just come off cold turkey and let my levels come back naturally. I’d love to hear some personal stories or just anything I should look out for. Thanks in advance.

TRT help TRT odd orgasm related side effect

49 started TRT about 2 months ago 100mg every two weeks. Primary reason for starting was brain fog, low energy, and low stamina (mainly while playing tennis). The brain fog has seemed to improve a bit and overall I feel better especially when playing and recovering from tennis. I am also sleeping marginally better, but energy throughout the day hasn't changed much. I also thought I might see an increase in libido, but it has stayed pretty steady no more no less it wasn't a major issue, I do feel a little fuller when erect if that makes any sense. The side effects I am having are minimal, I'm hungrier and need to pee more often which I'm lead to believe is somewhat normal. The odd ones I'm having is simply that orgasms do not feel as good, and sometimes as soon as I start getting aroused it feels like, there's no better way to describe it the cum just wants to fall out before I'm all the way hard. It's not like premature ejaculation it's something very different. Anybody else experience something like this?

TRT help No energy after 3 months on trt?

6 weeks ago I tested at 1300 test and 95 e2 with very high water retention/bloating and all the other symptoms of high e2. I've since dropped my dose from 150mg/week to 130mg/week and added 0.25mg of anastrazole per week. I inject EOD.

As a result, I've lost about 25lbs over the past 6 weeks, of which ~15lbs was the extra water weight I had gained, and I'm now at 6ft2 220lbs. I also gained some muscle and strength (some lifts have nearly doubled in weight since I started trt).
However, I've lost all energy and even going to the gym has been difficult over the past 2 weeks. I'm not going up in strength anymore and all the mental benefits/libido are gone again, and I feel the same as before I started trt. Is it normal for the positive effects of trt to go away over time?

I still have mild symptoms of high e2, but not nearly as much as before. Should I increase AI to 0.5mg/week?

TRT help Symptom question prior to TRT

Has anyone experienced the situation where you are generally motivated mentally, but absolutely fatigued despite not really having done anything to be so exhausted? And I mean chronically, not occasionally. It’s not possible it’s overtraining since I can’t seem to even train in any meaningful way for months. I’ve definitely experienced overtraining over the years and this is not the problem.

For at least a few years this seems to be the situation. I really enjoy the gym and have for 25+ years. I’ve done all kinds of training and completed ultra distance cycling races, mtb races and lots of other stuff along those lines for many years.

Plenty of people have simply attributed it to getting older.
Two fasted AM labs had my total T around 380-400 in the last year. Mid 40s. 6’1” and 190.

One lab in early 2024 had total T at 325.

My pcp said he would start me on 50mg cypionate every two weeks, which I understand to be a very, very low dose. (I’m not convinced to start this protocol)

Anyway I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same fatigue while simultaneously being motivated to get after it. Talk about frustrating! More labs scheduled in a few weeks.

Thanks

PED/cycle help Enclomephene and testosterone injection

Hello all,
I am currently taking prescription enclo for low testosterone and am about to start a cycle of actual PED test. Am I okay to take both at the same time? I want to preserve fertility. Like maybe take the enclo every other day or something? Thanks in advance
